Rattle is spiralling mentally, it just can’t be healthy trying to be the internet police focussed on so much negativity 24/7. He can disagree with you but the way he does it in those clips is ridiculous lol. I mean, sure rattle is right about a lot, but let’s be honest, his channel is all about farming drama in pokemon of all places. It doesn’t matter how right he is on things. I have not been a fan of Rattle since he went after PTCG Radio and then double-downed when called out. He is very childish. His voice is also very annoying and he talks for way too long.

It depends where he was staying. The LA Convention Center isn't in a bad area. It's walking distance from the Staples Center (I will not call it by its new name) and there's a lot to do there.

Rattle comes off as a big bully, to be honest. I've supported him and his channel over the years, but there's no denying he doesn’t always fact-check. I live on the other side of the planet, but when he has spoken about "wrongdoings" closer to home, I've seen he goes on tangents or assumptions about things he doesn’t really know anything about.

I've never really been a fan of Rattle's methods, while he usually goes after the right people that deserve to be called out, it seems like borderline harassment sometimes.
I've come to the conclusion that Rattle is just a low-rent Internet bully.To make his bullying more palatable to the Pokémon community, he focuses on bullying scammers and grifters, or more accurately, people he decides are scammers and grifters. He gets it wrong. Look no further than this dust up with fellow UA-camr Ptcgradio/Jonathan Ross. Rattle was completely in the wrong, yet refused to apologize to Jonathan.
I just learned about TAG Grading recently, they seem like a really solid grading company and looking forward to seeing them grow in the market share. Definitely gonna support them on my next grading order.

spot on with the graded cards take, it's all about money with a lot of people, very few people seem to care about accurate grades and slab quality.

Great content as always. I had no ideal the Japanese market wasn’t doing well. I wonder if it will turn around in the coming years. And how the pokemon market for collectors will be affected.
Not a lot of people are donating to Rattle's defense fund. As of this afternoon, his GoFundMe has raised $5,305 Canadian dollars on 131 donations. That works out to be $3,938.75 US dollars. I'm not sure he even hired a lawyer since he seems to be doing all the paperwork himself. Based on the legal disclaimer he wrote, writing his own court documents is a terrible idea.

Good info video. With the market slump, do you feel the secondary market “for singles in Japan” will also suffer? Just starting out with Wix and a store but we only sell singles no sealed product. Mostly Japanese. Just wondering tour two cents and what you here from your people.

@@pokene_pokemon Yea the whole japanese market is taking a big hit, for an example 2 months ago getting a sar charizard from 151 from japan was around the 90 to 110 range now they are constantly selling in the 65 to 75 range. and that is on 151.
The best time to invest in sealed Pokémon products is during times like this, when there is “almost” a fire sale. It’s no difference than investing in the financial markets now, as a possible recession may occur, or at least a soft landing. As the situation recovers, then scaling out on the upward movement is were wealth building happens. Please send some Shiny to The Great White North! Your prices are good, even with the conversion rate.

I'm not super into the pokemon market, but I'm into the one piece market. I watch you because I feel like I'm learning things to look out for or some information you give out will correlate with one piece if it's not one piece related directly. That said, I definitely will never watch rattle. One of the reasons I really enjoy your content is due to how well you present your information. The other dude just screams f-bombs and slurs, while offering nothing of substance. On the note of graded cards.. I was getting ready to send in a bunch of my stuff to PSA, but I'm strongly considering AGS or TAG. I don't like the idea of a person grading my cards vs. a machine that has been programmed to spot any flaws on a consistent basis.

Saying rattle had it coming is like saying a girl has it coming for wearing revealing clothing. Even Coffeezilla has gotten sued. Its impossible to avoid getting fucked with at some point if you run a channel that exposes people. Rattle does a huge service. You can't say any card grading is superior unless you have graded over 10K cards which I doubt you have done with any small grading card company. You have no sample size to prove what you are saying. Ignore this nub.
CGC willingly grades altered cards and PSA graded a card with a literal d*** drawn on it. All 3 give a vastly different grade every time an identical card is sent to them and there is a literal policy collectors follow known as “buy the card, not the grade” I don’t need a sample size to know how bananas all of that is.
Not to mention, the fact that “regrading” a card with the big 3 is something we’ve normalized shows how QA has gone out the window - along with our regard for it as customers.
