A really effective way I’ve found to deal with my fearful avoidant “girlfriend” is to simply mirror 🪞 her behavior right back to her. Then when she acts surprised I ask her how does it make her feel when I match her energy… She immediately becomes self reflective because I force her to empathize by seeing that’s not a cool way to act. It’s not easy, BUT ITS WORKING SO FAR
