Drawin Stuff Yes they fit the characters even though they don't have their actual nationalities anymore and just sound like a bunch of random Anime voices. Japanese people are our lord and saviour while English voice actors are worthless trash cans.
I feel like Blizz tried to keep some of the personality of the character a bit too much for the Japanese dub like in Rein, Roadhog and Junkrat, while Mercy sounds more the motherly type akin to those in average anime voices.
Doesn't translating these kind of defeat the purpose (of them being from different countries). And yea I'm aware that it's translated to English too for most of the characters but at least they kept some lines in the original language (+had the accent when speaking in English). also if ur response is hostile simply bc u r basically a weeb (which is OK on its own) who defends anything Japanese related and gets insulted when it is criticized then don't even bother. The internet has too many of u, sadly. the same applies for all the translations they made.
In a game with characters from all different kinds of places around the world I never understood why they didn't just let the voices be the same as where the characters are from, like in the English version of the game the Japanese characters still say some lines in Japanese and the other characters say some lines in their languages sometimes like Mercy and Mei but in this the English speaking characters only speak Japanese and the Japanese characters only speak Japanese, sure it'd be hard for everyone to know what characters are saying but it'd be pretty cool

Drawin Stuff Yes they fit the characters even though they don't have their actual nationalities anymore and just sound like a bunch of random Anime voices. Japanese people are our lord and saviour while English voice actors are worthless trash cans.
I feel like Blizz tried to keep some of the personality of the character a bit too much for the Japanese dub like in Rein, Roadhog and Junkrat, while Mercy sounds more the motherly type akin to those in average anime voices.

Doesn't translating these kind of defeat the purpose (of them being from different countries). And yea I'm aware that it's translated to English too for most of the characters but at least they kept some lines in the original language (+had the accent when speaking in English).

In a game with characters from all different kinds of places around the world I never understood why they didn't just let the voices be the same as where the characters are from, like in the English version of the game the Japanese characters still say some lines in Japanese and the other characters say some lines in their languages sometimes like Mercy and Mei but in this the English speaking characters only speak Japanese and the Japanese characters only speak Japanese, sure it'd be hard for everyone to know what characters are saying but it'd be pretty cool
