Wow Tommy! A few years ago I really wasn't into Iwagumi layouts. I started appreciating them over time, might be because of your builds on the Green Aqua channel, Adam Pasczela and the Brazillian style. I really like this one, however I wouldn't call it simple. Maybe for the plants but not for the hardscape, that's advanced in my book! Keep on making Iwagumi's please, you've got a real talent for them. Kind regards from the Netherlands!
i personally liked the layout a lot it is fundamentally simple but i think overall turns out to be very impactful and dramatic. great work as always tommy. and loved the final cinematic shots.
It would be awesome to see other Green Aqua staff members scape some tanks. Even if they are not very experienced, I think it would be enjoyable to watch and learn :)
I really like it. It’s classic ADA style, but it’s also Green Aqua’s take on the iwagumi layout. Also, It’s important (in my opinion) to have tanks in the showroom that are ambitious but still attainable for all kinds of hobbyists.
Tommy, good job as always. For me it's beautiful. Remember that haters gonna hate. 😅✌️ I think that you (Green Aqua) have reached the peak with your works (hardscapes) and now it is difficult to beat what has already been created with another work in the show room. In my opinion simplicity and returning to the roots of nature aquarium (like Nature Aquarium Gallery) is the way you should go. 🙂✌️
Beautiful scape. Elegant and dramatic. I like the protruding rock. It makes you feel as though it is in motion. This scape has an undeniable energy to it. Even with few stems, it is impossible to call this scape static.
The green plants and all the shadows from the hardscape really make this tank look nice! I prefer this style of Iwagumi rather than only a few stones! There’s much more to look at in this scape
Tommy, don't worry about other's opinion! You did a great job as you can read all the comments! I never made iwagumi scape before -I m more into the jungle, stone wood hardscapes, - but your works are really good. You did show us, even you are an expert of iwagumi scape, how difficult it is, put the "simple" hardscape together it can be challenging. Great hardscape! Congrats 👏
Love it! Back when I was a newbie in aquascaping, I never really liked iwagumi layouts. They were too simple for my taste, but now it's my favorite and I've learnt to appreciate simplicity and the details. Thanks to Tommy, your designs have immensely helped foster my interest for Iwagumis. How much stone in kilograms does it usually take for creating a high impact iwagumi in a 60p tank?
I really love this scape. Especially the drama created by the rocks that point straight at the viewer. To me it's not aggressive, it's captivating. I also appreciate the choice of fish. They add a nice sense of movement but still feel as if they're part of the scape instead of just living in it.
I really like it! Getting back to roots is the new thing now. I enjoy the simple layouts more than the complex to be honest. Al green too! Love it. I recently did a nano all green. I’m really enjoying it.
What do you think about the new layout? I love it! - Viktor :)
Isnt much...? It's good to grow over and drimm in months.. It's like a two face
I like it..
Like it but but He forgot what to do!
Love from Bangladesh
I would not call it simple for sure! 😁
Awesome 💚
Its super nice
Tommy is starting to plant like a true ADA scaper... by using up all the store's plants, of course! 🤣🤣
Takashi Amano would be proud of your Iwagumi. This style will make a comeback and win the world ADA Nature Aquarium Contest once again! Go IWAGUMI !!!

love the colour of the rocks contrasting the green plants! All green looks natural

I'm not a big fan of the Iwagumi layout, but I loved this one ♥️
Simple but we love it!
8:18 Not a mess of Stones. This would be an amazing naked stone aquarium. ;) Thx Tommy for this endeavour.
Love it, 100 pots, that's not a cheap tank even before the stones!
Yeah, you don't need to plant this heavily though.
Te quedo genial simple, pero chulo, saludos
