Laini Taylor is by far my favorite author! I like the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy more than Strange the Dreamer, but I love both in that duology as well ❤
I love Strange the Dreamer! I read the series when it came out and I never really loved the original covers, so I just splurged on special edition versions, and they are so pretty that I'm planning on rereading them this year LOL.
I was in the book business for over 25 years and accumulated so many books and bookshelves. But as I have gotten older I do not need to buy so many anymore. I used the library and recently checked out Funny Farm and I am enjoying that based on its repeated appearance in your videos. Thank you.
I got so nerd-happy when I saw The Four Winds! I hope you like it too! And I feel ya on not buying as much. I told myself to read everything I bought last year first.😆
Love this haul!! Your book videos make my day. I've read Strange the Dreamer and it felt almost like modern classic - the journey reminded me of Lord of the Rings somehow, even though they aren't that similar on paper.
I save I think nearly all of these to my Goodreads 🤣 I wondered if you had read the paper magician series? It's 3 main books and a side book and I enjoyed the concept!

Words of Radiance is soo good, best one in the series by far in my opinion! I have a huge book buying problem as well, I actually have no more room but I can't stop buying them. Also your hair looks fab~
Long books scare me so much, even though the story within it seems to be soooo tempting, like 1100 pages?? Yeah I'm scared for my life but at the same time a part of me is saying, "Let's do this!!!" Also do you take breaks while reading a series which is complete or do you finish it in one go???
