  • I just received my Bluetti EB70 and used it for a day. I bought this with my own money (not sponsor) on April 30th. It was sold out within hours, esp the mint green color that I got.

One thing I noticed at time stamp 14:30...how can it be that 88 Watts load for 3:29 hours can be 649 Watt hours?
Time stamp 18:00...623.66 Wh makes sense for 100 Watts load for the duration of 6:15 hours.

I have the mint green.. I use the flashlight button to check the (awful) display so I don't accidently turn off AC or DC. I recommend you turn on "ECO" mode (see manual.) It will protect your batteries from over discharging them which can reduce the life of the batteries over time. I bought it to run two CPAP's but my wife and I really drained it in one night. I have ordered the DC plugs for our AirSense 10 CPAP's and I think that will help it run longer at night. The only thing that sucks is the 8 amp limitation on solar charging. If you have a cloudy day, you might not have enough charging power for the CPAP.'s the next night camping. I found a work around, though. I have 540 watts solar on my cargo van and I use the Goal Zero Yeti 1000 to use the AC to charge up the EB70. I still have enough solar left over to run the DC fridge, lights, fans and charging stations indefinitely even with a cloudy day.

I`m only getting about 410 watt hours fro mine...running it completely dead...in watt meter tests running a small AC freezer and fridge. Bluetti is sending me a new one free. Hopefully it works.

The new one made it to 555 watt hours. Nowhere near the 716 claimed....

@@baneverything5580 My test revealed the Inverter to be very poor. Using the DC plugs for our CPAPs has been a success. We went our first night on DC power with the two DC power cords and in the morning we used only two bars on the meter so we have a reserve of 40-60%. That will make it much easier to charge up with solar each day if the grid power goes out.

@@barcodenut I guess I`m gonna have to buy a DC fridge too. The Bluetti runs my dorm fridge 20-25 hours and my 5 cubic ft freezer varies but averages over 18 hours if I get the thermostat set right....BUT....this is inside a very cool house with the air conditioner running. What will it do after a hurricane if it`s 100 degrees or more inside the house and 98% humidity?
But Bluetti sent me a free one so I have about 1000 watt hours now. I`m very lucky to have what I have and spent almost all of my stimulus checks carefully shopping for solar power and accessories. I have electricity insurance now and it`s a great feeling.

@@barcodenut I turned just the AC inverter on one evening, nothing plugged in, and the battery dropped fast. I`m assuming the watt meter can`t measure this usage of the inverter so that might explain the results I`m getting.

What capacity tester is that? Also does it come with all the cables? I’m new at this, can I test AC and DC with that tester? Do I need to buy certain cables? Thanks for the video

My first AC test from fully charged to dead was 555 wh on a brand new one. Another one was even worse but the capacity seemed to increase with each charge cycle. I`ve used two different watt meters thinking the first I used was broken. Something isn`t right. Maybe someone else can decipher these strange results.

I bought a Bluetti 70 & 120W solar panel. Both DOA. Waiting for my refund. Just ordered a much cheaper Awafi.
