- Diamond Head was supposedly epic this morning 2ft+ with glassy conditions and a fresh new SSW swell. But stuck at work, had to wait until lunch break to document it, by that time the wind was changing. Then the drone started to fly away on it's own, over the ocean for the second time! Luckily had enough control over it to emergency land on the ground. Behind the scenes stuff, enjoy the video. 🤙🏽

Diamondhead has been FIRING these last few weeks. Such nice glassy conditions. Just got out today (19th) for 30 minutes before sunset and that storm on north shore made the winds rip offshore. Looks so beautiful from the air too.
I know, every morning is has been nice and then onshore by afternoon 🌊

Lived on Oahu back about 1991(Costco wasn't even there yet) and used to surf Diamond Head frequently...fun times!
Must have been so nice, my husband lived in Oahu in 91, he said it's so different today

what drone do you use? I love your videos.
They don't want to reveal their "secret weapon" to us but I think it's a Mini 3 because I saw it and then they posted a video the next day of that surf session
...Oh yeah, sorry we can't reveal that until after Winter season, sorry but the drone scene in Hawaii is extremely competitive 😬

@@EricLBrownWriter Just look on instagram, it's crazy! And filming at Pipeline, we're happy if our drone doesn't collide into another drone a fall into the ocean because everyone is trying to get those clips. This year will be worse than last year with drone traffic at Pipe for sure 😬

A question for all lady surfers, when you swim in the ocean everyday, what is your hair cleaning routine due to the salt? I was in Greece for three months last year and loved being in the water but i landed up washing my hair everyday cause of the saltiness. Please let me know and thank you :D
Rinse only for most days. Wash every 2-3 days.

Aloha Stasia I rinse off my hair every time I go to the ocean, I wash my hair once a day after the evening surf session. I apply oil by PURE FIJI which the organic products company that I really like. You may apply some protections for your hair before you enter the ocean, and needs to be reef friendly products then your hair is going to be damage free 💓
