EDIT ( 10-9-17 ) For the best possible sound, it is highly recommended to keep the ANC off. With ANC on full intensity (Plane Mode) or medium (City Mode), the sound takes a noticeable hit in favor of noise isolation. There is a (Office Mode) which has the lightest noise cancelling, but leaves the sound very slightly altered from no ANC. I personally use (Office Mode) ANC when in noisy environments because it still blocks out a good amount of low frequency external noise while offering possibly the best sounding audio from a wireless headphone that's easily superior to my Sony WH-1000Xm2 and Bose QC35 II.
Hey there, I've tried (and returned) almost every ANC set on the market because I bought them for use on long bus rides to work. The busses I take go on gravel roads out to industrial sites so there is usually constant rattling and banging. Because of these jarring sounds, the ANC always pulsates and generally ruins the sound quality. How would you say these would do in that respect? The P7 Wireless are my all time favourite for non-ANC headphones so to have basically the same model, with ANC options, seems appealing but can't justify the purchase until I know a bit better what you think.
These are very impervious to sudden jarring movements that could definitely disrupt the ANC. That's one trait of the PX that I do love. The Bose QC35 is also pretty good and avoiding this too. One of my other favs; the WH-1000Xm2 suffers from this problem.
Watching this review with my new PX headphones. Yes, I'm the guy who watches reviews after I buy a thing. Excellent review. Had to pause to check and see if the airplanes were in the review, or irl. Lol
I have both headphones, the Sony 1000mx3 and the B&W PX. SOUND: However, I intend to say that B&W has a more intense bass, and Sony has a more BOOOMMM bass! Did I make myself understand? After listening a techno music at high volume, the results in my head were different: With the Sony 1000mx3 I kept my head vibrating. With the B&W PX I got my head to echo inside! The B&W PX bass comes in inside the head, and the Sony 1000mx3 vibrates the outside of the head. Different results for different tastes. I prefer the Bass of the B&W PX, more real and penetrating, like a punch in the head. Sony sounds a little artificial (comparing with the B&W PX) In addition, the B&W PX volume is higher. When it reaches the volume limit on the Sony 1000mx3, the B&W still has another 20% to add. Without a doubt, the sound of the B&W PX is superior, more defined and more elegant. I say this without any tendency, because I bought both. Do not forget the following: B&W is a company dedicated exclusively to sound, equipping high-end cars like Ferrari, BMW's etc. Sony produces a wide variety of things, from mobile phones to microwaves. B&W is a lady of sound quality, because she dedicates himself exclusively to this. COMFORT: With regard to comfort, the Sony 1000mx3 are more comfortable, nor giving almost by the presence of them in the head. 👍👍👍 However, while the B&W PXs are less comfortable, the ears stay free inside the earpiece, being cooler and not causing perspiration. The Sony 1000mx3 ears do not have space inside the headphones, and make them perspire on hotter days. Unsustainable in summer days, much less to walk down the street on sunny days. 👎 The quality of construction is top notch in the B&W PX. All in aluminum, and genuine leather. It costs € 400 in Europe but pays for the elegance and quality of construction. 👍 The Sony 1000mx3 is all in plastic and synthetic skin. In Europe costs € 380, but it seems that we are buying plastic.👎 However the Sony are lighter and therefore more comfortable. 👍 NOISE CANCELLATION: The Sony 1000mx3 has a perfect noise cancellation, it looks like you put your head inside a vacuum chamber. Perfect! 👍👍👍 The B&W PX though reasonable in noise cancellation, but are far from the Sony 1000mx3. Android/ Apple APPLICATION: With respect to the Android application to control the headphones, the Sony is perfect, as well as the indicator sounds in your own language. The B&W PX are just beeps. 👎👎👎 The B&W PX application only serves to control the level of noise reduction (which is best to keep it OFF), and to control the system to pause the music when you remove the B&W PX from your ears (which works at 80%). The app for B&W PX is terribly basic 👎👎👎 CONCLUSION? Comparing these headphones to a women, I would say: That the Sony are that kind of woman, very devoted to home and children, but a little less beautiful and more chubby. The B&W PX is that a elegant woman, very pretty, but untidy woman at home. So, if you prefer the ugly and dedicated woman at home, you will always look at the beautiful woman. If you prefer the elegant and beautiful woman, you go and wash your dishes at home. You choose. 😁😁😎 I prefer the B&W PX, although I know it does not have all those features that would do it great. I'm more of a fan of B&W PX's aesthetic and sound elegance. If you choose B&W PX you will make a good choice, but sacrificing some aspects of the Sony 1000mx3 that would make music even more enjoyable. If you buy Sony, you're just one more who bought a headset for €350. If you buy B & W, whoever watches you knows that you like not just music but sound quality. Some of the "business" websites that do the comparatives, seem to give 100% preference to Sony, but gave me the impression of sponsorship by Sony. 😀😀😀 Because everyone knows Sony, and a lot of people have never heard of Bowers & Wilkins, only sound connoisseurs know it. Thus, Sony is more mediated, and ends up having a control of public opinion, and obviously creates a subconscious tendency by Sony, even some of youtubers who make these comparatives . If you are young, and like techno, buy a Sony. But if you are over 40 years old, and want to make up for the lack of youth with charm, buy B&W PX 😎👍 . .
haha your analogy for headphones was absolutely hilarious. I certainly go with hot sexy chick that would leave the house like it's unattended or untidy..haha way to go..mate
I've read a few reviews where its mentioned that the PX really shine and become their best when they have some running-in time under their belt. I got these a few days ago and was initially little disappointed, but after around 20 hours of running in, they really become at their best. Its like listening to a different pair of headphones now. Great review by the way.
Regardless of your opinions or conclusions, whether I agree or not is neither here or there. The thing I love about your chanel is the gorgeous visual quality you achieve in your vids. Always a treat to one's eyes. Thanx mate!
Just picked a pair of these up two days ago, and I couldn't agree more with you about the sound signature. Lovely soundstage and a pleasing, warm sound. Your review was excellent. Conveying something as subtle as sound quality is difficult, and you managed it quite well. Liked and subscribed.
These are the BEST headphones I have ever had...hands DOWN! they are WAY better that whatever Sony or Bose has to offer. What I look for in a pair of good high end headphones are the following: 1) Looks 2) Build Quality 3) Sound 4) durability and 5) comfort. Lets start with the looks...OMG these things are Gorgeous! (I have the Blue and Gold pair). These are a head turners. Bose and Sony wish their headphone did look this good. 2) Build Quality. The Build quality on a scale of 1-10 is an 11. yes, they are built that good. Quality all the way around. No Plastic anywhere like, Sony, Beats, and Bose...which are all full of plastic. These are SOLID quality and the headband and ear pads are 100% LEATHER...not FAKE leather like you will find in so many others. 3) Sound...OMG...the sound is INCREDIBLE! the bass is tight and smooth....not artificial and boomy to drown out the mids and the highs...it's smooth and clean. The Mids are Highs are VERY Clear and right where they should be . Nothing is out of balance and the instruments you can hear clearly and vocals are to die for. The sound is so good that you hate to take them off. 4) Durability- Excellent. Not cheap looking and cheap quality. These will last a LONG time with care. 5) Comfort- These are very comfortable. I have listen to some reviewers say that they are not comfortable and hurt their head. I don't find that at all. They are VERY comfortable for me and I feel absolutely ZERO discomfort. Last but not least the ANC is right on point. you turn it on and it's just you and the music.
Another cool review! You said that there are measurements that prove Sony doesn't expand as well wirelessly. Tell me where I can see these measurements. I am the owner of Bowers and Widlkens px and when I listen to them I feel like the sound is in a drum. It seems to me that they have something wrong with the frequency balance, as if the voice is too ahead and the music is behind. When I listened to the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H9 Gen 3, everything was magical there, as if the sound and voice were on the same level.
I know this isn't a phone review but I needed a new phone and was deciding what to get. Opted for one plus 5 mainly because it has aptX HD. Then it was a patient wait for some lush aptX HD headphones. The wait is now over.
So beautiful and I trust TGA opinion on its superior sound. Unfortunately these are not comfortable headphone especially for my head. If you work for hours in a coffee shop and travel frequently on an airplane this is really a big issue. Finding your channel today save me $200, I was planning to sell my QC35 to go for the H9i but it is not worth it anymore with the review
I spent days researching wireless cans. I have two pairs from many years ago that I haven't used for... at least ten years. Cheap rubbish with lots of hiss. So now, I wanted something serious. My choice based on lots of written and youtubed reviews got down to this pair. This review is by far the best. A true audiophile (I've been one since 1966) review. Awesome, on this, the Bose and the ony. Thanks man, brilliant. Mine arrive tomorrow morning :)
UPDATE Had to play a lot with the ANC and get software working well. The head sensor definitely keep off! Hand the cans to someone and sound goes. They don't know to press the button. Also noticed, when on the phone, you need ANC on City to be able to hear your own voice with voice pass through on max. Sound with classical recordings I know VERY well, orchestra, piano and singing. Excellent - similar to my Beyerdynamic DT250 studio reference - but brighter. Zero wireless hiss. Voice recordings of top quality (mine, ahem) made with Rode K2, AKG 3000 and Rode USB - excellent, can hear all the differences. Yes, they pinch the top of the ear after a couple of hours. Yes, heavy - not a problem for me - don't pinch my head, if I did head banging I suspect they would fall off. With ANC I can bang on a table next to the computer the music is coming from and can't hear anything. The ANC doesn't damage the sound too much for me, and I am a fanatic, I promise. Phone calls, several people have loved the clarity. Received phone call sound, clear but a bit like air traffic control. Overall, very happy.
Definitely. My Galaxy Note 8 does not support aptx HD until the Android Oreo update is released. Currently I'm using the Bowers & Wilkins PX in aptx codec.
Hey Bud, i read a few reviews on Amazon of PX owners complaining about hissing noise with NC ON? and poor sound quality with NC ON,Is that true? I am trying to decide between the PXC 550 and these. I love how these look and wouldn't mind sacrificing a few db's of NC when compared to that of the QC35 or WH1000.
brightside85 Sound quality does suffer when ANC is activated with a slight hiss. However with ANC on it offers a better listening experience then when it off in a noisy environment. If you are in a quiet environment, you can disable the ANC and achieve the wonderful sound the PX is capable of.
I’m using the USB to USB-C cable and works great as a computer headphone but wish there would be an android/iPhone to USB-C firmware update so the headphones can do all the processing and not the phone. On my iPhone I’m using the lightning to USB adapter and it works at sending digital signal to headphones and letting headphone DAC do the processing.
Missed your reviews bro I hope married life is treating you well. As of now I'm kind of confused on what to get brother. I dunno if I should get the sony 1000x m2 the bose 35 v2 of these what would you recommend for noise cancelling and sound?
TheGamingAudiophile thanks bro I walked in best buy wanted the Sony's tried the bose and at the end the comfort and the replacement ear pads sealed the deal got the bose with no regrets.
Nathan D. They are quite tight to wear so they not the most comfortable. You can wear them for long periods of time though. They are comfortable to wear though just not the best
How's the sound quality on these (b&w PX) vs the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x? The ATH-M50Xs sound better than the Bose Qc35 in my opinion and I wanted to know how they sound compared to the B&W PX. Ideally I want a headphone that sounds better than the ATH-M50Xs, is as comfortable, and is Bluetooth with ANC.
I currently have the b&W P7 wireless generally I love the sound quality, for a portable headphone, though they are a tad bass heavy, are these PX bass heavy also? I heard they use similar drivers on the px as the mighty P9s, I'm probably going to wait for the PSB m4u 8, or Nad HP 70, obviously they ain't as good in design as the B&Ws but the sound quality probably will be. A tip for those leather ear pads put a little Vaseline on each 👍🏻they will last longer
Have you had a chance to try plugging the headphones into your phone's USB jack for audio over USB-C? I'm curious if this works, and how much it effects the battery.
TheGamingAudiophile Thanks for the reply. Really enjoyed both your videos on the PX. Haven't been too many in-depth videos covering them, glad you've taken the time!
XyledMonkey B&W PX sounds cleaner however they sound relatively the same in terms of soundstage. The PX sounds even more warm and nearly muffled in this mode. I'd prefer the Sony's in this comparison in terms of sound signature. However, thankfully in office mode in addition to the PX's stellar passive noise isolation, I find the amount of noise blocked sufficient.
Great in-depth review!!! Could you please comment on whether these headphones make that weird thumping sound due to the ANC when walking? Its kinda hard to explain but my bose qc35 make this thump/thud while walking.... also ive heard this on most ANC headphones and really cant stand it. Thanks in advance.
r3load the thumping noise you hear is the pressure of the headphones with the noise cancelation activated. The Sony Wh1000X I had was really bad when walking. The PX I have now are firm and have a good secure grip on your head and only make that noise if you run or jump pretty firmly.
Couldn't disagree more. They're absolutely fantastic as long as you are right at the source of your sound and never have reason to move your head or walk away. Also, clamping and weight are awful... very uncomfortable.
Myles Silton couldn’t disagree more, it’s all very subjective with headphones isn’t it? I find them comfortable and the weight is a reassuring thing to me that quality materials are used and not crappy plastic.
Sorry for my bad languages.. It's just that I've had two pares of Bose QC 35 II:s both having the same issue. Namely plastic that squeak and make several annoying noises every time you turn your head or just walking with them on your head. Otherwise I love Bose and their customer service. Love to your channel. Love from Sweden.
Tan Lines Thank you. I've had the Parrot Zik 2 and 3. Both offer really good noise cancellation, but their audio quality always sounded a bit processed even with all equalizations turned off. I've also owned the Sennheiser PX550 and found those to have quite good noise cancellation. The audio however was too narrow in the soundstage and too prominent in the lower treble. The Bowers and Wilkins PX are superior to them both in my opinion.
I’m concerned about sound quality most but comfort, battery, etc does matter. I’m considering the Aventho wireless - what are your thoughts on the px vs Aventhos for sound quality?
Just bought these 2 hours ago and I am glad I made this choice. It was between this and the QC 35 II but I did not like the general look of the QC 35 and this one's mid-range was way more natural and broad so I went with this. My friend who has a QC 35 is really jealous.
I have had these for a few days and find them to be really comfortable, after a few hours they are no problem at all. The build quality is far far better than sony and Bose, feel more premium and the sound IMO is better.
H7's sound betterctuan the H9, I'm thinking of selling my h9's and keeping my h7's, there louder and sound more crisp and detailed, h9 sounds more bassy, and muffled, weirdly found that the Bluetooth was better on the h7
Do you have to manually select Aptx HD in Developer Options on Android, or is the codec automatically turned on when the headphones are connected to an Android phone?
@@TheGamingAudiophile cool, thanks. Mine should be arriving tomorrow. I also have the Oppo PM3, I'm not expecting the PXs to beat them in sound, but I'm just so tired of cable management at work. I'm ready for wireless freedom lol.
I am planning to switch from the Beats Pro2 headphones to these. I feel I need a more mature headphone in terms of looks and sound. I don't need earth shattering bass but I do listen to alot of hip hop and R&B music, so will the PX still give me enough bass to satisfy me when listening to hip hop?
I've had beats studio for a few years But it's time for an upgrade. So should i get the Bose qc35 II, b&w px, beats studio3 or sony wh-1000xm2? I'm returning the ones i got for christmas to a store and i'm not sure If they have the px's so If they don't and u say they're the best, who's number 2? And also, can i use any of them as a mic for ps4? (i could with my beats studio).
Ordered same one (navy&gold) after I sent my P7w back (thankfully had it for less then 30 days). Would you say it sounds as good as P7wireless? And thank you for posting first proper review on UA-cam about them!! Subscribed
Dorian Ceta Yes, I notice a difference. It's primarily in the clarity of the sound improving because of the nuetral tonal balance, tighter bass and wider soundstage that the PX has over the P7.
I currently own a Parrot Zik 3, and I'm looking for an upgrade. I am honestly torn between these and the QC35-2's. I care about everything: comfort, sound quality, durability and noise cancellation (in no particular order). I know the QCs are the winners in terms of comfort and ANC. So, my questions: 1. How much better do you consider the durability of these cans to be, when compared to the QC35-II? 2. How does the ANC of these cans compare to that of my Zik 3? 3. How do these relate to the Zik 3 in terms of comfort, clamp and sweat, when used for multiple hours? (I know the QC's the winner here) 4. In general, do you think it's worth the upgrade at all? If so, what would you recommend, for multiple hours of office work and an occasional flight, given that I care about the whole package?
Do you know if you can use a USB-C to USB-C cable from these to an Android phone, and output audio through the port? For the headphone jack-less phones this might be a great option!
You did not explain in which order did the px sound good ,meaning with noise cancellation on or off or with wired, that's important to discuss because many reviewers are saying wired the sound is very thin...so just saying it sounds good, these headphones are used 2 different ways with nc or without.....Now that would've been more helpful
For the best possible sound, it is highly recommended to keep the ANC off.
Thanks for the review. I have the p7 wired and they are incredible. Sticking with Bowers and Wilkins due to this so getting the PX and having compared this to Senheissers, B&Os, Bose or Sony.
Thank you for the terrific review. I plan to buy this tomorrow. Will I able to charge this using a MacBook Pro charger brick and usb-c cable? And when I connect this via Usb-c to a Mac, will I able to listen to music? Thanks Again! Subscribed!
MrDucatiti Thank you and yes you can charge these from a MacBook USB C charger. That's exactly what I do or I'll use the USB C charger for my Galaxy Note 8 and these things charge very fast ( 1 hour). When you plug a USB C cable into the PX from a Mac or Windows PC, it'll activate USB audio and work just fine that way as well.
Hi. I noticed that when rubbing one of its sides against a surface it leads to an obnoxious sound right on my ear, is this expected? (even with ANC off)
Torn between Bose qc35II's and BWpx. I'm listening more on the classical/baroque music genre and the likes (choral, orchestra, vocal, piano, harpsichord, harp) and wanted to hear wind, strings as well at the most extreme hertz possible so the Sony's sound unnatural for me. Which one to get? No issue on the costs.Thanks.
lionel's lyre The QC35's have a more nuetral and accurate sound while the PX is more warm and emotive sounding. You'll pick up details easier on the Bose with those genres. So I'll recommend the Bose.
Thanks bro. I got the PX instead since instruments are more detailed and not overly accentuated. And the bass of the string section was well shown on these PX's. I ran it for 100 hours first before I put them on and it sounded fantastic.
Do you think there worth 150$ for gaming? I can get them for 150$ on cl. But heard mixed reveiws but not sure if there not spectacular for 400$ or just in general
Hi, I am following your channel for quite some time and bought SE846 based on comparison with KSE1500 and IE800, very happy, I wanted one noise cancelling headphone without sacrificing the SQ as you can imagine I am spoiled by SE846, are these in pure SQ better than Sony 1000Xm2 or QC35 when NC is on or they are better when NC off, also did you play these with APTX HD or normal bluetooth.
Lone Star The PX sounds better than the QC35 II and WH-1000Xm2 when ANC is off and even when on. However the ANC when on Max does cause s significant reduction in sound quality. I used normal AptX.
Since it's active noise cancelling, does it have noise allowance? The thing I hate about talking on the phone with cans is that you can't hear your own voice. Having mics for cancellation, does it let you hear your own voice while talking?
No, there isn't a voice pass through when on calls. However, in the app you can manually adjust it to let in voices through the ANC mics. The Bose QC35 1 and 2 as well as the Sony WH-1000Xm2 and Beats Studio 3 Wireless have voice passthrough automatically during calls. As for mic quality during calls. The Sony's are horrible, the Beats are okay, the Bose is good and the PX's are also good.
What about pairing them to my ios devices? Do I always have to go into bluetooth settings for pairing? Thinking about using them with my Apple Watch and smart pairing would be awesome
I have a pair of Monster Elements Wireless and I like them but I feel like I can find a better pair. Do you know if these sound better on the bass/mid/high all that stuff?
Please answer this question, (I will subscribe if u answer). im between these or sony wh-1000xm2, which has the best sound and which ones are best for working out and running? I know neither of these arent made for working out but i will still use it for that, so if you had to choose, which ones is the best for working out?
AjeroZ Best sound is the PX. Best for working out is the Sony's. Sony's are more stable on the head and have synthetic leather pads which will hold up better to sweat than the genuine leather pads on the PX.
These have the same problem as almost every bluetooth headphone in the world with the exception of the Beats by Dre. They just aren't loud enough. The amplifier isn't powerful at all. I use these for workout headphones and you have to have it all the way up to really hear them. Beats sound terrible but they can get louder than you can take. I haven't broken them in yet, but the volume might be a deal breaker for me. I think I might return them and get the new Audeze bluetooth headphones. As far as sound quality, I have yet to hear headphones that wow me. I have about 10 pairs. Nothing beats a real powerful, clean stereo.
Vinny Diesel Sorry to say it but your hearing is damaged. Max volume on these is uncomfortable. You're suffering from hearing loss so your sensitivity to sounds is much less than someone with good hearing and therefore you need abnormally high volumes to be satisfied. I'd stop that habit before it gets worse and Beats are no longer loud enough.
Not true, I have exceptional hearing. These sound just like the Sennheiser Momentum's. Good sound, sure...but not very loud, not much presence. I have a setup in my office with a headphone amp (oppo) and a pair of wired headphones that get loud and clean, especially for classical music. It could be that I paired them with an iphone and that's the limitation. I also only tested Spotify (usually the loudest streaming platform) and it was wholly unimpressive. They might break in, but I doubt they will ever be applicable for all music types.
Vinny Diesel You have hearing loss. My wife finds my listening volume on this too loud and that's at about 70%. She listens at 40%. You finding 100% not loud enough is a sure sign you have hearing loss.
If that were true than why is it when I directly connect VModa's to my iPhone and turn the volume up to about 80% it is almost unbearable to me? They might be more sensitive but at half volume or a little above they are louder than these bluetooth headphones at full blast. That kind of negates the hearing damage thing. Have you tested this on an iPhone? I am just trying to get to the bottom of this and wonder if I should keep them.
Vinny Diesel The Oppo's don't have the soundstage depth and size of the PX. Also, the PM3 sounds quite boring in comparison with its flat bass response and rolled off treble. The PX has much more personality and vividness to the sound. Detail retrieval wise, it's easier to hear on the PM3 because its neutral thoughout but has not PRAT and sounds lifeless.
Richard Servello p7 wireless are the best sounding headphones I’ve ever had, also own H9i and both sound and look beautiful. You definitely get what you pay for.
Sarky Ho p7 wireless have better sound imo, and are much louder than px when both at half volume. Your paying just for the ANC on px which isn’t that good anyway.
Great articulation of the sound quality. Thanks. I am I sing an iPhone SE, so it doesn’t have AptX HD and I believe neither will the new iPhones. She’s this mean I will get a poor experience?
Alvin Fan Not at all. The iPhone and Bowers & Wilkins PX supports AAC Bluetooth codec which is still a very high-quality means of audio transition. Especially if you're using Apple music because the music streamed from there are in AAC format which means there will be no further compression.
Thanks for the great review! How does the sound/build quality of the B&W PX and compare with the M&D MW60 that you reviewed a while back. I'm in the market for a new set of headphones, and will mostly use them in a relatively quiet office space. Are there any other headphones that I should consider (QC35II/1000xM2)? I think you said you liked the PX better than those.
The build quality of the MW60 is exceptional and so is the PX. They're both held in high regards in terms of build quality. As for sound, the MW60 has a punchy and clear sound, but falls short to the PX in terms of dynamics, scale, space and balance. If you have the money to money up for the PX, I would recommend those in a heart beat over the Sony or Bose offerings. The PX has adequate noise isolation for everyday use when the ANC is set to Office Mode alongside among the best, if not, the best wireless headphone sound quality I have come across.
Hi! thnks for such a great review. But I am still confused in deciding between Sony's 1000xM2 & B & W's PX. Being a Bose fan I did not like the sound of QC35. I want the best sounding headphones with great clarity and detailing with a decent amount of noice canceling feature. Please suggest..:)
I am considering the Master dynamic mw60 and I remember that you strongly recommended the mw60. Noise canceling feature and comfort issue aside, will you choose the mw60 over this one and the sony wh1000?
arsenaldox8 Because the tight bass and awesome dynamics, these sound excellent with EDM. In comparison to V-Modas, expect a clearer and more resolving sound that's also very accurate yet engaging.
I got the bowers n Wilkins px because all the good reviews I use them for a week but for some reason the did not compare to my headphones ( Linea 10. By Caeden regarding sound quality So I return them the px
Wow, these are some of the nicest looking Headphones I have seen lately. Too bad about the treble, the P7 had nice treble..... How would these compare to the Crossfade wireless 2? Those are awesome headphones, especially with the wire, may be a tad too much upper bass, but I love them.
iliketoread Iliketothink17 The P7 did indeed have a wonderful treble, but the PX is still no slouch. An EQ can fix this issue thankfully. I haven't heard the Crossfade 2 Wireless to compare but I own the Crossfade Wireless and enjoyed those.
CitzenKane2000 The PX sounds more spacious and focused than the Momentum. Detail wise, the PX digs out a bit more micro nuances and paints a better picture of textures from instruments. Both are quite clear sounding and very clean sounding headphones. They also both share a warm and relaxed sound with a laid back treble response. ANC performance is superior on the PX when they are both using their maximum abilities, but the PX's sound takes and dive for the worst at that point and sounds inferior to the Momentum. With the PX on the office ANC setting, the Momentum blocks out a tad bit more sound.
GameBrosTMT I've heard the Audeze Sine and EL8. The Sine was great. Very clear, clean and detailed. The EL8 was a little more open sounding. The PX compares favorably in terms of quality and speed, but with a more exciting tonal balance.
finallynb P7 is still superior to the H7 IMO. the P7 is the most V-shaped of the bunch with stunning treble resolution. The drawbacks of the P7 is that the bass can sometimes be overwhelming. The PX fixes this but with a treble that is also quite nicely resolving but a tad bit relaxed in nature in comparison to the P7. The H7 sounds too mellow and soft with good details. Sound is quite balanced but V-shaped nonetheless. Also, the H7 doesn't get very loud and couple that poor noise isolation when outside and you have a recipe for distaster.
TheGamingAudiophile agreed. The PXC 550’s have made some fundamental mistakes with earpad design and lower-grade ANC. These PX’s are extremely good, once they break in for the audio and also the material. You really need 30-35 hours of break-in at 60% audio and probably 50-60 hours of wearing them to get used to the feel. But the soundstage and detail is far superior to the Momentum and the PXC lines. Also and more recently, the wh-1000xm3 Sonys offer fantastic ANC, but the audio fidelity is below the PX’s, yet still superior to the Bose QC35ii.
nice review. I am going to get this in order to hook it up with upcoming S9 Plus (of which no aptX HD is confirmed via any leaks yet), hoping it (S9+) will come equipped with aptX HD support. what do you think of the match?
That will be a great matchup. All devices with Android Oreo will have Aptx HD support. Sony's LDAC codec will be available if that license is purchased.
yes sony already gave the LDAC away. but not compatible headphones other than theirs. I was this close getting the WH1000XM2 but your review & Jims review got me shifted to this. thanks.
Great review man, have you tried the audio technica dsr-9bt? Between the px and the ath which do you think is better in terms of sound quality? Thanks!
Jorge Luis Fernandez Yes, I have. The DSR9BT is clearer and more balanced while the PX is more emotive and visceral. You'll hear nuances easier with the DSR9BT while you'll be tapping your toes right away with the PX. The Achilles heel of the DSR9BT is that there is no noise cancelling so they're quite useless for commuting.
TheGamingAudiophile thanks a lot for the answer, so....which of them would you go for? No matter NC 'cause i dont use it so much, i only want the best sound in bluetooth mode, thanks again.
Jorge Luis Fernandez It depends. The PX sounds better with modern music like EDM, Hip hop/Rap, Drum and Bass, Techno, Dubstep and other bass driven genres. The DSR9BT is better suited for classical, jazz, acoustical and country music.
PX are a great headphone. After burning them in (100h) they play music with a huge insight, my HD650 are lost here. All layers in recording makes them on state of the art transparency. Growing even with my high end dac!
Great review here. I tried these today at best buy and they didn't really sound that good to me. I have the sennheiser pxc 550's and the parrot zik's and I love them both. I do like the way they are made minus the ear cups which are way to hard imo.....
Enjoyed the review, but there are weird compression artifacts on the audio, and also when recording outside more windprotection for the mic would be nice. All in all a good video though. Keep it up
Hi there. Great review very useful and straight to the point. I am between px and seinheiser momentum wireless. Any chance to compare these both on sound quality\NC\comfort aspects?? Used to have a momentum wired vdron and happy with the flat and musical sound characteristic and wonder really if PX is gonna be a better choice Thanks
Doruk Hemen I believe the PX is significantly superior to the Momentum Wireless or HD1. Sound quality wise, the PX has a wider and more resolving sound with far better dynamics. ANC wise, they're both a toss up. With the PX's ANC on Plane mode, it blocks out more noise than the Momentum Wireless but the PX sounds its worse at this setting. With the PX's ANC on office setting which allows for ANC usage with minimal sound degredation, it's comparable to the Momentum Wireless. Comfort wise, the PX at first is very medicore and feels still while the Momentum Wireless is pretty comfortable but may not be the best fit for larger ears. Over time, the PX's pads loosen up and adjusts to your ears and head making them scale good on the comfort spectrum.
Thanks a lot for the reply. Will use mainly ANC on so how would you compare the sound quality of b&w when its high ANC and Momentum on regular ANC? Still B&w betters Seinheiser or visa versa?? Thanks
Superior transparency, space, scale, detail. Just better sound from top to bottom. However, this is when ANC is either off or on Office mode ( Which blocks out a good deal of noise ). If the ANC is on City or Plane, then I prefer the WH-1000XM2's sound.
Thank you for your answer :) . Actually I've tried the WH-1000XM2 and even though I like the sound and the comfort, the PX seems so beautiful and stylish in gold/navy blue that's why I'm hesitating. I'm gonna use it mainly in the street (London) or in the bus. I also want something that does not heat up my ears, which one do you think is better (especially for people who wear glasses) ?
The Sony's heat up your ears faster because it does not have much space within the ear cavity. However, due to the ANC optimization, the Sony's will seal out external noise on your ears more consistently with glasses in the way. It's a toss up between the two in terms of the two criteria listed.
EDIT ( 10-9-17 )
For the best possible sound, it is highly recommended to keep the ANC off.
Your findings mirror mines. No, I have not use these wired yet. The wear sensor is too finicky for me and I have too disabled it.
Got these pretty recently. I'm in complete agreement in regards to the sound, but I haven't had any issues with the wear sensor.
Any experience with Sennheiser HD 1? I'm undecided between the HD1 and B&W PX.
Watching this review with my new PX headphones. Yes, I'm the guy who watches reviews after I buy a thing. Excellent review. Had to pause to check and see if the airplanes were in the review, or irl. Lol
Same here.
I have both headphones, the Sony 1000mx3 and the B&W PX.
SOUND:
However, I intend to say that B&W has a
more intense bass, and Sony has a more BOOOMMM bass! Did I make myself understand?
After listening a techno music at high volume,
the results in my head were different:
With the Sony 1000mx3 I kept my head vibrating.
With the B&W PX I got my head to echo inside!
The B&W PX bass comes in inside the head,
and the Sony 1000mx3 vibrates the outside of the head.
Different results for different tastes.
I prefer the Bass of the B&W PX, more real and penetrating, like a punch in the head.
Sony sounds a little artificial (comparing with the B&W PX)
In addition, the B&W PX volume is higher.
When it reaches the volume limit on the Sony 1000mx3, the B&W still has another 20% to add.
Without a doubt, the sound of the B&W PX is superior, more defined and more elegant.
I say this without any tendency, because I bought both.
Do not forget the following:
B&W is a company dedicated exclusively to sound, equipping high-end cars like Ferrari, BMW's etc.
Sony produces a wide variety of things, from mobile phones to microwaves. B&W is a lady of sound
quality, because she dedicates himself exclusively to this.
COMFORT:
With regard to comfort, the Sony 1000mx3 are more comfortable, nor giving almost by the presence of them in the head. 👍👍👍
However, while the B&W PXs are less comfortable, the ears stay free inside the earpiece, being cooler and not causing perspiration.
The Sony 1000mx3 ears do not have space inside the headphones, and make them perspire on hotter days.
Unsustainable in summer days, much less to walk down the street on sunny days. 👎
The quality of construction is top notch in the B&W PX. All in aluminum, and genuine leather. It costs € 400 in Europe but
pays for the elegance and quality of construction. 👍
The Sony 1000mx3 is all in plastic and synthetic skin. In Europe costs € 380, but it seems that we are buying plastic.👎
However the Sony are lighter and therefore more comfortable. 👍
NOISE CANCELLATION:
The Sony 1000mx3 has a perfect noise cancellation, it looks like you put your head inside a vacuum chamber. Perfect!
👍👍👍
The B&W PX though reasonable in noise cancellation, but are far from the Sony 1000mx3.
Android/ Apple APPLICATION:
With respect to the Android application to control the headphones, the Sony is perfect, as well as the indicator sounds in your own language.
The B&W PX are just beeps. 👎👎👎
The B&W PX application only serves to control the level of noise reduction (which is best to keep it OFF), and to control the system to pause the music when you remove the B&W PX from your ears (which works at 80%). The app for B&W PX is terribly basic 👎👎👎
CONCLUSION?
Comparing these headphones to a women, I would say:
That the Sony are that kind of woman, very
devoted to home and children, but a little less beautiful and more chubby.
The B&W PX is that a elegant woman, very pretty, but untidy woman at home.
So, if you prefer the ugly and dedicated woman at home, you will always look at the beautiful woman.
If you prefer the elegant and beautiful woman, you go and wash your dishes at home. You choose. 😁😁😎
I prefer the B&W PX,
although I know it does not have all those features that would do it great.
😀😀😀
Because everyone knows Sony, and a lot of people have never heard of Bowers & Wilkins, only sound connoisseurs know it.
Thus, Sony is more mediated, and ends up having a control of public opinion, and obviously creates a subconscious tendency by Sony, even some of youtubers who make these comparatives
.
If you are young, and like techno, buy a Sony.
But if you are over 40 years old, and want to make up for the lack of youth with charm, buy B&W PX 😎👍 .
.
Gracias por la explicación, realmentte me ayudo bastante a decidirme. Un abrazo
@@obiwan241 Siempre a las órdenes 😎👍
haha your analogy for headphones was absolutely hilarious. I certainly go with hot sexy chick that would leave the house like it's unattended or untidy..haha way to go..mate

Skips you straight to the sound quality portion of the review.
how this compare to the p7 wireless, is it worth buying in just in terms of sound quality ??
Dorian Ceta More nuetral and clearer sounding than the P7. Yes these are worth the price.
What about B&O Beoplay H9?
Desverger I find those to not be comparable to the PX.
Hi, can you clarify why the H9 are not comparable with the PX please as both are over ear anc headphones. Thanks,
I've read a few reviews where its mentioned that the PX really shine and become their best when they have some running-in time under their belt. I got these a few days ago and was initially little disappointed, but after around 20 hours of running in, they really become at their best. Its like listening to a different pair of headphones now.
Great review by the way.
TalsVids Thank you sir.
Did you find the same result with yours in terms of burn-in? I feel like the mid-range is a bit loose right now after about 20hrs of listening.
make it 35 hours.:)
lionel's lyre is it the longer the run in time , the better the sound is ?
I couldn't agree more
Regardless of your opinions or conclusions, whether I agree or not is neither here or there. The thing I love about your chanel is the gorgeous visual quality you achieve in your vids.
Always a treat to one's eyes. Thanx mate!
The Full Shilling Thanks. This was shot straight out of my Galaxy Note 8.
Detailed, truly informative review. Good work!
You just gained another subscriber.
I'm someone who thinks these are uncomfortable. They objectively have a much higher clamping force and weight than most other ANC Headphones
Thank you for posting a REAL review! Buying them now...
You're welcome! Enjoy!
I am thrilled that these are usb c. Finally more companies are getting onboard!
Luke what’s the big thing with usb-c anyway?
Quite the acoustically sound vocabulary there, mate. Great review.
Siddhant Sethi Thank you sir.
I wanted to upgrade from my ath m50x to the p7 wired, should I just upgrade to the new px now?
With Healthbars Yes.
UPDATE
Had to play a lot with the ANC and get software working well.
Are you using a phone which is aptX HD compatible? That might make a difference. Also, do you think its worth the upgrade over the P7 (no wireless)?
Definitely. My Galaxy Note 8 does not support aptx HD until the Android Oreo update is released. Currently I'm using the Bowers & Wilkins PX in aptx codec.
The LG V20/V30 should be used as the test source for APTX HD. The DAC on the Note 8 is not great. The Exynos may be better than the Snapdragon.
When you play your media over bluetooth, the DAC in your phone is not engaged at all.
Upgrade now.:)
You should talk more about the comfort and maybe show them on your head...
These headphone sound great ANC on or off, but they are full of other problems. Check out my comments, above.
TheFijianGuy Close call. I'd say the Bose.
Now I am confused in your review you preferred it over QC35 II and Sony !!
TheGamingAudiophile thanks bro I walked in best buy wanted the Sony's tried the bose and at the end the comfort and the replacement ear pads sealed the deal got the bose with no regrets.
have you listened to the Bowers and Wilkins P9?
Listening to this review on my P7s. I need to hurry and upgrade to the PXs!
Great Review!
Richard Um Thank you.
P7 wireless or the PX sound better?
These headphones are ridiculously good
I've been breaking them in and the sound quality has suddenly improved dramatically
How durable would you say these are?
@@specificorb3 very durable they are very well built
@@jamescollett2625 I've heard they get a bit uncomfortable after 2 hours or so, true?
XyledMonkey I'd say the PX sounds more refined and balanced than the M50X.
Interesting. Could you elaborate - I'd like to hear more on this comparison.
Apex Bear The M50X has a V-shaped sound while the PX is more of a warmer sound signature with a linear extended bass and a polite treble.
Aaron Laye Haven't tried it unfortunately.
TheGamingAudiophile Thanks for the reply. Really enjoyed both your videos on the PX. Haven't been too many in-depth videos covering them, glad you've taken the time!
Sound quality on the b&w px on Plane Mode vs Sony mdr 1000x sound on full noise cancelling
Then in office mode of the PX is it sound better than Sony ?
Is there a big difference of the sound quality for me to connect wire or go wireless for the PX ?
Great in-depth review!!! Could you please comment on whether these headphones make that weird thumping sound due to the ANC when walking? Its kinda hard to explain but my bose qc35 make this thump/thud while walking.... also ive heard this on most ANC headphones and really cant stand it. Thanks in advance.
r3load the thumping noise you hear is the pressure of the headphones with the noise cancelation activated. The Sony Wh1000X I had was really bad when walking. The PX I have now are firm and have a good secure grip on your head and only make that noise if you run or jump pretty firmly.
just saw the what hi-fi awards and these are rated best wireless headphone of 2017
I don't disagree with that.
Beautiful looking headphones! Great review well explained, what about the parrot zik's or the sennheiser pic 550's? I have them both and love them....
Arda Gazioğlu Good choice sir.
How's the clamping pressure around the ears? I own the P7 wired and they get uncomfortable after about a half hour. Are these better?
Kulture Kritic These do have a high clamp initially but it loosens over time. However you'll still notice it. Nothing like the Bose QC35.
I have had these for a few days and find them to be really comfortable, after a few hours they are no problem at all. The build quality is far far better than sony and Bose, feel more premium and the sound IMO is better.
Just from the look they looks very unconfortable :/
Colonel Gayfur they’re comfortable as long as you haven’t got a head like a king Eddie 🥔 spud and wear glasses 🤓
Kingdongdingdongdang what if I wear glasses ?
Can you please do review of source component, wondering what source you are using on the go with your shure se846? thanks
Well done!! very informative!! and so quick after the release… What would be your favorite B&O H8/H9 or PX?? Keep up your great work!!
PX definitely. I never liked the H9 much, but enjoyed the H8 a lot primarily when wired. Bluetooth performance and ANC for the H8 was lacking.
Thanks my friend
Great review man. You gained a new subscriber.
Very good video mate! Any chance you'll make a video comparsion between B&W PX and B&O H9?
Thank you!
Matteo Ventura Thank you. I've heard the H9 and didn't like them enough to buy.
H7's sound betterctuan the H9, I'm thinking of selling my h9's and keeping my h7's, there louder and sound more crisp and detailed, h9 sounds more bassy, and muffled, weirdly found that the Bluetooth was better on the h7
Rob Wheeler B&W PX is better than both
Do you have to manually select Aptx HD in Developer Options on Android, or is the codec automatically turned on when the headphones are connected to an Android phone?
Codec automatically uses AptxHD unless you specify a different codec.
@@TheGamingAudiophile cool, thanks. Mine should be arriving tomorrow. I also have the Oppo PM3, I'm not expecting the PXs to beat them in sound, but I'm just so tired of cable management at work. I'm ready for wireless freedom lol.
@@akj1919 I hear ya lol
I am planning to switch from the Beats Pro2 headphones to these. I feel I need a more mature headphone in terms of looks and sound. I don't need earth shattering bass but I do listen to alot of hip hop and R&B music, so will the PX still give me enough bass to satisfy me when listening to hip hop?
Yes these will be just right for you.
Marius Wennersten I'd say number two in terms of sound is the QC35 II. As for using them as microphone, yes you can all of them.
TheGamingAudiophile thanks man
Would love to see a PX vs H9i video really soon. That will definitely be a hit lol.
Ordered same one (navy&gold) after I sent my P7w back (thankfully had it for less then 30 days). Would you say it sounds as good as P7wireless? And thank you for posting first proper review on UA-cam about them!! Subscribed
Thank you. I would say these sound superior to the P7 Wireless.
yeah but what if you listen music on spotify or mp3 320kpbs can you notice big diffrence in sound quality between p7w and px
Dorian Ceta Yes, I notice a difference. It's primarily in the clarity of the sound improving because of the nuetral tonal balance, tighter bass and wider soundstage that the PX has over the P7.
Before the PX run in for there best sound , is the P7 wireless significantly sound better than the PX ?
I currently own a Parrot Zik 3, and I'm looking for an upgrade. I am honestly torn between these and the QC35-2's. I care about everything: comfort, sound quality, durability and noise cancellation (in no particular order). I know the QCs are the winners in terms of comfort and ANC. So, my questions:
1. How much better do you consider the durability of these cans to be, when compared to the QC35-II?
2. How does the ANC of these cans compare to that of my Zik 3?
3. How do these relate to the Zik 3 in terms of comfort, clamp and sweat, when used for multiple hours? (I know the QC's the winner here)
Chirpy100 Yes you can.
TheGamingAudiophile thanks for replying back in a positive way..
Are these compatible with the PS4, specifically the microphone and game chat?
Is there a B&W app that will help the lack of treble that you described. I am currently using and hearing your review via the Parrot Zik 3
Delroy Wallace No, the companion app offers no tone controls. You can however use a third party EQ app.
Nice video man! How do you compare this PX ANC off with V-moda crossfade 2 wireless in term of sound quality only? both with apt-x supported device
Hi, thanks for the review. I have the P7w, should I get this version instead? Is the sound better? Thanks in advance
Miguel Telles Definitely. It sounds better.
Oh really ? PX in office mode is sound better than P7 wireless? Since someone said the P7 wireless have clear miss and Base
Thanks for the review. I have the p7 wired and they are incredible. Sticking with Bowers and Wilkins due to this so getting the PX and having compared this to Senheissers, B&Os, Bose or Sony.
Excellent review, thanks!
TheGamingAudiophile - thanks again! You honestly think the $50 premium in price is worth it over the QC35 2?
Yes.
MrDucatiti how are the headphones? im planning on buying them now....
UnknownMyst_ if I wear glasses are the PX still great for me ?
You should get the v moda crossfade 2 wireless and compare them to these
Hi. I noticed that when rubbing one of its sides against a surface it leads to an obnoxious sound right on my ear, is this expected? (even with ANC off)
Joshi CM I can't replicate that. Hmm, you might need a replacement.
I ran it for 100 hours first before I put them on and it sounded fantastic.
lionel's lyre Enjoy them! Stellar cans.
Many thanks for your clarification and excellent review.
Richard Servello 3
how do they compare in terms of bass compared to the bose ?
What about pairing them to my ios devices? Do I always have to go into bluetooth settings for pairing? Thinking about using them with my Apple Watch and smart pairing would be awesome
BPro95 No, once you've paired them they will automatically connect thereafter.
I have a pair of Monster Elements Wireless and I like them but I feel like I can find a better pair. Do you know if these sound better on the bass/mid/high all that stuff?
Yes.
Master dynamic 60 are so awesome and cannot be easily dismiss ..all of there headphones are awesome and can be the new kid on the block...
So is the PX superior to P7 wireless if I wear glasses ?
Please answer this question, (I will subscribe if u answer). im between these or sony wh-1000xm2, which has the best sound and which ones are best for working out and running? I know neither of these arent made for working out but i will still use it for that, so if you had to choose, which ones is the best for working out?
AjeroZ Best sound is the PX. Best for working out is the Sony's. Sony's are more stable on the head and have synthetic leather pads which will hold up better to sweat than the genuine leather pads on the PX.
For working out: Beats Studio3. By far.
Working out in any over ear headphones will ruin them, they will look like shit within a few weeks, buy some in ears.
How do you compare the sound quality of the PX to the B&O h9i?
My p7s are 5 years old and still look and sound amazing...they make high quality.
Richard Servello p7 wireless are the best sounding headphones I’ve ever had, also own H9i and both sound and look beautiful. You definitely get what you pay for.
PX or P7 wireless sound better ?
Sarky Ho p7 wireless have better sound imo, and are much louder than px when both at half volume. Your paying just for the ANC on px which isn’t that good anyway.
Kingdongdingdongdang then if I wear glasses are the PX still great for me ?
Or which active noise cancelling headphone good for who wear glasses ?
Great articulation of the sound quality. Thanks. I am I sing an iPhone SE, so it doesn’t have AptX HD and I believe neither will the new iPhones. She’s this mean I will get a poor experience?
Alvin Fan Not at all. The iPhone and Bowers & Wilkins PX supports AAC Bluetooth codec which is still a very high-quality means of audio transition. Especially if you're using Apple music because the music streamed from there are in AAC format which means there will be no further compression.
TheGamingAudiophile thank you for answering this. Could not find much info at all on this.
Check out my comments on these headphones, above. They sound terrific, but couldn't have worse integration with Apple products, particularly iPhone.
Also which one sound better when the noise cancelling is on ?
Thanks for the reply!
Hi! thnks for such a great review. But I am still confused in deciding between Sony's 1000xM2 & B & W's PX. Being a Bose fan I did not like the sound of QC35. I want the best sounding headphones with great clarity and detailing with a decent amount of noice canceling feature. Please suggest..:)
Faris Hashimi The PX is your headphone sir. Enjoy!
TheGamingAudiophile thnx a lot sir!☺️☺️✌🏻
I am considering the Master dynamic mw60 and I remember that you strongly recommended the mw60. Noise canceling feature and comfort issue aside, will you choose the mw60 over this one and the sony wh1000?
田真远 Not anymore, the PX and Sony's are superior.
TheGamingAudiophile Thanks man
aww shit! the kid's back!
sAmplify101 hahaha I have p7 and they are in a league of their own when comparing it to all the sonys and bose
Does the px work when the battery is flat (using 3.5mm jack)?
No, it still needs power. Battery life is up to 50 hours when on wire with no ANC.
i love bass and EDM music. Does it sounds good in edm music? can u campare this to V-moda?
arsenaldox8 Because the tight bass and awesome dynamics, these sound excellent with EDM.
TheGamingAudiophile Crossfade 2 is more balanced
how would you compare the px soundwise and regarding the NC to the Sennheiser Momentum 2?
CitzenKane2000 The PX sounds more spacious and focused than the Momentum. Detail wise, the PX digs out a bit more micro nuances and paints a better picture of textures from instruments. Both are quite clear sounding and very clean sounding headphones. They also both share a warm and relaxed sound with a laid back treble response. ANC performance is superior on the PX when they are both using their maximum abilities, but the PX's sound takes and dive for the worst at that point and sounds inferior to the Momentum. With the PX on the office ANC setting, the Momentum blocks out a tad bit more sound.
Would you use this when watching movies? (When using something like the apple tv 4k for example)
Seven MotorSport Sure, they sound immersive enough for that.
Have you used any of the planar portables? How do these compare to those?
GameBrosTMT I've heard the Audeze Sine and EL8. The Sine was great. Very clear, clean and detailed. The EL8 was a little more open sounding. The PX compares favorably in terms of quality and speed, but with a more exciting tonal balance.
over ear cups is important. I don't like the on ear p5. I think these might be my next cans.
How do you compare to the pxc550? Build, sound and ANC ?
Which would you recommend out of these and the B&O H7's? Bare in my mind, I listen to hip-hop a lot, so bass means a lot to me.
PX by far.
what about the P7's? How would you rate them amongst the 2 I mentioned?
finallynb P7 is still superior to the H7 IMO. the P7 is the most V-shaped of the bunch with stunning treble resolution.
Thanks for the review. Could you tell me why so few people also put Sennheiser PXC 550 in comparison?
sydke The PXC550 while good isn't as great as these options.
Will the sound quality decrease and crazy sound leaking and not comfortable?
Is the hissing sound normal when you're playing a track with the jack and USB C plugged in?
lionel's lyre Your source is probably not well shielded from power or other interference.
nice review.
I was this close getting the WH1000XM2 but your review & Jims review got me shifted to this. thanks.
sentinelx47 b You're welcome.
TheGamingAudiophile ok bro, i will go for the px then, shame that i cant find that color model of your review so it will be the grey model, cheers!
Guys shall I get the PX or the P7
I only care about audio quality and not the noise canceling
( using this at home mostly )
I would say the p7 although I don't have any of them. But that's based on my analysis from the reviews I have been reading. But px is good overall
@@humoody 😂😂 your 3 years late haha, thanks tho, yeah I have bought the p7, worth it and am loving it till today
How do these compare to the HD600
PX is more transparent, even to the HD650.
How is the comfort compared to the Bose QC35 II? I picked up a pair for a flight, but now wondering if I'm missing something in the sound department.
Jason Simmons The comfort is okay at best, but compared to the Bose, it cannot compete. The Bose is lighter with less clamping pressure.
TheGamingAudiophile Many thanks! And great review!
Keep it up
it's USB-c and has a DAC...hmmm. I'm waiting on my Pixel 2 XL...so that could be a killer feature...since B&W DAC is about the best.
Did a USB-C to USB-C work with the PX?
B&W make the best DACs? WTF??!!
You disagree?
What you mean it has DAC? This headphones have build in DAC?
what is DAC?
Hi there. Great review very useful and straight to the point. I am between px and seinheiser momentum wireless. Any chance to compare these both on sound quality\NC\comfort aspects??
Used to have a momentum wired vdron and happy with the flat and musical sound characteristic and wonder really if PX is gonna be a better choice
Thanks
Thanks
Hello, how do they compare to the Sony WH-1000Xm2 for Jazz/classical music and acoustic in general ?
TheGamingAudiophile Thanks. I guess It's time to upgrade my plantronics backbeat pro and buy these.
