I kinda just discovered Ceschi through Fat Mike/Get Dead/Codefendants. I can't believe I've been sleeping on this guy. He's so good at everything he does.
I was sleeping on him too but heard him in collaborations like Awol One and Factor.

Oh yes you do. even if I was aware of Fat Mike and Get Dead, I discovered Codefendants through Fake Four Inc., his label, except for Fat Wreck Chords (which was also a defining label for my youth to say the least; Lagwagon, Rise Against, Against Me!, NUFAN... list goes on).
I was introduced to Ceschi and his label through Dark Time Sunshine's LORE album which really intrigued me and then discovered stuff like Deadpan Darling and his solo work with Factor. Would recommend Broken Bone Ballads, or Sad Fat Luck/Sans Soleil can't decide on which one of the latter two.
Absolutely incredible. If Ceschi doesn't get to do NPR Tiny Desk, it's a travesty.

I know of Ceschi from..well Ceschi and being where he lives. I do own the split vinyl with pat the bunny. Recommend me some pat tracks as I know next to nothing about him but have seen ceschi probably around 20 times live.
@@eddie7480 Pat the bunny had too many bands to count, but his most important three were Ramshackle Glory, Wingnut Dishwashers Union and "Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains". I'd recommend 'From here to Utopia' 'Your Heart is a muscle the size of your fist' and 'the hand you reach out is empty' for ramshackle glory, 'my idea of fun' 'fuck shit up' and 'urine speaks louder than words' for wingnut dishwashers union, and 'new mexico song' 'church hymn for the condemned' and 'no trespassing waltz' for johnny hobo and the freight trains.
Hmu if you want more, I only discovered pat last year sadly
I would recommend just listening to all of it really, it's all brilliant.
