Have taken on the feedback, I'm hoping to really bring some new features this year that will push the game along (tamable wild horses on the island, more charity events, stories to play through and npc's to interact with). Just seeing my little game make your list though really brightened my day!

But Star Stable is a pay-to-play, the "free to level 5" and first area are a demo, not a full game. Anyway, thank you for showing those games, some I did not know about :o
Exactly. And if you buy Lifetime Star Rider it is no different to buying any other game for a one off payment. I bought it when it was 30% off but it's definitely worth it.
And the funny thing is, mobile has the potential to be really great for horse games because of the touch input. ETG is an excellent example of this (they manage a riding control system that is a little more complicated than push button to go, but not so complicated you can't pick it up and master it pretty quickly). There's also things like... brushing your horse by touching the screen vs moving a mouse cursor over it. Sometimes it's the little things. :)
DISCLAIMER: rival stars horse racing doesn't let you custom personal horses on mobile! So if you're looking for a game where you can make your personalized horse DON'T download it on mobile, the PC version let's you custom things though so it has more freedom, but it's not free
For anyone who is planning to get star rider in star stable: If you are going to be playing for over a year then get lifetime.! It is a big block but it’s cheaper in the long run However any less than a year and get monthly!
Oh my gosh, Chelsea, thanks so much for doing a video about mobile games! This is totally up my alley, and you found a couple I have not tried yet that I can add to my list! One to put on your radar, someone told me about a roblox game called Strideway that is supposed to be coming Feb - May of this year. I don't know too much about it yet but others are very excited for it. There appear to be a few horse games on roblox but I don't have specific recommendations yet, since I am completely new to the platform.
oh also, for Wildshade, I think I don't understand the monetization in the game, so I don't understand your comments on it. the horses I see in the shop for premium currency don't have any better stats than the ones I got for free from the campaign. the only thing I spent premium currency (earned through normal play instead of purchased) on was brushes to clean my horses, but I can't tell if that affects their performance? I just couldn't stand to let my horses get dirty :X it is very grindy to make it through the campaign (I am nowhere near close, but I'm not aggressively playing Wildshade--so many horse games, so little time!) I am probably missing something huge, but it seemed pretty easy to stay f2p, but lots and lots of grinding races to get regular currency for breeding and stable space. 🤷♀️ updates seem sparse/nonexistent (last version dated 6 months ago), less active than ETG
I have only ever play 2 good horse involved games which were rival stars and my all time favourite red dead redemption Rdr is not particularly a horse game but there is horses involved because its about cowboys, its on pc, ps, and Xbox
In regards to the pc version of rival stars, it does generally get the big updates the mobile has albiet much later down the line. Relatively recently the selle francais and arabian were added c: it takes longer, but its worth it to not feel gated out of progress by micro transactions and for the hours ive spent with the game the pay to play price feel fair. The graphics on pc are also insane
I use a samsung tablet some of the horse games are fun to watch but also a bitt sadness because i cant get some of the horse games you added on the list like star equestrian is not available on my phone😊
I really wanna play star equasiain or how name but it's laggy I couldn't play any game lags my phone and one time when I showed jump it lagged me down the map imma try agian later

Great list! Star Equestrian is also avalible on PC if you have some issues with lag.

The only one I play is Rival Stars Horse Racing (mobile/pc) prefer PC but still play mobile.
