I'm using Blink Cameras now. But sometimes people or things do not trigger motion detection. A Hundred dollars a year is way too expensive for Battery operated cameras. Does the camera system in video cost monthly as well?

But the picture quality is poor and I plugged in a 7th camera with original wires and it works great so I think it’s the wires he used.
@@MrEngineerReviews They advertise my FC200 as night vision but when I try to select it in the application it says the night mode is not supported and greyed out. Maybe it needs to be hooked to internet? Any ideas on a fix? Thanks again
@@joeslacker1020 No need for it to be hooked to the internet to work. It's probably greyed out due to it being color night vision instead of black and white.

Hi, I have a really similar set up to you. I'm having problems with my DVR re-booting itself constantly. Each time it re-boots I have to re-install from the beginning as a fresh set up like first time installation. Have you had any problems with the same or have any advice how to stop it from happening? I've contacted annke direct but they don't seem to understand my problems. Thanks
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I personally didn't experience those problems. It's possible there is corrupt software or inadequate power causing the reboot. Make sure you are using the correct plug for the DVR. Also you can try wiping the hard drive and looking to see if there are any firmware updates available for the cameras or DVR.
If you click the product link in the video description this model includes a 1 TB hard drive. There may be other options without the hard drive installed if you prefer that.

Thanks! The recording length is dependant on multiple factors like the resolution you set to record at, if you do time or motion based recording. It records all the cameras at once. With a 1 terabyte hard drive I tend to get about 2 months of recordings with my current settings.

The videos are stored on the hard drive of the DVR. To download the videos from there insert a flash drive into the USB port and export the files that you want.
The DVR should automatically record over the oldest footage, there is no reason to manually delete anything. If it's not recording check the recording schedule etc.
hello I have 8 cameras the same as yours .but only 2 is showing on the monitor .how do I set up the rest if you can help me the cameras lights are on but seeing picture.
That's weird, mine is a few years old and is working fine. Make sure it's getting proper ventilation and that it's on a surge protector. Try contacting the company to see if they can help you with a replacement.

Normally, come with un power cable, for 4 cameras, and if you have more than 4,should have 2 power cables.

There are no monthly fees and everything is stored locally on its hard drive.

The camera's don't have audio. I think you can add an additional IP camera and the DVR can record audio.
Can I go from camera to camera view on the main screen while all the other cameras are also on the screen in small windows?

It's standard cable so you can use any brand and it should work fine.
