So I learned that you needed a powerful computer for topaz. No one on any video of tutorials say that at all what the requirements are for topaz.
I've recorded this video on an old mid range computer. unless you don't want to upscale an entire movie, it should be working fine on a mid range pc.
@@Vaderhimself uh. I was told on discord I needed a high range or a good mid range computer for it.
Topazlabs' website lists the minimum requirements for their software, and you don't need a super fancy computer to run it.

encoder should always be H265 it compresses better and maintains quality.
H.264 is more widely compatible, whereas Instagram does not support H.265.
Can you do this to a whole edit at a time or just individual clips
Whole edit 🙈 i have used it For like 1:00 minute videos, takes me around 20 minutes to render but does increase the Quality a lot

Export as MP4 and keep the file size below 50mb (by lowering bitrate)

It should be MP4 for the final render with lower bitrate to avoid file size from getting too high

Bro I have rtx3050 i5 12500th (16gb ram) But My After Effect 2020 preview very slow😢 please tell me how I can fix it and give me best settings for after effect
Enable Hardware Acceleration in the Project Settings. Enable Mult rendering if it is not enabled already. Adjust Memory settings in "Edit" > "Preferences" > "Memory" to leave more RAM available for After Effects. Try updating your graphics card drivers and maybe the After Effects to the latest version. and at last In the Preview panel, set the resolution to "Third" or lower.
My question is why are we rendering the raw file ( in the beginning) to QuickTime with pres?
Next what should be the final render settings? Hvec?
Because MP4 is typically a compressed format, I used MOV since it is well-suited for editing. The final render should be in MPEG-4 (MP4) format.

If you're planning to share it on social media, I suggest using AVC (H.264) .ProRes while preserving high quality, tends to have larger file sizes and isn't ideal for the final render in this case.

You can use simple color correction without plugins, which will work!
if you get the red x, you can always just copy the settings u used in mbl and just add them on using regular ae effects im pretty sure

AVI use less compression and result in larger file size, but it has a slightly better quality. Both MOV and AVI works well for this.

@@Vaderhimself nvm i figured it out. I commented this because on am when i go to the quicktime settings and press the button to go to applepro thing, i didn't see the ok/cancel bar because the taskbar was blocking it

Make sure to check if your video is cropped in the topaz settings. You might have zoomed in on an area that can only show 15 seconds. Look for the magnifier icon to adjust the video length. Also, check the right side (located below the preview) to see if the preview is set to 15 seconds

yes, but since editing with 4K footage reduces quality loss (scaling the edit for example), it's better to have a high-quality footage

I'm not sure why but I think Instagram adjust the size based on devices resolution. the higher the better
@@Vaderhimself Its not like that because on Instagram some accounts uploads same content as mine but their video quality is top notch in all devices.
In my friend's devices my video is in very low quality but on the other hand a video from that particular account it shows High quality.

@@rdxallinone9410 I don't know what causes that :( But I think that is related to internet connection of the device. Instagram tends to reduce the quality of videos until it matches the quality of your internet

When someone plays my video with mobile data, the following quality got reduced but when the same device is connected to wifi it shows pretty good quality.

no matter how powerful your computer is topaz will always take a long time to render anything longer than under a minute

The Instagram limit is 30fps, and that's why you may feel like it is lagging. I don't think there is a solution for that

Right click on the Effects Panel and deselect *Show GPU Capable Effects Only* .If the effects panel is missing you can find it in Windows> Effects & Presets.

I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but you could try using a different MBL version, preferably an older one.
I had the same issue in the past. But what worked for me is putting the cc (magic bullet looks) on a adustment layer instead of the actual footage.

why does my clip take up 3.7gb after i used topaz? my original video exported from after effects only has 58.7mb
Because it's MOV. if you want to lower the file size, choose mp4 h264 and lower the bitrate
