I may not be of Hawaiian descent but my heart and soul are there. I'm now a 60-year-old man, and I cry every single day for not being able to go back home. I lived 16 years on Oahu. My three children were born at Kapiʻolani Medical Center. My late wife's ashes are in ocean at Waikīkī. She was a renown scientist, and she worked at UH Mānoa (Cancer Center). She passed away in 2013. My kids and I miss our home so much. We miss our people.
There is NO PLACE in this entire world as Hawaii. The people, the air, the sea, the smells, the land, the ALOHA. NO PLACE. MY heart will be there forever even if I no longer can be. Aloha Nui for what you have added to my heart in this life ❤️
Every time I hear his voice I shed tears for the loss of this man a singer taken from us before his time. I hope he rest in peace and his memory last an eternity. In my opinion he is still one of the greatest singers this earth has had. The live for IZ will never die, never.

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole will live in the hearts of all of us who hear him. He was an icon in the 1990's when I lived in Kaimuki and Waikiki. My heart still lives in the joy and Aloha best captured by Buddhah Iz. I will be looking for you, Iz, on the other side. I tink you'll come skinny! Respect from a haoli brother. le brother.
Love the scenery and how it looks as if it's live cam. The ocean and surfers, the beach and watching the movement with this beautiful music makes me feel like I'm in Hawaii.

Aloha to the beautiful navies of Hawaii. Was there for a short layover in 1968. Rented a car and saw as much of the island as possible in 1 day. Beautiful 😍 place. Too bad to many rich people went there and destroyed the islands. But I guess this is what rich people do. 😢. Aloha from the beautiful state of alabama.
