Hi Rich, long time listener, first time caller. Love the videos but, I'd like to know more about the process you went through to establish the size of your hole? Thickness of walls? What materials? what clearance needed outside the walls and why? How do you decide the depth of each base layer? How much overlap of the concrete base is needed outside the walls and why? Thanks in advance!
Hi Jon, All good questions there. I was thinking of making a more technical video showing the pool construction and a bit more details as to the thinking behind the construction method. I have already built the 3d models so shouldn't take too long to put together... watch this space!
You mention insulation in base, what about walls?
Hi Steve, So the walls are built of ICF, which stands for insulated concrete forms, this is basically an insulation sandwich with a concrete core in the middle. I am going to make a video detailing a bit more around the construction. Hopefully that will be available in the next few weeks!
