When you got that crit miss within the first minute of the fight I was like yep, at least one of those is required per fight, so we got it out of the way early. Also, the rest of the duergar were remarkably chill about you killing that dude in front of them.
Hah yeah, it's bound to happen so as you say, nice to have it done! I was expecting the entire encounter to start there with the first fella, but was pleasantly surprised to take that one out solo first. Makes life easier, those berserkers can make life tough fast.
lol @ nere's stupid visages. I once had it blow me into the lava and it ended a run. i was worried for shart there because she was so close to it. great job with the duergar tho, it was a little hairy but Lady Shar's blessings were upon you!
Okay something i noticed about the suprise mechanics of this game maybe u can test, U probably arent getting the suprised round because of attacking from invisibility while being outside of their vision cone. The enemy "looks" for where its getting attacked from and the same time u lose invisibility. When enemies do "find" u, u dont get the suprise round. Maybe try being in the vision cone with invisibility and then attack...so the suprise attack works. Test it out, see if this is consistent. :) U have quite deep knowledge aboit the game!
I'd recommend you pick up the shining staver of skulls and use that offhand. Can combo with the gloves of beligerant skies after you clear the gith. That being said you're giving up some ac with your current gloves and armor, though that may be an astetic choice. Good video as per usual.
I did play around a bit with that but was unable to shadow step due to the light it shines. Which unfortunately rules it out since I don't want to keep switching weapons every time I want to step. I really like the weapon though but will have to use it on another run. Thanks!
5:11 what a coincidence - or did you masterfully and covertly plan for this alignment? these braziers just happen to be in the perfect place for you. ☺ the duergars helped me against Nere once (haven't been there as often as you) and didn't immediately leave after the battle. why not take them out after they helped you dispatch Nere? Shar would not approve? 🤭
I wish I could claim that I did 😅, but honestly it was just coincidence. I did however hope anyone of em would walk beneath it, so I was paying attention for it during the fight. I just like to do it the hard way once in awhile, that’s all
question: why did you skip the Nere dialogue cut scene? is it too risky for solo HM? 19:14 do you wear the gloves just for the +1 armour class? you deflected missiles several times during the fight. how did you do that? thanks for showing me how _Blink_ works. never used this spell yet but will certainly try it out in my clumsy attempts at solo mode. my solo psychotic (Dark Urge) Gith wizard _Palpatine_ (thinks of himself as a 'Sith Lord') in Tactician mode is lv 5.5 and cleared everything overland in part 1. now off to the Underdark to collect a Spectator together with Glut for Bulette hunting. can it still be considered 'solo' then? 🤔
I just didn’t feel like it this time, was hoping to get him early and try to avoid the duergar killing as well. Gloves is just for the armor yeap! Very welcome about blink, awesome spell if you’re not concentrating on a spell (it breaks if you pop out of existence). Gith wizard sounds like a lot of fun! I used the bulette with Glut last run, it’s a lot of fun! You still die if your character gets down so I’d say that it counts! Also, more important it’s fun :) Oh yea deflecting missiles does not cost ki (only reaction) returning the arrow does though.
Are you aware that, with dual wielding on, you attack with both weapons one after the other for an opportunity attack? It’s annoying to constantly switch it on and off but…nothing more satisfying than melting a dude as he tries to run away from you.
I am but I’m under the impression that if you attack with it turned off then you cannot turn it on until next turn. This might be wrong though! It’s just something I (for some reason) talked myself into. 😅

Spontaneous listening party at the end made me giggle.
Gotta liven up the place a bit after all that killing :D
I love Shart's armor. It looks so cool on her. Also, nice job!
Hell yes! It looks so good! 🖤
Per usual, amazing and delightful!
Oh thank you
Haha nice! Never thought to attack him before his cutscene.. you just saved another gnome 😃
Hah! I didn't even realize that!
Your shadow monk character is so cool to see in action. I find myself thinking of different builds as I go through the game.
Glad to hear! It feels very fluid to play, super enjoyable!
2:33 Everyone is surprised - even Shadowheart, that the surprise worked 😅

Me too! I always underestimate to push he do! Thankfully it went alright 😅
the gnomes deserved that lil jam sesh at the end
They do! I'm not entirely sure but it might be the first time they come out alive from this!
poison spray action surge poison spray wombo combo
It was kinda surprising tbh, never seen that 'move' before

Oh that's a good theory! I'll have to try that out!
12.32 : all this violence could have been avoided if they'd just surrendered their fish. Tsk.
Hehe yeap!

I lava how you always have a pun for the Nere video, even if they are kinda grym.
I do try :)

Hi
Um I need to get the duelest provocative rapier for a build ? And I have an op ranged build that uses aura of muder?
I have never used that weapon. What build is that?
On yt look at stealth bg3 builds there is a guy called stealth look at his blade dancer build
Got it
Why not use something like thunder scroll to push some dwarvs into the lava tho
I’m not sure if I had any 🧐

If you have the reaction toggled to ask, you can turn the offhand attack on before slecting yes to it. @FriendlyLich
@@logan9042 Oh sweet! I'll give that a try!
