The young man is doing really great with his farming business. So nice he has camera to monitor his business within and outside Nigeria. He's right supervisor is just a great factor for the progress of ant business
This is a great interview, that further opens our eyes to the several business opportunities in the agricultural sector. And yes, he's right, as Nigerians, we import most of what we consume. This is as a result of our lack of visionary leaders who are production-centric; rather we have people who are only interested in being overly dependent on the crude oil, when we have fertile lands in abundance that are enough to grow what we eat and even export to bring in foreign exchange. 😢 Kudos to AFAB Farms, wishing the CEO more business successes in their operations. And thank you Danica, for bringing this to our screens.
Nigerians need to move away or change their mindset from instant gratification- which is the prevailing thinking; there must be some kind of paradigm shift towards delayed gratification towards investment - especially- I the agricultural sector of the economy.
I have always dreamed of doing this business of agriculture. By the grace of God, any time I return to Nigeria from Canada I will embark on agricultural activities. Especially livestock farming

Insecurity is real in Nigeria man, I can see your heavily armed security man behind. We all want to farm but for insecurity. Some of us can't afford security and that is the real problem. Let's be real
Afro think tank farms in Ekiti n doesn't have security guys. Bayo adio farms n no security. I think you should strategically locate your farm to avoid troubles
Please don't be discouraged. Affordable Security is highly reccomended just like any other business in Nig: Stores, Banks, supermarkets, private residence etc. Personal security is optional in Nig depending on your destination, either for respect, protection, VIP, reassuring your guest, especially being a lady from out of state. Normally, I don't wear native to farm nor go with escort. Our security cost is 30k per month. It's part of our cost of production. The final consumer pays for it. It's a business expenses & that's how it's done by successful investors/foreigners in Nig as well. Police station is also 2 to 3mins away from our farm. We don't have security issue. Ironically, I carry gun & pepper spray with me during business hours in my other business in Texas, USA. Most businesses & stores in Texas, USA, are heavily armed with guns. Why? Is it because of herdsmen? Bad govt? "Where there's money, there's always a challenge." Agricbusiness is very wide and not just farming. You can do it! Don't be discouraged! That's funny. There are no security men with AK 47.
