There is nothing in the Thai market at the moment that would draw me away from my GSX-S as my daily. The harsh seat can be replaced cheaply with a gel seat but in any case my wife loves the GSX-R for rides out so I don't need to consider adventure tourers. You seem like the coolest dude and you also really know your stuff about a bunch of different bikes and manufacturers. For SOOO long I was totally enamoured with the MT-09 SP and was convinced it was the dream bike for me, but I had a rough year financially because of health issues. I started to consider cheaper options and the GSX-S seems like an unbelievable standout in that price range. I cannot believe how cheap they are, even BRAND NEW they cost $2k-$4k less than bikes in a similar category (naked sport bikes making well over 100HP), except for the base mt09 of course, which is only $9500 Every guy who talks about why they like them seems to think they are amazing and they can't go back to other bikes anymore after owning one. I gotta buy one of these soon. Seriously unbelievable performance for the price.5k

Having heard about your review on Suzuki 750s, I can say even Suzuki 250 which I own here in India feel the same. It just goes boom and inner me will be like calm down bro and don't be a Gixxer squid😅. Happy owning a smaller Suzuki and would like to explore higher cc Suzuki in the future.
@@whodat4265 I personally think the GSX-S750 can be a beginners bike . Even thought it can be fast if ridden aggressively on the throttle, it is also very balanced, maneuverable and easy to control. I would NOT recommend the gsxR750 or even 600 to a beginner
How can the R be more comfortable with the lean over riding position? i'm thinking about getting the S because of riding position, also i feel too old (57) for the R version.
The S would be better for you. The R takes its toll on the shoulders and wrists. But it is silky smooth. The S has a problem with the seats but next month I will purchase a gel seats and do a review. Hoping that the difference is significant. Anyways, the S is a lot of fun. I definitely recommend it.

It's weird but very true. The gsxr is silky, easy, comfortable. And the gsx-s is more coarse but easy to ride hard to its limits. I have a pal with the z900 and it's arguably better than the suzuki on paper and certainly has a lot of grunt. If pushing the bike to its limits is a high priority then the z900 and gsx-s are outright winners. Definitely hooligan bike's. But I can't stress this enough: the gsxr750 k6/k7 is probably still to this day one of the most accomplished all round race bikes ever made and it eats long journey miles for breakfast, even with a pillion. I still feel to this day that I will never part with my gsxr750 so she's for special rides strictly.

Depending on which year you buy and how you ride, you can expect anywhere from 37-57 MPG. If you are like most riders and take it easy half the time and let it rip the other half, you will probably get about 49mpg. Also, I dont know why you are comparing these bikes they are not even close to similar lol. Just because they have "7" in the name and are similarly priced doesn't mean they are the same sort of bike. The GSXS makes wayyyyy more power because it has 4cylinders instead of 2cylinders. Also, the suspension on the GSXS is way better than the mt07. The MT07 has notoriously bad front suspension.

I have a '20 GSX-S750 and until recently had a '11Gixxer 600 so I know exactly what you mean. Love both bikes for different reasons.
People say it’s possible to start on a 600 so can I start on a gsxs 750

Without a doubt the blue bike is much more special. The black bike is great for hooligan fun daily, but blue is in a different league completely
