I'm glad that when lockdown started I started to take care of my mind and body. I wake up early in the morning and go for run and come back home and meditate and eat fruits for breakfast and then lunch. I have totally skipped dinner in case I feel hungry I have soup and sleep early. I have decided to do this for rest of my life.
I lost weight automatically during lockdown (17kg) due to myself finally being able to take care of myself and being able to take the time to prepare healthy food and go for a walk and do things that make me happy such as reading or gardening.
Not if you keep gaining weight because of hormonal problems.... I hardly eat unhealthy food. My diet is completely healthy and I'm physically active too. But I'm obese. Not everybody is on the same boat....
@@varshaphal Open your mind and dig deeper. Hormonal issues are also a result of dosha imbalances. You can heal. We are not all the same for sure, but when something is not working properly in the body it is something internally or externally we are exposing ourselves to that needs to be address...its all connected, never working alone.

It's amazing what the resemblance between what Sadhguru is saying and what's happened to me in the last few years. First I started waking up at dawn and going to sleep when the sun went down. I only eat once a day in the morning around 11:00. I only eat fruits and vegetables I don't cook, meat and I've sweetly thrown out. Okay, if it's fish, I don't miss meat otherwise. And as for other needs, I live like a monastery. No newspapers, no TV, no sexual relations, only me and my spirit are around me. And I enjoy in this amazing world fullness with Life! 🙏

I love Sadhguru’s idea at 11:15 of taking public transport 10km away without a phone or wallet, so you *have* to walk back. I used to be very active before the pandemic because I enjoyed being purposefully active, like walking to commitments, but my motivation is low to do lockdown-approved exercise-for-the-sake-of-exercise even though I know I should adapt. I’m trying to think how to implement his radical idea though - in my city, single-use tickets aren’t allowed any more & you must have a minimum amount of credit on your travel card, that would always allow for travel back. We’re also now required to use our smartphones to ‘check in’ on all public transport to allow for rapid & comprehensive contact tracing. Ideas welcome! 🙏🏻
When you get to old age you will realise that emptying the bladder as often as possible is a very good idea ! 😉 Sadhguru is still quite a young man. Not yet 70.
@@2004ron Sadhguru is a great personality and charismatic person with some wonderful advice regarding yoga and being present, avoiding negativity, quieting the mind and detatchment etc. However (!) When he delves into other areas like diet, health, and especially science i.e. geology, physics, biology etc he is often wildly wrong. In this case his advice could actually be dangerous. It is certainly anecdotal and against medical advice. He often takes the 'one size fits all' approach. Not usually a good idea. His followers sadly believe every word he utters is straight from God or the Akashic record and so is always perfect and cannot ever be mistaken. Much as I enjoy his videos I worry about this.
A great talk, but like some of the other viewers below, I also find the music distracting and disturbing. What he says needs no accompaniment, best to leave his voice to be the only sound.

There has never been a time before when there was so much abundance of food and hence less effort and time required between an iota of hunger and processed food going into your mouth. Need to build resilience, will power and that I believe would come through being conscious and practice.
Sadhguru ‘s voice and messages is healing, the music is pleasurable. the music volume overcome’s his message and if the music were quieter and played the role of soft background music it would be more effective , when it is loud it competes with his message, just a suggestion, if I wanted a concert I would tune into one

Ok. I started loosing weight when I confronted my real reasons for eating. Comfort. Fear Boredom Habit I asked my body why is was carrying the weight. I felt like I was going to starve. XD like I if I didn't eat it all it would be forever gone. You need to look at your emotional state and mental state and that will reflect in your physical state.
