The flashlight has a temp control stepdown from turbo mode , usually at room temp and holding it in hands it gets warm very fast and it steps down from turbo mode 6000lumens at about 40-60 secs , for curiosity reasons only , i test the flashlight at low temps , i put it in a beer fridge at about zero celcious to cool down about 20 minutes and i turned it on with the flashlight in the fridge near to fan blower , WOW it last almost 10 minutes in turbo mode (9min 30sec) before it gets hot, but then if it steps down to low mode although it was cold enough at about 3 minutes it locks to low mode for about 15 minutes before the battery indicator turns green again (like a timer) and use it again in all higher modes ... its a good flashlight for cold-very cold climates but if you live in a hot one just don't buy it , it let you in the dark(or lowest mode) very easily if you count on turbo mode !!! if you use it at standard low-mid-high mode it works perfectly but is not 6000lumens in high mode is about 2000-2500 lumens ,not bad, not great !!!
Can yo do a comparrison with the M20 and GT60 ..I use the GT 60 and for the most part love it...but I want to know if its worth upgrading to the M20 ?....
I believe the lense is polycarbonate but its from china so it might be something of less quality, where my high end flashlight uses sapphire that is able to withstand high temp from long run times and is very very scratch resistant i had dropped my light hundreds of times in the many years ive had it and it has virtually no scratches whatsoever. It was interesting watching your video but for someone that is not familiar with the different types of flashlights and what people are looking for when buying one you did a pretty good job i would say.
