Good sharing. Interested on SAPA. Agree with you that don't just spend time on town area. BTW, how long time you spent or how difficult for the trekking sapa mountain route? I think I am okay bout not sure other family members can or not
Trekking is not difficult, even though my knees are weaker now. But ground is very slippery and uneven. Must buy a walking stick for support. I've seen many old folks completed 1 day trek. Must get tour guide. Recommended to do 2day1night with homestay.
Should be sunny but the mist come and go. It's unpredictable. If you stay for more days in Sapa, then you have higher chance of hitting a good weather. Have fun.
Hi, may I know what time did you start and end the trekking? Do we have to trek 3 hours to go up and another 3 hours down? Also, will there be any toilet stops along the way?
Trekking mostly starts at 8-9am. From my video, you can see there's one stop for break and washroom, before I reached village town for lunch. My trekking ended at about 2-3pm.
Looks like you really enjoyed it.Did you use the rain boots? I am going to visit Lao Chai and other villages in January. Pretty sure, I will not find my size (US 13) rain boots there. So, thinking now, if I need to bring my own with me.
I went in end Oct. Suppose to be lowest precipitation but I still met very light drizzle. It becomes very foggy and I was forced to cancel 2 days trekking and changed to 1 day. Watch my 1st video and you'll understand. 😀
Here's a fair warning, our Hmong people were built different (broad and sturdy) when it comes to trekking. Being tall might be a disadvantage for you because of the hill climbs. Just look at your tour guide, she trekked with ease in her flip flops. LOL.
Don't need PM sir! 😆 Her contact is inside my description as I attested her service quality. I've told her not to change her number if she wants to benefit from online mktg. And no, I don't collect commission. :)
We came across your video, came to SaPa and asked La to take us hiking for two days.
Awesome video, I just watched from Maine USA 🇺🇸 headed to SAPA next month.
I'm sure you'll have fun! I have wanted to revisit to complete my overnight village stay.
Rindu SAPA 😁 hope can visit again soon ☺️
Local told me VN is building airport at Lao Cai. That will make visit to Sapa even easier.
Nice Video
Thank you for encouragement.
what month was this trip?

How much do you pay the local guide per person? Interested in her
1.2mil VND for private tour (me alone). It's in my Sapa part 1 video, do take a look.
How do you get the service of the local guide for trekking?

No, I didn't as the ground was wet but not with thick mud. January will be cold and misty too. But have fun.
Hi I'm very curious what month did you go to Sapa? Was it November or December? Did it rain? Thank you for your response

Hope they recycle the bamboo stick , it's not friendly keep on cutting down bamboo .
That's very true. Lesson learned. Next time I'll get a trekking stick.
