Thank you bhai. For two days I had been installing xampp + wordpress with bitnami and kept messing up my sql table and passwords. I uninstalled everything and did a fresh install by following your instructions, and it was a breeze. You're the best. Love from Pakistan.

Thanks for this video. I viewed it when it was first published and it inspired me to local host my commerical WP site and try things out there first of all. I then tried Gutenberg Beta so was up and running by the time it went live. I used MAMP, but it is essentially the same. I'd advise everyone publishing a WP site to go local. If I've got 20 mins to spare, I have a play. I've made a few mistakes, but without damaging the site, nor my credibility. I do annual upgrades/changes to my site (about 12-15 months apart) and I try out new layouts, themes and such. I also try new plugins.
My advice is to give it a go. I now have all three of my sites on local host. It's great fun.
