I second lowering the engine. I run mine prop shaft 2.25” below the V on my starflite. Seems to like it. 67 with an old 200xp 3 blade raker, 10” setback.

You should change the lower unit to a torquemaster and lower the engine a little bit. Can ensure you it will ride much better.

Sport master is better suited…..but the excess trim and high rpm will kill any lower lol

Put on a lifevest and get your self a foot trottle man and also put rubber bands around the motor to prevent it from jumping up alle the time.
