The old version was faster and better And The look was beautiful
When advertising looks great your connected options, but we want the app to be good for navigation in a car. And unfortunately, the developers lost understanding of what we need for navigation when driving. The older Here we go app version was near perfect and most liked. When the newly updated version map is small, text print is small and does not zoom in to reed when zoom in the map, for sure need optional text size adjustment (as Map factor do). The assist area is so big and bright that distract when driving, especially at the night, and do not have optional hiding from the screen or set on the map or for small icons. And unfortunately can't keep the older version on, as just when connecting to the internet get a makeover and all maps and waypoints gone, you need to start from the old download all again. In general the new version is not worth the previous half of that.
New features are OK 👌 but the older version was waaaaaaaaaay better. It's a shame coz Here (old version) was the best offline map app. I used it for a trip over 450km and it was flawless.
I'm using this in Mexico and it's great.

HERE we go went from being one the best GPS for android to one of the worst. It's barely usable now it constantly crashes, and is very unreliable. Half the time it fails to find even nearby addresses. Whatever you were trying to do with the new version it failed. BRING back the old version!
I can't download offline maps
Your experiment failed. Bring back the old version.
Android 12 head unit. It did have Here WeGo on it (2.0.12491) but after an accidental device reset it has lost it maps, and maps refuse to download.
Trying to re-install the app says the app isnt compatible with my device !!
It should still run on Android 12 right ?
Does anybody knows if it's possible in one way or another to import my data from Google MyMaps to Here? I'd like to import a KML or KMZ file but ie doesn't seem possible. I'd hate to have to create collections and save the locations one by one all over again in the app.
here go work with car companies to implement this map in their car in electric cars it is common to get a car company own user interface instead of android auto or apple car play so colab with car company they can add this map in there UI for more use of it and reachablity
After using Here for many years (since Windows phone) and many trips I have finally uninstalled it. I hate the new version and since I can no longer use the old version with my current android version I guess it's finally time to move on, which is a big shame. The new version has so much crap on screen that there is no room left for the actual map. In landscape mode, it's now relegated to a tiny portion of the bottom right of the screen. The old version was great! A nice big map that allowed you to clearly see a map of your surroundings and path ahead, while tucking in all your information to the bottom of the screen and was actually customizable, instead we now get big clumsy bubbles. And every new update more of them are added to screen.
here we go app is leading me on to a closed road. I should take turn few kilometeres before what Here we go suggest, but even then it still trying to take me back on to the same closed point. How to edit my rout so I can point which way should I drive ?

The old app was way much better on routing and displaying the map.
The new one lacks of 3D, routing is strange, approach maneuver start to twist the map.
Good thing that I kept the old one APK so I can use it.
Need to update this and make the map faster so when you start a direction it doesn’t a little bit before it starts
