- Made this video to check out the fishing on J Percy Priest Lake. In the last couple weeks of December a warm front is on its way and made the fishing tough for most of the people I spoke with. Still managed to put a few fish in the boat with the limited time I had. I made it a challenge for myself to figure some new things out off shore on the main lake using finesse style tactics. The conditions made the day even harder and I went to back to where I know I could catch some. Be careful unhooking the bow strap before backing down the ramp. My buddies Ranger fell off at Chick in the winter because the carpet was still frozen solid and it slid off like it was nothing!
Will Jernigan I don’t usually un strap it until it’s in the water when it’s freezing temps. I’ve seen it happen too.

@@BassGeek a lot to choose from here in middle TN and really I'm an hour or so away from places like Guntersville, pickwick, the Chick, and KY lake.

The hybrid are on fire right now on priest. Strictly 35ft
Ryan Fujimura I caught them really good one year I wish I would of filmed that day we lost count after about 20
They are like that pretty often this town of year! We get in schools of them and can’t pull them up fast enough! We like to use blade baits, strictly 35ft, where the birds are flying. We can pull up anywhere from 10-100+ Hybrid in a day. And I’m not exaggerating! Those priest hybrid just don’t stop! Good luck man. If I ever see your boat out on the water, I have some custom made lures to give you
