When I was baptized as a 50 day old baby, it was done on my behalf by my parents. In the certificate of baptism it noted my parents made a promise to teach me to love God. They kept that promise. I love God.

I too was baptized as a baby. But that wasn't MY choice, it was my Mother's choice. She was Catholic and my Father was Church of Christ. When I got older I left the catholic church and God impressed on me to be baptized because it was my choice, so I did. My life changed!

In Christianity we follow-through gospel story and the teaching of the messiah who we believe is Jesus. We believe sin is a big problem in this world and is the cause of death. Through Jesus and faith and baptism we believe that we are saved from our sins and have grace and peace with God through the shed blood of Jesus. We believe sin causes separation from God and can lead to hell without the saving power if the blood of Jesus.

I trusted Christ as Savior in 1989, but still had PTSD from Junior high, had big spiritual attacks over several years then which made it worse, but this year am finally feeling free and healed from all the trauma.
