Hullo Emily, I enjoyed this video so much ! Thanks for sharing this lovely bird painting. It is not often a real-time painting is shared here on UA-cam! Thanks!
Great video as always Emily! can u share what kind of watercolor palette u are using? thanks..the little watercolor book is cute too..I wonder if it s100% cotton..it does not say online- thanks!
I just painted robin maybe a month ago because my daughter adores robins. Mine turned out more like a book illustration and yours is much more realistic. Both beautiful ❤
Yesss, my dear, thanks a lot for showing such slowly, details of this painting!!!!! I really appreciate, because I can follow u and try to paint by pausing!!!! Oh, I love it.!!! But can u also specify the brushes numbers. That's my difficult.!!!!! ❤!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
So cute and informative. Good tips about having hard lines as well as 'lost edges' and avoiding the 'cauliflower' effect with the dampness level of your brush. Thank you! I had to get a couple of those sweet sketchbooks (using your link).
My goodness, Emily. The amount of tips and how they can be applied to other subjects is incredible… If only you could be in my mind talking me thru every thing I attempt to paint. 🤣 I think i just came up w an idea for AI developers to consider implementing.
i was scared/tense watching i felt like i was doing it 😅 and the finished result is gorgeous .ive tried twice painting a robin both rubbish 😂 so now i hope to get a better result watching your great tutorial! thank you
Bravo, Emily! One of my greatest inspirations has long been David Allen Sibley (of the Sibley Guide to Birds). His facility with watercolors to accurately portray thousands of bird species boggles the mind...but you so beautifully and dexterously demonstrate how such magic can be achieved. Thank you!
Wow, thank you Gregory! I don’t think that my paintings come close to David Allen Sibley’s, but that’s very kind of you! It was a delight conversing with you last night! 💕
what a gorgeous tutorial, I love it ☺☺

It's beautiful, but.......
It’s a European Robin.
