The Nothing Ear(2) has multipoint connectivity whereas the Airpods have kinda pseudo multipoint, working best between iOS devices. The Nothing should have gotten the point there.
I don’t typically use multipoint in my daily life. As such I didn’t feel the need to make a category about it without a lot of firsthand experience. Thanks for sharing, though. 👍🏼
Same with me, I have a pc and an iphone, i have to switch between the 2 all the time and I just simply need it. Airpods won’t do it only if I had a mac.
switching from airpods pro to nothing ear 2 as the former has a design flaw that makes it rattle and crackle when using anc or transparancy mode. Turns out that the problem is widespread and known by the manufacturer. It is replaced under the warranty. However, in my country I do not have authorised resellers to provide that service. At that price point that rattling noise should not be a widespread issue.

The number one thing I hate with AirPods is they can only connect to one source and when I get a call and I’m connected to my computer it doesn’t switch back.
I’m about to switch from AirPods pro 2 to nothing buds, since AirPods have way too many manufacturing flaws and it doesn’t reach battery’s runtime anywhere near promised
@@TopiKorhonen-i5i it'd be great if you could give me a quick review on what you think of them compared to the Airpods pro 2 since I'm not sure which one to get
How much bigger is the nothing ear buds case compared to airpods. It's a deal breaker if it's too big to fit in pocket. Especially since I typically wear jeans that are on the tighter side
One reason to pick up the nothing is that you hardly see anyone in the world with them and the one you see is mainly 35% while AirPods it’s Soo common, not to hate I do love AirPods but I want something different and people that don’t have
Nothing Ear 2 look good and sounds good on calls, BUT have the worst battery life I’ve ever experienced on Bluetooth earbuds. They go down to 30% within an hour of standard use without personalized noise cancelling. You have to put them back into the case. Not a glitch or defect, it’s part of its design. The Nothing forums are full of complaints with the company doing literally nothing to address them. Apple are the surer bet here.
I work in a really loud environment so I always have one AirPod with ANC on and one earplug in at all times. I recently lost my right AirPod so having to swap my AirPod for an earplug while it charges kinda sucks. Adaptive Transparency and ANC is probably the biggest deciding factor for me and most of the comparisons I’ve seen seem to state that Air Pods Pro clear it out of the water. Looks like I’m sticking with my pros 🫣🫣😮💨😮💨
Switched back to airpods because of the ecosystem. I like being able to switch automatically when I NEED it to while doing schoolwork across my macbook and ipad. Also still a bit puzzled with the audio quality comparison, I firmly stand behind that the airpods sound better
It's a different story if you have an android phone. I used to own the airpods pro 2 and had them paired to my S23. They would always get disconnected or a song would skip on its own. I never had that problem with my 13 Pro Max at the time.
I used to carry the latest big headphones plus the airpods for travel, but I realized the airpod pros are so food at anc that I could save a lot of space and weight by JUST having them. TBH the sound quality and anc is solid enough to where I never miss having the other big headphones, plus it's easier to sleep with them or lean your head on something
to be honest on the most critical category , nothing ear 2 won.. which is sound quality... u buy this to hear music or something.. and sound quality is better:)
Interesting, the one with poorer sound quality and higher price won. Let's say I have both, I would always recommend the one with a lower price if it has better sound quality. Your scoring system doesn't make sense because some aspects carry more weight than others while you put them on the same level. I regret wasting my comment and boosting a channel whose video makes no sense to me. In the end, I would still like to inform people better so that the community can progress better.
I've actually trimmed down my intro since this video. Mind taking a look at my recent uploads and see if they're more in line with what you're requesting? I appreciate the feedback!
They're too expensive here in Sweden. There was a special deal on Nothing Ear 2 for 90 bucks/euros so I ordered them and it's a 1/3 of the price compared to what I have to pay for Airpods pro 2. To me Ear 2 is a clear winner.
@@itstheBMAC In short it's uncomfortable, in long: eyes adjust to brightness. Imagine someone watching in a dark room. If you change the brightness suddenly, it's jarring because it forces your eyes to adjust really quickly. Then imagine several brightness changes in rapid succession like in this video.

It sounds like they are great but thr battery life sucking around a hour in is changing its score
Ehem! Android exists with its high-end codecs. Multipoint audio is a thing that works between iOS and Android. What about latency? Thanks. 😁
One thing to take into consideration though is that airpods lose a lot of functionality when not used with an iphone.
