As a fan of the MCU, I would highly recommend watching all the movies. If you decide to go that route, and rewatch from the beginning of the MCU, the best way to do it is in movie release order. Release order is the best way to understand what's going on because the plot of the MCU builds upon each movie that came before it and they all tie into one another as a connected universe.
It's definitely not the best way to watch it... In release order you have movies with characters that you already seen pass away, and which biggest plots you already know... That takes away any real reaction because you know how it ends.
Just in case no one mentioned it- if you are doing the Marvel movies (in release order please) don't forget to watch the credits til the end, because there are often multiple mid and post credit scenes that you don't want to miss.
The 'not a land rover' you asked about is a customized 1971 Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer 710 K. I'm seeing auctions on them going for around $20-25k. Looks like it *could* be pretty beastly for off-roading, if tricked out right! ^_^
Do the MCU in release order. It will make sense. Start at the beginning even though the iron man’s will be rewatched. iron Man 1, Incredible Hulk, iron man 2, (Thor would normally go here), Captain America 1, Avengers 1. At this point, you’ll see the advantages of watching in release order. Whatever you do, DO NOT just decide to watch Thor 1, Thor 2, Thor 3 and then Thor 4, as that is skipping a bunch of other stuff and things from other movies would be spoiled. That’d be like skipping to episodes 3,7,14 and 19 in a 22 episode season of TV, then going back to watch the other MCU “episodes”
yes! re-watch in the MCU movie release timeline order. You'll appreciate the continuity and how everything all comes together so well. (except for Hulk movie lol)
There are many elements of The Incredible Hulk that are connected to the rest of the MCU... and... at least up until the release of The Eternals it was also hands down the most underrated MCU movie. but... at least for starters... the film introduces the MCU version of Hulk (who, though played later by a different actor, is still a major character throughout the rest of the MCU), it introduces General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (who would have major roles in Captain America: Civil War and Black Widow, as well as cameos in numerous other films, and is set to be one of the primary protagonists of the Thunderbolts film currently scheduled for 2025), it introduces Emil Blonsky aka the Abomination (who shows up again in a prominent role in the She-Hulk Disney + series, in addition to having a cameo in Shang-Chi), and it introduces the character of Dr. Samuel Sterns (who will go on to become the Marvel villain The Leader, rumored to be the chief antagonist of the upcoming Captain America: New World Order). There is also, of course, a Stan Lee cameo, and a mid/post-credits scene that features Tony Stark which is referenced later in the series of Marvel One Shot shorts, and scenes from the film are also referenced in Marvel's What If...? So... it's bizarre that people keep talking about this film as if it is somehow disconnected from the rest of MCU continuity. It's not. At all. Just because Universal still has distribution rights to the Hulk and it's not on Disney + in all territories doesn't mean anything. It's still very much an MCU film. Made by Marvel Studios. Produced by Kevin Feige. And a fine one, at that.
@@piotrswat169 the CGI for Marvel's 2008 offerings Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk was good enough for the time... and, though obviously not as sophisticated as what we see done these days, has held up pretty damn well IMO, given that these early films had significantly more modest budgets.
If you're making your way through the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you should totally watch them all in release order. Definitely the best way to get all of the context as they can get pretty interconnected, and most of them are hits. And they (almost) all have after credits scenes too, just a heads up.
With you being on the spectrum the best way to consume this is in release order it's 28 movies that tell one long story and they all have post credit scenes at move the story. Even though you have already seen Iron Man I would just start from the beginning so you won't be lost.
I really enjoyed the reaction. I read Thor comics as a kid and I think they did a very good job bringing him to life. It could have gone very badly wrong (Thor speaks in cod-Shakespearean dialogue in the comics, has a cape, is a Norse God, flies around with a hammer called Mjiolner etc.) but they struck a good balance between drama and humour. BUT - I recommend watching the Marvel films in order, as they tie in together. Also - WATCH THE CREDITS TO THE END! -You missed a major plot point that ties in to The Avengers.

You need to start with Iron Man 1 and do all 19 in release order. You could start with Hulk starring Edward Norton first if you want. The stories and characters and relationships build so well until after Endgame.
It would be cool to see you watch - in order - up to the last Avengers movie: Avengers Endgame. The Incredible Hulk movie would be cool to see you react to as well. It didn't do too well in the box office if I'm remembering correctly, but I've always loved The Hulk as a hero in the Marvel universe and I think the version from 2008 was the best we got. There is one from 2003, I think the year was, that was fun and very comic booky but i didn't care for that ones story overall.
Loki and Thor are 1500 years old. Odin isn't a good guy he's a villain who does heroic things Odin's been a villain for millennia and got tired of it. Odin didn't have a heart that he fell into the Odin's sleep where he recharge his power he has to do this once a year and he was putting it off because of Thor's crowning to King status and possible war with the frost Giants. Thor with he's physical strength has the ability to lift the empire State building power level wise he could destroy the entire city of New York. Loki isn't as physically strong as Thor but equal in raw power. Physically Loki is at least twice Captain America strength but loki does have telekinesis which can lift a skyscraper. Loki half dozen of different powers including shape-shifting illusion projection matter manipulation and blinking Which if a form of teleportation but more limited.
Mjolnir is made form the metal uru, in the comics it's way way more powerful, it had to be toned way down for the movies cause it's one of the most powerful artifacts in marvel
I know people want their comic accurate power scaling but it honestly hampers the ability to tell a plausible story. Its been a long standing problem for Superman movies, for example.
You can of course find a list pretty easily, but for Phase 1: -Iron Man -Incredible Hulk -Iron Man 2 -Thor -Captain America: The First Avenger -Avengers Assemble
So this movie came out after Iron Man 2 (2010). The next Thor story told happens before the events that make up Thor 2 (2013). The next movie with Thor to be released was The Avengers (2012); a story involving among others Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and Captain America. Most people think the best way to appreciate these stories is in order of release. Equate it to chapters of a book to this really long story that takes a little over a decades worth of movies to tell. The last story is the movie End Game (2019). However I've always felt that the movie Black Widow (2021) is sort of a post scriptum. It depicts events that occurred before Infinity War (2018), however it was done almost as an afterthought. In truth it was used as a springboard platform for other franchise spinoffs, but regardless the story itself, the acting, the whole presentation is awesome and completes the set very nicely. If you choose to watch them all, the next one is Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). As per usual, I very much enjoy your work. Don't forget to check all Marvel movies for post credit scenes. They are generally quick teasers for characters and stories to come. Some films have more than one post credit scene so you always have to check so not to miss anything. Till the next one...
part of me wants him to do the MCU in order. but at the same time I am not sure he'd enjoy like 50% of them. then again if he just does the movies in random order he's going to miss out on so much context.
You should watch all MCU movies in order And stop hurting Loki man, he's such a traumatising character... HIGHLY recommending to watch Loki series after all MCU movies cause maaaan Loki is the BEST written character and show in the end! What a fenomenal journey for him!!
Pretty sure he worked as a photographer before he started YT. Or something along those lines. That's why he knows so much about equipment and just stuff in general about film/cinema/photographing
hey i thought i would mention this, the vids are shaded allot, very hard to see, but only cause it overlays bright lights in the bg, it may be possible toposition it a way so the lights are above or tot he side of the vid box. maybe its all on purpose i unno,i know the faded vid box is for copy right issues for sure.
FYI after most/99% of the Marvel movies there are end credit scenes. those can be pretty important to watch. I would recommend watching those. its usually after some of the end credits. its usually some spoilers/hints about whats to come in the next movie or the other Marvel movie to come.. Highly recommend you watching those.
There are so many people making the same comment. Did you guys even watch the video?? 0:47 he says he already watched all of the movies prior to this one. edit: i mean.. effectively. If you skip iron man 3 you are still gonna understand endgame for example lol It's so many movies, that a lot of people have seen when they were a kid.. even though the memories aren't fresh.
Yes there is an order to watch these movies in. You can watch all the Thor movies in order but you will miss alot if you dont watch the other marvel movies that came out in between the thor movies. Same with Ironman, Spiderman, Captain America and so on.. I would watch the marvel movies in order to not miss any of the stories then to watch all the Ironman in order then all the spiderman Movies in order. If you look up Marvel movies in order on the Internet there should be a list on how to watch them all. Its kinda lkke Starwars except you dont have to watch the 4th one first and crazy stuff like that. As long as you watch them in regular order as they were released then you should be fine.
This was the "Marvel Cinematic Universe", MCU for shorten, beginnings they were throwing all the can to try to kep going, and the did it. From Iron man to Avengers the did all the can to make ppl to go to watch them, and was a success. So Iron man, the incredible hulk, iron man 2, thor, captain america and the avengers (know as phase 1) was the "we have to catch your eyes, mind and all. Then you have some highs and downs, deppendig of what you expect.
You need to watch these in cinematic release order. I’d go back and rewatch iron man and go from there. Do not watch Thor 2 before the others or you will be completely lost. Also all marvel movies you need to watch post credit scenes
Yes, light pollution can hide the stars in the sky from being visible. However, you are only thinking from the perspective of Earth. Asgard as not on Earth. There is no reason that the light coming from galaxies around Asgard arent brighter and visible.
Directed by Kenneth Branagh, who I saw just a couple of weeks ago playing King Lear on a London stage. Great actor, great director. If you like his directing style, why not try his version of 'Murder On the Orient Express' from 2017? In my opinion it's not quite as good as the 1974 version but I still think it's a great film - especially if you don't know the story. Branagh brings a modern sensibility to a period piece - opinions vary on the wisdom of doing that.
If you’re starting the MCU this was an awful way to start it off 😒 You need to watch in the order they were released, starting with Iron Man from 2008, otherwise things won’t make sense later down the line. Don’t listen to anyone who says chronological order. Again, things will not make complete sense. And don’t forget that they all have scenes during and after the credits.
@skyewolf994 Not for first time viewers it’s not. It was released that way for a specific reason, so why would you not watch it that way? Would you watch season 6 of GoT before season 1? Obviously not.
Hawkeye quiver is on his back full of trick arrows, he started his career as an Olympic archer working in a circus decided to take a life of crime but someone talkes some since into him, the MCU will never give us a hawk eye origin movie
If you're only going to watch Thor, the second and fourth movies are a but weak but the third one is brilliant. Actually it'd be pretty fun if you only watched Thor and didn't try to be an mcu completion. (Although this movie directly leads into the avengers)
That four days thing is why thor changing to become a better person makes no sense. Also loki is basically Odin's son in the way of nurture. Odin is a plotting schemer, thor isn't he's more the bold part of odin. Both sons together equal odins personality

I know looking at all of this can be a little overwhelming but trust me its worth it. i watched most of these movies more then once... And I wasn't even the biggest Marvel guy to begin with.. But iv grown to love most of these movies. So sit back relax. Get some snacks and enjoy the ride. Enjoy!
In mythology, the gods got a giant to build the walls but at a steep price. Right before the giant finished loki turned into a horse and dustracted the giants horse and they went iff to fuck. In other words loki fucked a horse to let the asgardians get out of a contract on a technicality. Yet no mcu movie has referenced that myth. Sigh.
Question...do you think Loki was sincere at the end when he says "I could have done it...for all of us."? I don't think he was. His need to be "worthy" was more important than doing things for the good of the realm.
You always seem so super knowledgeable about everything... yet you're watching a film about Norse mythology, with portrayals of Odin, Thor, and Loki on screen.. and you're referring to them as "the father," "a man," and "the brother"... have we found an unusual blind spot in your knowledge repertoire? I used to obsess about mythology as a kid (and to a lesser extent, comic books as a teen) so all this stuff was pretty familiar to me.
Oddly enough, Thor is supposed to be 1500y'o... If my children is behaving like that at 25 I'd also believe he doesn't deserve a family nor a throne... If you watch the MCU do it in the chronical order, trust me,some projects were released out of order and it's kinda cringe and meaningless to watch 'em when you already know how's gonna end.(there's literally a movie (that I'm not saying the name) where there's a few villains who die,but years later a prequel where those same characters pretend to be good guys was released... It obviously takes away any impact if you watch it in release order.) So those who say "the release order" only want you to watch it as they did instead of as it is meant and how the story is better explained.
I lo e that we can watch you experince peak mcu kids today wont get the hype we had as teens getting out of class on friday to watch this just to talk about it for months!!!
Echoing the rest, if you're going to do the MCU, and I hope that you are, do them all, and do them in order of cinematic release, including Ironman and Black Panther as rewatches. Also, google says the van is a modified Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer, a European military vehicle. It's a great looking thing isn't it, bags of character.

Buddy. If you loved this film, you’ll want to watch the Marvel Cinematic Universe in release order. All of the films take place in the same universe.
Loki is the best character 👏🏼
part of me wants him to do the MCU in order. but at the same time I am not sure he'd enjoy like 50% of them. then again if he just does the movies in random order he's going to miss out on so much context.
You should watch the Marvel movies in release order for the best possible experience. Starting with Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, etc., etc.
You should watch all MCU movies in order
And stop hurting Loki man, he's such a traumatising character... HIGHLY recommending to watch Loki series after all MCU movies cause maaaan Loki is the BEST written character and show in the end! What a fenomenal journey for him!!
I'm always impressed by your insight as to how things are filmed and what equipment was used. Have you ever considered going into cinematography?
doesn't he work in the music video business or something? I think he's already in the industry doing something like that...
Pretty sure he worked as a photographer before he started YT. Or something along those lines. That's why he knows so much about equipment and just stuff in general about film/cinema/photographing
@@Danny_R_ Yeah, I looked him up after, which I probably should have just done to begin with, haha.
Yup, they really did build a small town in the desert for this one.
1971 Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer, customized. Vehicle Jane Foster was driving. Austrian vehicle
PLEEEEAAAASSSEEEE watch the entire MCU in order up to Endgame
hey i thought i would mention this, the vids are shaded allot, very hard to see, but only cause it overlays bright lights in the bg, it may be possible toposition it a way so the lights are above or tot he side of the vid box. maybe its all on purpose i unno,i know the faded vid box is for copy right issues for sure.
Solid Thor movie.
Kenneth Branagh, the director, is known for Shakespeare projects.
The Bifrost is a wormhole.
I think the vehicle in question is a Steyr-Daimler-Puch Pingauzer 710k
Watch them in chronological order!
The truck is a Pinzgauer Austrian equivalent to the Humvee.
I think it's the same set as used in Superman 2, just filled out a bit more and dressed for modern appearance. The layout and size is very similar.
Good one 👍
Directed by Kenneth Branagh, who I saw just a couple of weeks ago playing King Lear on a London stage. Great actor, great director.
If you like his directing style, why not try his version of 'Murder On the Orient Express' from 2017? In my opinion it's not quite as good as the 1974 version but I still think it's a great film - especially if you don't know the story. Branagh brings a modern sensibility to a period piece - opinions vary on the wisdom of doing that.
The various Marvel movies are connected so release order would be the best way to continue the story. Iron Man was the first.
"Blue animoprhics". Me, "Huh? What is that?"
Good movie
If you’re starting the MCU this was an awful way to start it off 😒
You need to watch in the order they were released, starting with Iron Man from 2008, otherwise things won’t make sense later down the line.
Don’t listen to anyone who says chronological order. Again, things will not make complete sense. And don’t forget that they all have scenes during and after the credits.
Could have been much worse, but yea
im just happy to see MCU starting , maybe he saw iron man and what not
@skyewolf994 Not for first time viewers it’s not. It was released that way for a specific reason, so why would you not watch it that way?
Would you watch season 6 of GoT before season 1? Obviously not.
He's already seen iron man and black panther
@@Ketchup_and_Mustard373People hear what they want to hear 😂😂.
MCU best in release order
Hawkeye quiver is on his back full of trick arrows, he started his career as an Olympic archer working in a circus decided to take a life of crime but someone talkes some since into him, the MCU will never give us a hawk eye origin movie
Hawkeye fans are kinda fanatic when it comes to dising hawk eye, hawk eye is actually deaf, but that's left out of the MCU
The staff Loki is using nelons to Odin.
If you're only going to watch Thor, the second and fourth movies are a but weak but the third one is brilliant. Actually it'd be pretty fun if you only watched Thor and didn't try to be an mcu completion.
(Although this movie directly leads into the avengers)
1:45... Watched this in 3D when it first came out, looked dope!!
\O>
That four days thing is why thor changing to become a better person makes no sense.
Also loki is basically Odin's son in the way of nurture. Odin is a plotting schemer, thor isn't he's more the bold part of odin. Both sons together equal odins personality
Yes plz MORE MCU an absolutely fantastic journey 👍👍👍but plz go back to the beginning with iron man 1

If you don't watch through until the end of the loki series... ima be sad. 😔😶😅 --- Seriously tho, it's a long road, but it's worth the trip.... hell, watch all 20 years' worth of marvel. It's got some 'eh' moments, but overall, it's worth the time. - plus, you get paid to do it. 😊
Order of release is likely best
Captain America the first avenger is the next one to watch followed by the avengers, that's the end of phase 1 of the MCU then gets a little odd
So i thought id make it a little easier for you if you are actually going to watch all the Marvel movies. ( id recommend watching the series aswell. there is alot of information lost if you just watch the movies and not the series as well)

Well buckle up because this is going to be a wild ride. I know looking at all of this can be a little overwhelming but trust me its worth it. i watched most of these movies more then once... And I wasn't even the biggest Marvel guy to begin with.. But iv grown to love most of these movies. So sit back relax. Get some snacks and enjoy the ride. Enjoy!
The weapon Loki uses in his fight against Thor is Gungnir, Odin's powerful spear. Loki isn't close to Thor's physical strength.
Please watch them all we beg of you
In mythology, the gods got a giant to build the walls but at a steep price. Right before the giant finished loki turned into a horse and dustracted the giants horse and they went iff to fuck.
In other words loki fucked a horse to let the asgardians get out of a contract on a technicality.
Yet no mcu movie has referenced that myth.
Sigh.
The MCU gives you content for at least a year or two
As awful as Loki is in this movie, my heart always breaks for him on "TELL ME!!!"
I like Thor and Loki best in the Avengers than in the Thor movies. The 2nd Thor is good too, but the others are really aimed for kids.
Shake your mothers hand, you've never shaken your mothers hand, your mother is also not Queen of the Nine realms.. There is decorum
Question...do you think Loki was sincere at the end when he says "I could have done it...for all of us."? I don't think he was. His need to be "worthy" was more important than doing things for the good of the realm.
Loki Lofison
The first 2 iron man movies are worth a rewatch before avengers
Do tou know that virtually all Marvel films have in-credit and/or after-credit scenes?
Just look up the mcu release order
Loki has to be mixed but with what because he has power outside of the frost giants and hes not related to his mother how does he have her magic
Thor 1,500 year old god of thunder with asguardian invulrability, weak to tazers
You missed the end credits scene.
Oh every movie has a stinger in them
Oddly enough, Thor is supposed to be 1500y'o...
It obviously takes away any impact if you watch it in release order.)
So those who say "the release order" only want you to watch it as they did instead of as it is meant and how the story is better explained.
