War. The most horrid thing anyone can go through. Fighting for someone you know but fighting against someone you don't know but they are fighting for someone they know. It goes both ways men fought for many reasons the Germans in WW2 some we're child soldiers and didn't even get to see through the rest of their life's or have kids of their own. The sad reality of war it was something common in WW1 especially the British. But one thing usually stays the same. Behind every ironsight there's a man, a man who fights for his rights, his country, his family, or what's in front of him.

After seeing the two young brothers enjoying a fine summer day there was a sense of dread as you began to turn the display. I knew what was coming but still felt an overwhelming sadness. Such beautiful work should be displayed in a museum.

In Poland '39? in France '40? in Russia '41? They shot many members of my family, elders, womens and childrens. Wehrmacht not SS

Für mich persönlich nicht das interessanteste oder schönste Diorama aber DEFINITIV das mit dem größten Handwerklichen Geschick und der besten Umsetzung einer selbst erfundenen Szenerie. Ich glaube nicht das es auf UA-cam ein weiteres Diorama gibt das so sehr unter die Haut geht und so penibel umgesetzt wurde wie dieses. You can't compare the Wehrmacht (the actual army) with the few Waffen-SS divisions who fought for Germany in WW2. Those two brothers weren't part of the Nazi militia, they were real soldiers who fought for their country. Just like the British or the French.
This is less a diorama and more a piece of classic sculptural art. A lot of people, especially here in America, don’t really understand that the soldiers of the Wehrmacht weren’t the same monsters that the Nazi party were, that most of the men that fought for Germany were just kids, heavily indoctrinated and forced into service in a war they didn’t ask to be a part of. This is truly beautiful and shows the humanity that was present in both sides of the war, despite the horrors and atrocities committed by the men in power.
What can I say Thomas that a few hundred people already have...😧 Terrific idea, and as always beautifully executed, you’ve made assembling the tree look so easy (as if), and so much quicker than building using wire (and probably more realistic). Mk35 figures & accessories always look great too - well done bud👏👏🙂🔝

Was für ein glücklicher Mann du sein musst! In keiner von den Künsten in denen ich mich versucht habe, konnte ich es zur Perfektion bringen. Letztlich fehlte mir immer der Biss, die beständige Disziplin. Mit Gnade und viel Arbeit war manches Projekt aber doch nahe dran an einer Art "Vollendung". Dieses Glücksgefühl, seinem Können und seinem Vermögen, vielleicht sogar seiner Bestimmung zu folgen, ist schon in der partiellen Form unbeschreiblich. Es ist eine so derart hohe Schwingung, dass ich glaube, man berührt dabei das Göttliche selbst. Ich gönne dir diese Berührungen von ganzem Herzen und danke dir, dass du die vollendeten Meisterwerke deiner Kunst mit der Community teilst. Liebe Grüße aus Südostbayern!

This is less a diorama and more a piece of classic sculptural art. A lot of people, especially here in America, don’t really understand that the soldiers of the Wehrmacht weren’t the same monsters that the Nazi party were, that most of the men that fought for Germany were just kids, heavily indoctrinated and forced into service in a war they didn’t ask to be a part of. This is truly beautiful and shows the humanity that was present in both sides of the war, despite the horrors and atrocities committed by the men in power.

What can I say Thomas that a few hundred people already have...😧 Terrific idea, and as always beautifully executed, you’ve made assembling the tree look so easy (as if), and so much quicker than building using wire (and probably more realistic). Mk35 figures & accessories always look great too - well done bud👏👏🙂🔝

Was für ein glücklicher Mann du sein musst! In keiner von den Künsten in denen ich mich versucht habe, konnte ich es zur Perfektion bringen. Letztlich fehlte mir immer der Biss, die beständige Disziplin. Mit Gnade und viel Arbeit war manches Projekt aber doch nahe dran an einer Art "Vollendung". Dieses Glücksgefühl, seinem Können und seinem Vermögen, vielleicht sogar seiner Bestimmung zu folgen, ist schon in der partiellen Form unbeschreiblich. Es ist eine so derart hohe Schwingung, dass ich glaube, man berührt dabei das Göttliche selbst. Ich gönne dir diese Berührungen von ganzem Herzen und danke dir, dass du die vollendeten Meisterwerke deiner Kunst mit der Community teilst. Liebe Grüße aus Südostbayern!
