Hullo Robin, I love it when you wax philosophical! I am reminded of my Art History instructor and their class discussions after their presentations. They would spend most of the hour on slid shows of famous paintings or artists, then ask a provocative question and let the fireworks begin! The only wrong question was the one left un-asked! The only wrong answer was the one that was un-challlenged!
I admire your dedication to your craft of painting and self introspection. Thank you for always stretching your mind so your viewers can do the same. It is easy to see why your artistic endeavors are so well balanced and thought out too! I just want to say Thank You. Please take care of yourself and remember that your a truly a beacon of light and hope for so many and this is a very good thing.

Great video. The message is on point. I'm building a backlog for my channel currently. It's scary to not post but I have to trust my heart and have faith.
This was well researched and your personal insights were well aligned. Pilahuk. 🙏🏼

Robin you rock, I'm so annoying I have like 6 unfinished great starts, oh well your way of getting style at the end of understanding thats what everyone is doing whether they are being authentic or not.
I hope you're doing great, sky blue! And an art haul in a few days.... Authenticity is key for me, there are just too many voices in this life. Be blessed my friend.

I don't know language.... I meant to say your way of wording it is on my mind now.... You don't say (at least not often) what all new style would suit me. You roll up your sleeves and be authentic

I think life experiences def helps an artist find a voice, age helps too since we tend to get more comfortable with what we do as a get older or experience A LOT of life😝

8:00 real, I kept falling into that trap on instagram. It stopped when I finally left that old account and made a new one, this time with more intention & focus on the kind of art I actually want to make. Even now it's hard, but I'm trying to spend less time online.
Awesome video! I love the paintbrush microphone😂❤

It's not you that's off, it's the training. Learn different, more aligned to your way of understanding so your perspective and understanding can grow.
So you can find and learn what you don't know. Learning is not just doing the same thing over and over, hoping to get better. Skills can be learned.
