  • Please note that I have no idea who captured this originally. I found this in an EBS Test Complication and I believe the original upload source of this test no longer exists.
A test of the Emergency Broadcast System from WHME-TV, a religious independent station in South Bend, Indiana. Judging by what the Lost Media Wiki says, I’m gonna assume this test dates to around the early 1990s.
For some reason, this test reminds me of one of those Hazard Triangles you'd see on the road. It also reminds me of the intro to the North Carolina EBS Training video, which if you have seen, you'll remember they had a similar looking intro to the slide seen here.

This looks similar to WGRZ 2 Buffalo’s EBS Test from 1994. Do you have that one that was once on UA-cam over a decade ago? Among the other lost ones to user Christian Lipinski seen was from WDIV from 1979 that was up around 2009-ish and quickly got removed and WSPA 7 in Spartanburg was on UA-cam in 2008.

No, don’t have any of them sadly. Fortunately, they’re all from Top 50 markets, so they could always be rediscovered by someone else. Any idea when these stations usually aired their tests?
