I want to buy a camera for video and photo shooting, what camera do you use? It’s also interesting to know how you photograph finished products, it turned out to be not as easy as I thought. I really like watching your videos, you are “alive”, you make mistakes somewhere and this is normal, and then I also feel normal when I make mistakes.

Thank you so much! 🥹💜 I am currently using a Canon 90D but the 80D is also just as good in my opinion!
Thank you for being here l! 💜

Not sure why you are adding flux into a carbon crucible?
Flux destroys carbon crucibles and molds, I get that its an alloy, but both metals in the alloy are pure, quick stir with a carbon rod maybe? I have only ever used flux on a silica melting dish, never into carbon. Is that a furnace manufacturer recommendation? Just curious to know as I use a torch only with air pressure casting and the metal added into the dish of the investment cristobalite mold after burnout and melt in situ with a torch no furnace. Similar but not the same process.
    Love your work though, enjoy!!!

Ya know? I’m not sure why either! 😂🙈 I always heard “use borax to help your metal flow” but when I think back on it, that’s when I was learning how to sand cast and using a crucible!! I’ve never heard not to put it in a carbon crucible until you said this right now 👀 so THANK YOU for teaching me something new (and in a kind way lol)! That’s why I love this platform 🙏🏻💜💜💜

@@MiteraMade honestly mate, you should do what works for you, I am definitely not giving instruction here, but do a quick google on the topic. Like you I am totally self taught too, I only learned by doing and I am no expert.
Here's 2 books for you to check out by Oppi Untracht " Jewellery concepts and technology" and " Metal techniques for craftsmen" now alot of the material is the same in both books, but there is a ton of info in them, piles of charts in the back sections for making your own alloys, coloured alloys, as a very small example. They are both Expensive!! So find some used ones, they are both recommended in the trade, they are also old, but are worth having, if I only had one it would be " jewellery concepts and technology" just don't spend $100's on them of your hard earned income.
Your creative spirit inspires, keep going!!!

Absolutely fascinating to watch! I just lost 2 hours of my time but it was totally worth it! I don’t know why but I feel so bad that you lose all the wax when you cast and have to redo it each time, even with the mold!

So I melt scrap down and pour them to make ingots. I’m using a graphite mold and a crucible. I’m trying to figure out if a melting furnace is worth it. I know you use yours for a different purpose but do you have any specific recommendations on type, etc?

My daughter (just turned 8) also never stops talking.😂 She was late to the game and had to have speech therapy but she has definitely made up for that lost time 😂 she’s definitely entertaining at times but sometimes a mama needs some quiet 🤐

I love this video!!! Such great info, and you're showing every step.
Adriana, what do you think about using a micromotor instead of a flex shaft tool? I have a flex shaft, but I find that the tension on the shaft really fatigues my arm, shoulders, and particularly my hands. I've heard micromotors are really the better tool.
What micromotor would you recommend? I love Pepe Tools and GRS. Which brand/model would you/did you choose - IF you have one? I want one but am not sure which is the best one to buy for the right price. Thanks for all your amazing help. Wow, your channel is REALLY growing. 🌺

I need to get my hands on a micromotor to really know the difference, BUT, if there is something lighter out there for every day work I’d take it! 🎉 I’d love to also extend the life of my Foredom and not make it do every little thing. I’ll have to do some research and see what I can get and get you a good review 💜💜💜💜
