@@adam_ziegel A dumble, a TS9 and a 64 Strat 😂. I'm using a Boss Katana 50, the Boss Tone Studio and a Squier 50s Classic Vibe Strat with Fender Yosemite pups. I've been looking at Fender Blues Juniors, but what I really want is a Two-Rock Sterling Signature. Maybe someday!
Obvious start, use the neck and middle pickup together. It’s basically a 1/2 ratio with bass and treble. I like a nice 8 on bass so maybe 4-5 for treble. Middle at like 5 or 4. A super reverb works best for this tone in my opinion. The chorus of the song uses a tube screamer with the tone cranked, and the solo is the same thing. On the try recording he switched to a compresses screamer for the solo, but the where the light is version stays on his chorus, maybe with the drive up a little more. Ibanez tube screamer works best. And choke your pick to get a more classy bell tone. Hope this helps😁
They need to fire that sound guy😂
Lol
yep
for real -- no drums
This performance was on my birthday
This is the guitar tone I'm hunting
It's a great one. The tone I'm chasing is Mayer's solo tone on What Kind Of Woman Is This with Buddy Guy at FarmAid. He has so many enviable tones.
@@joojoosasa good for you, dude! What's yoir angle on getting it
