I just did 😅this painting. It came out pretty good. What I like best about this vid is when you have a close up of Steve. He has such a lovable face. Thanks as always Frann from Florida
g,day Ian cobber i,m a 57 yr old pom never painted before in my life and found your channel a few days ago . Watched a fair few of your vids and they have inspired me to give it ago , got to say thanks for bringing the aussie sunshine to my little part of England . The mrs as been painting a few weeks now and she is as hooked to your channel as i am lol , so please keep up the great work your doing mate and thanks again for your great videos . Thanks Ivan
I like this picture a lot, although it is titled for beginners, and as one I find the dry brushing technique quite challenging, but effective. Thank you for sharing your skills with us, those of us that are deaf or hard of hearing would find a list of colours in your description very useful, I didn't recognise some of them you were using. If there is any chance of short but descriptive subtitles that would also be useful. Many thanks again for sharing your talent
there is a tab at the bottom of the video you can turn on subtitles so you can read what i say, i have the color of the paints named at the beginning credits of the video for views ti write down, cheers
I can`t find the list of the colours, and the other contribute you have being using for this painting . Could you please be so kind and let us know. thanks', cheers Dina
Have a question: I have acrylic gloss not acrylic glaze. Will the gloss give the same effect as the glaze? Or are these the same thing? This can wait til the next q&a, thank you guru
Your canvases always look so smooth, but mine even after priming them are not. Do you use a special kind of canvas? I use the regular stretched canvas and maybe that’s part of my problem! I did do the moon tree painting on a canvas board and that came up beautiful! I’ve been painting for ten years and blended different ways and it has always been my downfall! But I’ll keep at it! Thanks for replying!
nice one Ian. love how you did the reflection. Clever. Where did you get the sponge thing from. i tried to make one but it's not a nice shape like yours. Thanks for the tutorial
Gentile pittore. Purtroppo non comprendo ciò che dici, io conosco solo la lingua italiana. Per favore, oltre a fare vedere i colori, puoi scrivere il nome ? GRAZIE
If I could keep up with Ian, I would teach. Lol You are so right! I'm glad I can pause and go back. I love Ian's mixing. I'm and learning!!! WooooHoooooooooo!!!
Nice one for learning techniques.....but as the full moon always stands opposite to the sun, it cannot rise above the sunset. Artistic licence gets us to surreal places!
