True, I've done more than 160 podcast episodes and I've done it all, social media, website, e-mail marketing, meetings, merch. To take a step back and only focus on the podcast itself.
Thanks for the content it’s amazing and helpful. In your opinion what is the best content scheduling tool to be used when scheduling content for Meta? 🤓
You're welcome! And I would recommend scheduling it in Meta directly. If you go to the business.meta.com website and login with your account you'll have access to their scheduling features.
This is gold. Thank you for always putting out quality content which is both educational and motivational! Y’all give me the confidence to just stop overthinking and go and do the thing! One question: I want my UA-cam channel to host my video podcast (long form), AND shorter talking head videos. Would Riverside be a good “one stop shop” to be able to record, edit, produce both the podcast and talking head videos? I’m wanting to consolidate all my content production into one place and there are so many options!
Glad this was helpful, and absolutely! Riverside is a great place to do both. And when you record your shorter talking head videos, you still get all the benefits of Magic Clips, our new editor, transcripts you can reuse and format into social media posts using ChatGPT, and more!
I think the anti-editing movement has a lot to do with some of the 'traditional' vloggers leaving the platform because it goes against everything they've been doing for the past decade, and they don't know how to do anything else.
How would you recommend managing bonus episode releases? I post a new episode on the 1st and 3rd Monday's on the month (as well as the fifth if there is one like this month) I'm thinking it would still be good to release on a Monday I don't have an episode planned for, but is there anything I should do more than that? Also, do you think it is ok to go on a little more unique and not as on topic as usual since it is extra, not part of the main lineup of episodes?
I actually release my bonus content on the same day as the normal episode, this way members or supporters can listen/watch together! And since it's bonus content, veering into other topics that outside the scope of the main episodes is great!
Even if a lot of these people leave or partially leave, there's still a lot of major fish out there that are going to stay. I don't really think this change is much of anything to be entirely honest.
This is a very valuable video. Taking a second to remind ourselves why we do this is a good way to reset our focus. Sometimes we get tunnel vision and stray from what we enjoy about the process.
To be honest, I'm getting sick of UA-cam. The algorithms that monitor content are starting to feel like robot overlords, and several of my favorite daily watches have left to go to Patreon, or other platforms, or have started their own website. Whatever it is that UA-cam is doing these days, it blows hippo ass.
@@Riversidefm Yes, but UA-cam constantly intimidating it's creators with arbitrary algorithms is going to be the death of UA-cam. They constantly suppress important discussions because it might upset someone.

Great plan, and would still share clips of that show everywhere!

Thank you. You packed so much valuable information into that video.
Appreciate that 🙏
Pretty cool. I'm headed to Riverside FM for sure!!! Thank you, great video! 😃
Appreciate that! And welcome to Riverside 😎

Also I'm hopeful that people are shifting toward more authentic, regular-pace talking head videos!

That's basically the gist of the video, and how it's a great time to start!

Did anyone end up here googling, “are UA-camrs the only content creators “
Oh really?? 🤔

Sorry you feel that way, but creating a community in Patreon, Circle, and RSS podcasting is also a great way to build an audience!

RUMBLE IS THE FUTURE AND PAYS BETTER
The platform has become intolerable with its ridiculous restrictions policies
Do you mean music, video content, or both?
Most of big influencers here in the Philippines also quitting UA-cam. To think they grow their IG following to millions with UA-cam 😅
interesting, where are they going?
@@Riversidefm their focus now is IG. I don't know if it is part of their strategy or simply they just want to leave UA-cam
