Thank you so much for sharing your hard earned knowledge . I have been making my own thinbles for over 20 years, and yet still learned a few new things from this video. . Awesome !!
I've made side plates, front & rear sights, nose caps and other pieces. Thank you for sharing this video. I'm starting another flintlock rifle and plan to never buy another ramrod pipe again. Haha. Have a good Thanksgiving sir.

Clay, that little filing jig is pure genius...I know what I'll be making in the shop this weekend! Thanks for making these videos, and sharing tips like this with us.
Thanks for watching. I started out doing leatherwork as well as guns. Even got into tin and copper smithing. Don't be afraid to branch out. It's all fun.
You are one week too late 😂😂 The pipes for my swivel breech rifle are done since last week . I like your nice ideas a lot ..... and with a outstanding final result 👍👍 but you changed the music at the beginning . The other one makes me open a nice beer 😉
Thanks for the comment. Sorry I was late for your project. 😏 Changed the intro music due to a few comments I got but I may go back to the polka one. I liked it better.
@@grumpygunsmithofwilliamsburg the polka one remembers me on our summer village party just before my garden door..... grilled sausage and draft beer 😛 maybe this summer we got better luck with the corona stuff
