What I love about this representation is that it follows the commonly ignored Roux Rules:
1. Rotationless
2. Don't break the First Block when solving Second Block
@@S1neWav_
That's why I said I love it.
Most non-Roux solvers do the Blocks in an F2L manner.
@@Jupilogy atleast its an example solve of someone who looks atleast sub-20 tbh, i got sub-20 with way worse technique imho
This is the most satisfying method to use imo (M and U moves pumps dopamine into my brain)
It seems to be another nice method to learn.
since Im a cfop user but I also know the roux method, I do this really stupid thing where for solving edges and corners I use my oll and pll algs lmal
As a new person who uses roux I am glad someone made a video on it
The cube must feel so smooth
Cfop has been proven to be faster, but this one is a bit easier.
This feels like learning cube from start 😂😂
Can you please make a tutorial for how to solve cube in pro way
Cfop is algorithmic while roux is intuitive. If you want to be extremely fast, pick cfop, if you want to be a little slower but still very fast pick roux
@@vykintasrakutis2503 nah roux is faster cfop usually 55-60 move roux 45-50 but
@@kolv2788 ...Roux is intuitive? It has less moves but cfop allows you to not think at all for anything. And tell me, what was the latest world record using roux?
What cube is that? It sounds really nice 😂
I don't solve with Roux I normally use CFOP but it feels alot more natural to me that after orienting the corners you make the cross with M moves and then oll and pll (with M moves). I know it's probably slower but it feels more natural
I wish i started with this not the beginner method, but it works
This demonstration is faster than my average
What cube are you using?
we slicing the center in this one Ⓜ️Ⓜ️Ⓜ️Ⓜ️
I figured out my own roux method after hearing about it. I should try other methods to building the side block. That one looks interesting though.
Can’t move that quickly either. Sometimes I take longer doing a reverse rotation.
I need to learn this eventually, when I find the time to spend on it.
Currently CFOP, as most, but I'm eager for improvements & maybe cross-methods ideas, so that in certain sitations, it might be + funny to mix the strats/algo if you get a lucky case in another méthod, for instance...
For anyone want to know the cube name in the video: It's the Valk 3 Elite. The reason why it has such a clicky clacky sound is because of the center cap magnet (yep, they put 4 magnet around the center cap), and also the cube mechanisms too😅
That fact that my last name is Le Roux
I love the roux method because there are so little algorithms to memorise. Most of it can be done intuitively.
I started with CFOP, then took about a month break from it. When I came back I had to relearn all the algorithms I had forgotten. Super frustrating.
Meanwhile with the Roux method, I didn't cube for over 3 months and it took me just a few hours to learn the important algorithms again
I use cfop but i actually learn roux to practice my M moves for cfop and it help a ton
What is this cube model name?😊
What is your rubik's cube brand?
yeah yeah but how do you make the second block without ruining the first block? it always troubles me
What cube are you using in this video
What specific cube model is that ?
What cube did you use
Bro I have a friend. He has a cube that don’t turning ( worst than rubiks brand) and I can’t turn the middle layer on that cube
Me using layer by layer seeing this video:
BRO YOU CUBE SOUND LIKE A CUSTOM 500 DOLLAR KEYBOARD
The last method is like in 4x4
And when you can solve both of them CFOP ROUX :)) xD
That LSE kinda hurt me, ngl
Roux for the win!
I love the methord you will make a vedio to explain this methord
Fun fact : This is the most intuitive of the big 3 (CFOP, ROUX and ZZ)
Really? That's amazing. I must try it nowe. As a CFOP user I'm just seeing other methods for the first time now and can't believe there are other intuitive methods
What cube is this?
I’m a CFOP cuber but I can do Roux too
After 7 years of being unhappy with cubing, i was peaking only sub 20, I really didn't enjoy the hobby... I had no idea it was just CFOP that was holding me back. I hate cfop with a passion, I don't find anything about it interesting. Now that I'm switching to roux, I haven't had this much fun speedcubing since I first started
Cubers:hmm nice method
Gamers:OMG I LIKE THIS METHOD I LIKE ROBUX METHOD 😄😄😄
Cuber:WHAT THE F-
Lumberjack
That is a Qiyi cube right? If im not wrong that is a Valk
why is it like a 4x4 💀
What cube is that pls
Cfop method on top😜
Hey sir. I have a question- cn you now Able to solve it in like 1 minute of time is it's possible now?😅
I made my own version of Roux 1 Block 1 Block 2 then top corners solve bottom edges with M U moves *intuitively* then OLL top edges with only M U moves then You end up with H perm or U perm use the U perms with MU moves only
im always slow on CMLL🤣others are easy
i need to know what cube that is and exactly how its set up like jesus christ
hi bro which cube is this 🥺
Bro is j perms son💀
When you say “solving top layer corners” what should I study to solve them?
Can you give me the algorithm
Bro plz formula for this nethod
Bro i came to Roux because of the Puppet Cube II 😂😅😂😅
It's its it's it's genius
What cube is that
CFOP🔛🔝
You cup stack what’s your best cycle
Bro his rubix cube sounds like a keyboard•_•
How fast can you solve the cube using Roux method ?
Sean Patrick Villanueva averages sub6 and gas a 4.11 with it
And Rouxers are less than 1% of cubers
Still make great times
ROUXbiks cube
What's the name of cube
A little doubt from a CFOPer here😅. Once you orient the edges, why doing left and right edges instead of doing bottom edges and proceed to an easy PLL? I love learning new ways and algs, but every time I come to this step, I automatically want solve bottom and get to H, Z or U perm. Why not?
Because you can get efficient and do EOLR, that means solving these edges while orienting everything the cases really are not slower, and the name of the method you just described is ZBRoux
I am a cfop cuber and this method has no rotatations which is really cool and fast but the fact is that i would still use cfop since almost ever speed cuber uses cfop and i think roux has to many steps to learn that's why i would not use roux method
CFOP Steps:
Cross
F2L
OLL
PLL
Roux Steps:
Block 1
Block 2
CMLL
LSE
They are divided into the same number of steps - And the first two are essentially the same as the first 2 with CFOP, Blocks 1 and 2 are just a more efficient version of Cross+F2L
Also, CFOP can be rotation-less. Even if you needed to see the back F2L slots due to lack of lookahead, you can use d2 to see the back and avoid regripping.
@@kiraPh1234kd moves are pseudo rotations
Also Roux has same steps but less moves
And it's pretty ergonomic bc
Not everyone uses Roux bc CFOP it's more popular but that doesn't mean it's better
what cube is this
Can u do ZZ plese
How long would it take to learn this?
Well intermediate roux uses 10 algorithms and the rest is intuitive solving
It's like solving a big F2L thingy
how does your cubs sound more like a type writer than a typewriter does
Ngl i use CFOP but i think i wanna learn zz and roux too, but i hear they have more algs, is that rumor true? I heard it from my cuber fren
Roux has 42 algs only
Whereas cfop has 72 algs I guess
And zz has infinite algs(493 algs)
So roux is least dependent on algs
Absolutely no, roux has 42 algorithm (CMLL), and if you already know COLL then good for you 'cause CMLL is exactly the same as COLL, so most of it is intuitive, ZZ is exactly the same as CFOP except it uses weird method to orient all edges
Whos the best tutorial for Roux method training
Good
cube name
What does roux never rotates mean?
It means that they stay in their position without doing any x y z rotation to the cube which is can reduce time
I cant even solve a rubiks cube im a begginer
What’s that cube
I use roux but I’m slow
I am the 900 like
bro make it slow
make it slow
No thank I'll keep solving in cfop method
I use roux and i can barely get sub 15
roux > CFOP
WHAT KINF OF CUBW IS THAT?! gimmie it
Eddie! You’re too CFOP minded!
I kinda tried to learn roux, it's cool but not for me.
You can tell he doesn’t use roux
Did you know I’m only 7 and I know how to do the roux method like what 😂😂😂
What.
As a CFOP cuber this method is really interesting because of the fact no rotations were used. If I had known about the Roux method when I started speedcubing I definitely would’ve learned it.
It's easy if you know fridrich, must learn only 3 or 4 algorithms
But to be fair, look ahead is much harder on roux, and im not sure about move count, but move count can be absurdly low on cfop if u get good solutions. So you might get slightly faster average.
@@kinocubing5389 Roux averages about 10 STM less than CFOP, so that compensates for the worse lookahead
@@knnth070 thats why i said u get faster average but not the world records, cus people can get a 25 move solution without stopping which is why yusheng du got a 3.42 second solve or whatever the time was
1 month into rubik, I found that Roux is too fun than CFOP, no rotation, but im still didnt understand and use oll and pll instead lmao
