    Does your Vevor button machine still work after two years? I'm thinking of getting one but I'm worried it will break after a few months.

      Mine still works! BUT it does have its moments. I would say if you're looking for heavy long-term use, definitely uprade to a more expensive one. This one is great for just trying out button making. EDIT: As of Nov 2024 the handle broke off. But that was after heavy use. It did me well while i had it.

    When the plastic cover part does that it’s often because you have two of them or two metal pieces if that makes sense! I had that happen to me as well and I have to be super careful they’re not stuck together before I punch it.

    you just unlocked my memory lol i forgot i had one of these from a few years ago lol
    sometimes i would help friends at cons
    they always said it was better to print the background bigger than u need in case it gets off center when pressing
    also the fabric ones are cool!

      Thanks for the advice! The fabric I tried was knit and slightly thicker. I bet if I used light woven cotton, the fabric pins would turn out better!

    What kind of paper do you use to print the button designs?
    Edit: try cutting the fabric smaller, the thickness might be messing with the edges.

    i know this video is old but how are you measuring the images u print out? for some reason no matter how hard i try i just cant get my pin maker to align my image correctly😭

    • @MYNTHSHOP
      @MYNTHSHOP  16 днів тому

      You want your image to be the entirety of the plate. So, i cut my circles at 1.75" for my 1.25" buttons. Give the plate a measure so the paper won't be able to move. Hope this helps!

    I can confirm that plastic or metal backs don't matter. I have some with plastic backs that are rusting through the image.

    Yours still holding up? Mine won't work well anymore. I even bought 2 machines lol

      It definitely has its moments. I feel like it's been more sensitive recently. One thing off, and it throws a tantrum. I have, however, made nearly 1k buttons at this point. I had just bought the machine as a tester to see if I like it, and it has proven well. I do think I will upgrade to something a bit hardier when I have the means to do so. I'll be sure to do a new video and compare when I get there. Sorry you're not having a great experience! What has been going on with yours?

      I'm excited because I was accepted to sell at what was my first ever con all those years ago. It feels full circle!
