Hello all, this is my build review of Takom Panther A Mid/late version. I originally built the kit when it first came out back in 2018. Enjoy and thanks for watching!!!!
I bought this full interior Takom kit a few years ago. I was so excited when I got this kit. It started off well then went down hill after that. There were numerous fit issues and like this video, the upper hull was warped and eventually gave up on this kit.
I recently purchased this kit after salivating over it for months. Once I got past the base lower hull it was downhill from there. So I'm watching this video for second time to see where my mistakes were. Like most modelers I hate fighting to get parts to fit, so I boxed it up and moved on to Borders Tiger I Kursk. 😫🤬Says it all.
Atleast you admit it was dumb beat way to move in n be a better modeller haha! I'm building the new RFM stug full interior just now! It's a very nice box is packed! They have the stug 4 out soon with full interior aswell but have to say I found there tiger 1 I done was like that with the top of the Hull not fitting great but the second tiger kit I done basically the same kit different box no problem so might have just been something stupid just sitting to high with mine! The takom Bergepanther kit is really nice and the meng one I've built both think it's my favourite kit ever! So nice to build! I want this kit myself you build its from the panzer museum they have the Real one just there's have a notek lamp on the front which it weird
@@williamhudacsek5462 Thank you so much. I have been a bit lazy and just a lil tired when i come home from work. You know how it is. I do have 2 projects, 1 already filmed and another in production, but I am so super slow. But no worries, one will be posted soon, hopefully by the end of next week or sooner. Thanks for watching Will
Thank you so much. I appreciate it. I dont have time to make videos right now because life keeps getting in the way. lol, but hopefully sometime sooner than later.
Great-looking Panther! I'm still not sure if the zimmerit application was 100% kit or whether you added to it, but it totally makes the build! Excellent technique throughout, well done!
When AMPS shows were in Harvre DeGrace in the 90’ and up to the show in Ohio at the private collection museum, you participated correct.? I was always there got a few bronze silver and 1 Or 2 golds back in the day… was a big customer of Baseline in Mineola.. you too I presume?
Thanks for commenting Chris. No, never been to an AMPS show but used to go to the shows at Freeport, Replicon and Mosquitocon. Baseline, Ace and Wilson"s Hobby stores were my favorites.
I have finished shooting a new project, but I haven't found the time or desire to edit it. lol. Hopefully I will get around to publishing something this summer. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Glad to see a modeler from the northeast. From Boston Rick who’s now retired and lives in Florida.
Thank you so much! Enjoy your retirement!
