He forgetting to Mention that Danny got him out of a Madien Claiming race, and was able to improve the Gelding to get him on the Derby Trail . A wicked Accomplishment for any Trainer. . Bert is rite about Remsen , Empire Maker finishe 3/4 of a length from winning Derby! Was ESKENDRAYA IN REMSON? From a visual perspective, really like "Nysos" and "Timberlake". Love their long strides which work out in the K.D. I am with J.K. on the speed factor in this over entry race. These horses that would qualify in May are allowance horses-quality that would be beating each other if you put them in races. This 2024 KD would eventually downgraded into a Grade 2 race.
I think you better go back and look at that form: multiple G1 winners in behind him, most notably Good Magic and Vino Rosso. Hard to say a BC Classic winner "didn't amount to anything," imo.
