My coil went bad on my at max and I sent it and my detector to Garrett. Just one week and I got everything back cleaned up with a new coil and coil cover. Also new batteries. I am impressed, thanks Garrett. Oh yeah chigg, I am impressed with you and your videos also. :)
John Robertson @Aquachigger Uh yeah Garret, my whole detector and all the little thingys that went with it fell down a black hole. Please send my new stuff to 1234 Main St, Anywhere, USA PLease and thank you 😉
This was a fun little hunt. When I dug the button, it broke open and it looks like there may be a fingerprint on the inside. What do you think? I look for native American artifacts mainly. One of my favorite pieces is a simple pottery shard which has extraordinarily clear fingerprints of the maker in it. Of the thousands of shards I've found, only this one piece has perfectly preserved fingerprints.
😃 That's fantastic! I was on "early man" habitation dig, and one of us found a bit of clay daub from a hut that had been burned. It had a fingerprint fired into the clay - how awesome. It really made you feel like you were shaking hands with the past. Fantastic find.
The fact that there is a fingerprint from the maker of that button is so exciting! My mind rambles wondering who it was, what kind of life they live and so many other questions. Such a personalized piece of history!!
Thanx Chigg..... definitely needed that one.... Great to see you nailing it on a Civil War Camp again......... The finger print was EXCELLENT..... see ya on the next
NYS button, J-hooks, dropped bullets, Shield nickel... that's a successful dig if I've ever seen one! I know you'll be back there searching for belt buckles!
Of course if the camera is going to cough it, it will be on a coin spill...ha ha ha...thanks for another fun hunt Chigg. Glad you found a few good things, proof of Civil War activity. That gold coin is waiting for you out there somewhere, along with all of its silver companions. Have a great day!
I went to the big yard sale in Tennessee and bought 3 buttons for four dollars and I have that new York button in mint condition. I think that was the one someone was selling on the Internet for 65 dollars in mint condition. Really cool to see one dug up.
As Always another Great Video My Friend. I have been watching you for a few years and when I started watching you had 3 or 4 Thousand subs and I don't pay much attention BUT JUST NOW I about FELL OUT OF MY CHAIR ...You are Knocking'em Dead! Keep them Coming Love it
Glad to see this hunt was more productive than your east coast hunt from several nights ago. BTW, I can't find a j-hook to save my life and you find three in one spot. Ive only ever found one and that was in G-ville
Hey, thanks for sharing your adventures and your excitement at cool historic finds. And thanks also for refraining from yelling “Dude! Duuuuuuude! Oh my god!” when you find something. :)
Nice find.s...i went looking the woods for a old house thats on the 1858 map but no luck ill go back tomorrow and look till i find it..hopefully..cheer.s ron
Chigg, Wow! A really great job, I really enjoyed this video. An unreal job of super efficient digging and vlogging. NO way I could do that, my video would have been 2 hours long. I've been watching you for many years and have been a big, big fan, I remember when you hit 100K subscribers, thinking that is incredible. But lately I have been finding some of your more recent videos a bit slow or too long. I look for 20-25 minute videos because... that's all I have time for. I dug my 9th axe head this week, trying to catch you!
I know you have found out by now, but that "shield nickel" is a V-nickel!! None the less, you look like you had some fun out there in the woods!! HH and GL
I don't see a fingerprint Chigg, but there is print on it. Perhaps from a book?(Would they have to get paper from any source they could?) I adjusted the brightness/contrast of a screenshot. There is a little girl's face and maybe her clothing. I can't tell what the rest of the design is.
Its awesome to see such an old fingerprint it gives you a personal connection to the past. I would also say its a good thing go pro is not a sponsor.. lol
Hi. Just started watching your channel. Not sure how I stumbled across it , but I really like seeing what you find. Im curious...Why do you find so much melted lead?
Awesome video chigg!! Exciting finds! Currently about to get an AT pro or Max in a couple weeks to upgrade from my ace400. Hunting for civil war artifacts is a dream of mine! No battles here in MN but got plenty of mid-late 1800s artifacts. Would love to dig with you something! If your ever in Minnesota message me I got some amazing permission on old native sites and ghost towns! Digging with you would make my year! Haha
I haven't tuned into your channel recently and really didn't know you were making metal detector videos. Looks like a gotta hit that bell so I can stay up to date
Thanks for all your great adventures and cool finds! I'm looking in to a back up for my AT MAX. Curious in the Nox 800 & Xp orx have you any experience with either ?
Hay chig I am thinking of buying an at max online is there any place you would recommend to purchase this are used to metal detect 25 years ago but that was with a whites
So interesting. Thank you for sharing. Have you ever seen CUSTER'S LAST STAND BATTLEFIELD DETECTIVES by Bob Daugherty on UA-cam (also History Channel)? Interesting how metal detectors can change history.
Hey Chigg, I know you're a fan of the Garrett A/T Pro, and I love watching your videos, you've actually inspired me to begin metal detecting, but I have a question for you. What is your sincere opinion of the Nokta Makro Anfibio? I have been eyeballing the Anfibio, and need some tips from the pro!
Could you possibly clarify something, please, Beau? How did they get the name "Mini Balls" when they actually have a point? Thanks in advance - I hope!
I assume this is very much like fishing since it requires great skills in patience, but I NEVER find anything like coins in the woods. I'm wondering how long it took to find that? In my region I can find an arrowhead a day but I can't find the new stuff.
Shame it’s kind of a beat spot towards the end but a bigger shame our eyes don’t have x-ray vision for the ground. I’m betting there are still quite a bit of relics there just based off the amount of knapsack hooks you found.
My coil went bad on my at max and I sent it and my detector to Garrett. Just one week and I got everything back cleaned up with a new coil and coil cover. Also new batteries. I am impressed, thanks Garrett. Oh yeah chigg, I am impressed with you and your videos also. :)
Thanks, glad to hear Garrett treated you right.
John Robertson good to know. Thanks for sharing this.

John Robertson Never had a problem with Garrett so that adds up. Good to hear 👍

@@CatalinaThePirate I agree. It really connects you with the past in a way l can't really define.
I have a early 1800's hand made brick that was fired with a dog footprint in it. Came from a cabin in Paris, Tennessee.
The fact that there is a fingerprint from the maker of that button is so exciting! My mind rambles wondering who it was, what kind of life they live and so many other questions. Such a personalized piece of history!!
"I live in reality, not a fantasy world" 😂
That's my Chigg
What
? What do you think of the minelab equinox 800 compared to the AT Max, also what are your settings again and what reading for bullets
The finger print Chigg...that has to be exceptionally rare. Find of the day right there!
Right with you on smashing the glass and leaving it behind.
Really neat finds - well done Beau - lovely to see the button like that!
I sure do love watching your videos I live in a very historic part of the country myself in Upstate New York Revolutionary War..
Another great video. Happy Hunting.
Love the fingerprint!!!! Nice button Chigg👍
Thanx Chigg..... definitely needed that one.... Great to see you nailing it on a Civil War Camp again.........
The finger print was EXCELLENT..... see ya on the next
That finger print find was absolutely the best find of this hunt!
Good little finds great thumb print 👍
Wow a finger print
NYS button, J-hooks, dropped bullets, Shield nickel... that's a successful dig if I've ever seen one! I know you'll be back there searching for belt buckles!
That looks like dream soil to dig through.
Well done Chigg!👍👍

good finds the day they're young man You stay blessed and I'll see you on your next one
Chigg, I really enjoy your videos and especially when you show the VDI of some of your targets. I love my AT Max!
I went to the big yard sale in Tennessee and bought 3 buttons for four dollars and I have that new York button in mint condition. I think that was the one someone was selling on the Internet for 65 dollars in mint condition. Really cool to see one dug up.
Some amazing finds. The finger print in the glue is my favorite.
Dinner with the Chigg!
Definitely a little girl's face in the paper insert. I wonder what the original picture was. Good hunt Chigg.
Wow that finger print was really kool.
We’re always ready Chigg
Great video Chigg
Nice button Chigg

Hey man thank you for the video I really enjoyed this one
Hello friend, I drink coffee and watch 💪👍
Absolutely love these chig vids!
Thanks
The fingerprint is awesome!! I have a stone ink that I dug during DIV 14 on Coles Hill that has a fingerprint print in the glaze.
Glad to see this hunt was more productive than your east coast hunt from several nights ago. BTW, I can't find a j-hook to save my life and you find three in one spot. Ive only ever found one and that was in G-ville
That button is the coolest find of 2020.
Hey, thanks for sharing your adventures and your excitement at cool historic finds. And thanks also for refraining from yelling “Dude! Duuuuuuude! Oh my god!” when you find something. :)
"what is THATTT" is so much more endearing lol
Cool relics! J hooks are awesome!! Thanks for the adventure 👍🏻 HH🎧⛏
Nice find.s...i went looking the woods for a old house thats on the 1858 map but no luck ill go back tomorrow and look till i find it..hopefully..cheer.s ron

Just like spending time with the Chigg! Don't care if you find anything x
Awesome find
CHIGG POWERS ACTVATE ITS GOING BE GOOD NIGHT again

Yep it's some type of print/stamp. Amazing it survived so long!
Great finds just, to get in the woods for awhile has to be nice.
Any opinion on the minelab equinox 800 verses the Garrett AT max? Looking mostly for civil war artifacts and pre 1960 coins from mid Missouri
Hi from the uk chigg 🙋♀️🇬🇧
Hi
@@aquachigger thanks for the many hours of entertainment. I love the channel.
Nice hunt Mate..

First time posting. This stuff is good!
I really enjoy your videos. I especially like your Mother Earth theme music. 👏👍👏👍
Sometimes I find myself singing your theme song 🎶😃🎶😃🎶😃🎶
In a couple of hundred years some guy with a you tube channel will be complaining that you found all the modern coins before he had a chance. Haha.
I haven't tuned into your channel recently and really didn't know you were making metal detector videos. Looks like a gotta hit that bell so I can stay up to date
Chig, I've asked this before, and never got an answer. What do you do for ticks? Prevention, etc. Would make a cool video segment.
Thanks for all your great adventures and cool finds! I'm looking in to a back up for my AT MAX. Curious in the Nox 800 & Xp orx have you any experience with either ?
that New York button is cool!!!!! can I ask what coil were you using in this video?
A deer hunter will be walking through the woods where you were digging and see all that disturbed dirt and think he hit the deer mega load 😂😂😂😂
Hope you get your camera sorted...I did a whole days digging, filmed the lot...only to find it never recorded..😥😥
Great finds bud..👊
Next time, bring a leaf rake. Found a copper rivet with leather from some horse tack. Whoopee.
Roll on the day when cars and vehicles are all electric. There won’t be that traffic noise. Bliss.
I really like your videos
15:17 You had me going for a millisecond. Thought you were gonna say it was confederate and not accidentally say “concivil war” haha
Everybody is having trouble with go pro cameras lately be safe out there and GOD BLESS you and your family Amen 🙏
How do you like that coil Chigg? Would love to hear your thoughts on it. I’m itching for a purchase of something I “need”.
Hay chig I am thinking of buying an at max online is there any place you would recommend to purchase this are used to metal detect 25 years ago but that was with a whites
Nice video! What state do you mostly metal detect? Or what state are you from? Ive wondered for a while when i watched a lot of your videos!
That's obviously a camp, but it's odd the funds were confined to such a small area. Perhaps other relics covered over during highway construction.
HEY CHIG YOU THINK YOU COULD DO VIDEO OF YOU USING THE ATPRO SHOWING HOW YOU SET IT UP 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
should of brought a rake! :)
"These always come out in terrible shape" continues to rub it with gritty gloves lol
I don't think that's a fingerprint. It looks like some type of print reused for the button
Chigg you ever get on the Cumberland Plateau in Tn around Putnam or Overton co give me a holler I know a couple old house places that we can go detect
That highway is atrocious but it probably means good stuff to be found.
Bet he'll be headed back soon to this place
So interesting. Thank you for sharing. Have you ever seen CUSTER'S LAST STAND BATTLEFIELD DETECTIVES by Bob Daugherty on UA-cam (also History Channel)? Interesting how metal detectors can change history.
Hey Chigg, I know you're a fan of the Garrett A/T Pro, and I love watching your videos, you've actually inspired me to begin metal detecting, but I have a question for you. What is your sincere opinion of the Nokta Makro Anfibio? I have been eyeballing the Anfibio, and need some tips from the pro!
If it was the best he be using it Instead he's fairly serious about metal detecting.
Looks like they were maybe making those paper inserts from old patterned paper, wallpaper?
For sure, you must have found a cannon by now.
A fingerprint from the last human to have touched that item in over 200 years, the hairs on my head stood up...
Shame it’s kind of a beat spot towards the end but a bigger shame our eyes don’t have x-ray vision for the ground. I’m betting there are still quite a bit of relics there just based off the amount of knapsack hooks you found.
what's with the small coils lately?
Is the paper watermarked. I thought I saw a face
What kind of detector do you use?
