Apparently he doesn't know how to fight despite the fact that he beat the crap out of actual trained soldiers and lieutenants? Most of the enemies Nate fought were former war-hardened soldiers themselves but sure go off that bullshit narrative.

Besides, he still learned to fight under Sully's (former Navy) tutelage and became an adept fighter thanks to experience and taking on countless trained mercenaries and agents throughout his life.
