I think max0r's voice just matured an insane amount in a short time. This vid was made two years ago
I think it’s more of a vocal performance kinda of decision. Which can come with maturity and a care for your craft.

3:14 I think I have beaten urizen as an underpowered Nero, but at that point, I was experienced. You can also do the same as Vergil, but it ends the same, it’s just a funny thought and thing to do knowing the context.

apparently max0r put a pinned comment on this video and many of the same comments for videos in the past prior to the 'control review' saying that these videos have subpar editing and voice-work,
i guess you're one of the rare reactors that notice how his voice sounds different compared to the max0r videos you watch previously

The combos aren't that difficult to learn. They do different things but they're the same for every weapon regardless of character. Y_Y_Y, Y_pause_Y_Y, Y_Y_pause_Y, Lock on forward and/or backwards Y. However Max Act and Perfect Judgement Cut do need to be mastered because they're all about timing.
its really not that hard to beat Urizen in begining. If you finished game once and know moveset for Nero, or played dmc 4.

Someone did a livestream where they played for hours just to show that you can beat urizen with no arms and no extra moves based Nero. I recommend this torment to nobody but the most thick headed determined players. Youre more likely to beat a single souls game as a first timer than attempt this.
