- Timothée Chalamet and director David Michôd chatted with Access Hollywood about his role as young King Henry V in Netflix's upcoming release "The King." The 23-year-old Oscar nominee gushed about the role and revealed how he got into fighting shape for the epic medieval drama. "Oh man, if I didn't train, I'd still be in the hospital," Timothée joked. "There was a big physicality portion to it. There was trying to get good on horseback and with the swords and with the various instruments at play." Plus, he also spilled details on his pivotal scene in the film with real-life girlfriend Lily-Rose Depp!

It was actually kind of funny seeing him be serious for so long when you see how much of a dork he is in interviews

Watched this film for the first time last night and actually had to watch the scene with Lily Rose 3 more times because it was so powerful and she did such a brilliant job of portraying this, calm, wordly French Princess telling him l like it is. I think the film is absolutely brilliant. The cast are perfect and the cinematography beautiful. Timothee is so mesmerising. David Michod's films Animal Kingdom and The Rover (which also stars Rob Pattinson) really stay with you long after you have finished watching them and so will The King.
"So powerful" yet so anachronistic and nonsensical if you actually think about what would happen between two people in those times.
The director Michôd seems very impressed by how eloquent Timothée answered the questions.
He seems impressed by him - period. Many people who have worked with him are. I wonder what he's really like in private.
Timothee is one of the greatest actors of our time. And his beauty (inside and outside) is beyond explanation. I absolutely LOVE him!

No, they are promoting the film and trying to make it a dumbed down as possible so many people would go to watch it. So, the journalist was doing her job

The few women portrayed in this film all seemed authentic. There was another scene with King Henry’s “sister” where she spoke truth to him and that was way before Catherine. The hostess too.

lilothee is so fucking cute i can't- but to be honest i cringe so much when they mention lily around him, because he seriously does not know how to handle it. i pity when they ask..i can't be mad at the interviewer, she made the question sound pretty professional, at least enough for him to be more comfortable answering compared to how other interviewers have gone about it, he just wasn't. lily handles it very gracefully
