The way they portrayed Seb winning the title in 2012 in that F1 video annoyed me so much because Seb only needed P7 to win the title and he got there all on his own so he already was champion and did all he had to when Michael let him through. It wasn't that Michael gifted Seb the title, Seb was already there himself. Michael letting him through was just a bonus really but Seb would have clinched it anyway. Nevermind the fact that Seb was 40 points behind Alonso and fought his way back to be in the championship lead over the second half of the season as well!!
Lemme add that the RB's damage in Brazil was so great, it was slower than a Torro Rosso in a drying track. Seb went from P24 to P8 in just 8 laps and pretty much repeated it 3 more times because of no radio and poor strategy from RB in a car that was slower than a Torro Rosso before Michael let him pass. I hope APF JJ is reading this cause the video was a shitshow in general.
@@sandalphoncpu Yeah it really was!! The Baku 21 bit annoyed me almost as much as the 2012 section haha. Like Seb started P11 and ended up leading and lapping the same times as Max and Lewis before he pitted and ended up P4!! And that was long before Max had the DNF and Lewis locked up and fell back! It really wasn't just right time right place like the video made it look. Honestly that thing is so badly done jeez.
Some would argue it was the car that let Vettel win the titles I'd say its more of a case of driver and car becoming one, the ultimate combination, Vettel in Red Bull was untouchable at times. His teammate Mark Webber was a very solid driver for sure and in fact there were more drivers fighting for the championship in those years, but Vettel can just work magic when he's comfortable with the car

Toro Rosso now known as Alpha Tauri is Red Bull's 2nd Team, essentially a midfield team that Gasly got his 1st win at in 2020 on the same track. Difference is Vettel was on pole and the the fastest man in the race in a car that had no right to be at the front. Where as Gasly was more circumstantial.
in 2007/2008 the Torro rosso and the Redbull where nearly identical cars, because back then you could run technicly a complete customer team. The only difference where, that the rb had renault power, while the tr had Ferrari, so was technicly actualy the faster car. Both teams where none the less midfield /backmarker teams in this era. the running order of cars back then was basicly ferrari&mclaren, Bmw Sauber, Toyota, Renault, rb&tr&williams, honda, Forceindia. The first 8 of them probably all inside the same second. After roughly 10 years of an stable aerodynamic ruleset, cars tend to become quite close to each other.
08:27 - To fill you in. Starting from a pitlane can become necessary if you cant clock in a time during qualifying. That can happen if your car was destroyed in FP3 for example and had to be rebuilt from groundup, or if you destroy your car before a first full and valid completed lap. There may also be another reason why you want to start from the pit. for example your mechanics find a setup tweak what could give you half a second or something per lap, and you happen to be back in the field at the backmarkers. You could stay in the pits. make your changes and start from there. If it starts to rain, everyone is allowed to change tires for that. Starting from Pit, is not usual, though. It involves to wait with running engines directly at the pit exit until everyone has started and is past the pit exit.
The Red Bull car was a monster yes, and was in probably all the seasons the best car (except maybe 2012 where mclaren was fast but unreliable). But the field was much more competitive than it is today, and Sebastian was a beast himself as well. You don't win 9 races in a row without plenty of talent. In 2010 there were like 5 title contenders at the last race and in 2012 there were 6 champions on the grid. In 2011 and 2013 Vettel dominated though and in those seasons was maybe more dominant than Schumacher himself. (Everything what I'm saying is just speculating and my opinion though)
2010 is also questionable, button was in mclaren for the first time and was having issues adapting to the car which probably made himself and the team loose a lot of points, hamilton also had various minor crashes that didnt make him DNF but he did loose positions -> points
@Thunder_Wolf027 red bull car breaking down and mclaren car breaking down especially in the "fixed" parts after a crash, probably the reason why hamilton´s car was breaking down a lot more than button´s, alonso just picking up the places they left on those races and managing to stay ahead of a slighly better on average lotus (amazing car, so good-looking btw) gave himself the chance to win the wdc
@Thunder_Wolf027 the f2012 was within 3tenths from pole at the 2nd half of the season and clearly has the best race pace behind the Mclarens. The car was bulletproof and Nando had the best teams of strategists and pit crews. Even Nando himself said he had the best package that year, and without RB's poor reliability, he wouldn't even be close to challenging the title.
Rb was even all seasons except 2013 it was in a league of its own... i mean 3 title contendors, 8 different race winners, not leading wdc till after summer break is far from the best car...seb was just in a league of his own...
Sebastian Vettel is my favorite F1 driver of all time. He is a beast when he is comfortable in the car. If Vettel becomes one with his car, it's pretty much over for the rest of the grid. He is a great human being and F1 legend with many records to his name some of which are still waiting to be beaten. Best example of his wet racing skills and feeling comfortable in his car is Monza 2008 which was mentioned in the video. He became the youngest pole sitter and youngest race winner with that amazing performance. His car was a midfield car aka a car that really didn't deserve to be up there in the pole position. But his driving skills especially in rain allowed him his first ever race win.
You should stream the F1 channel. You can watch races clear back to the 1980’s! For me, it costs $79/ year which isn’t too expensive. You will learn everything you need to about Vettel by watching the 2009-2013 seasons. He just about had the ‘09 title if it weren’t for unreliability issus with his car. I love Seb. He’s the most humble man on track. He spent two hours picking up garbage from the track after his race last year! He married his hometown girlfriend, and when asked who he thought the most influential people in the world were, he named his parents. When asked what he thinks his greatest and probably most extravagant purchase was; while others said yachts, airplanes, or cars, his answer was his house. The man is solid. Before going to Aston Martin, his racing future was uncertain. Someone asked if he seriously considered retiring from racing and he said he had. They asked what he might have done had he retired, and he told them he wanted to become a farmer. The man is just plain likable. Like pinch his cheeks and squeeze him likable! 😊
Vettel was uncanny in its ability to manage extremely well the levels of downforce of the Red Bull, but he has some indisputable natural talent, amazing qualifying speed, and really good race craft.
18:14 Torro Rosso (now Alpha Tauri) is a separate team. It's linked with RedBull tho. RedBull uses it for development of young drivers from RedBull family. It rather always was a team from midfield or lower midfield. Torro Rosso also means Red Bull in Italian
2:30 Well, you don't win 4 consecutive tiles unless you're special. That being said, Red Bull was insane during that time. Except for 2010, when Ferrari and Mclaren were up there with them, they were kind of insufferably dominant. In this case, I'd say Vettel's dominance was a mixture of both reasons, pretty much like with Lewis Hamilton in the last 8 years. Great driver at the wheel of a dominant car. 3:34 Hamilton made his debut in 2007, so same season as Vettel. 4:12 It is a thing, you just never ever see it. I don't remember anyone ever doing this before or since. 7:12 Aston Martin's history is a whole thing: it has its origins in 1991, when Jordan entered F1. In 2006, it became Midland. Four races later, it became Spyker. In 2008, it became Force India. In 2018, it became Racing Point and, finally, in 2021, it became Aston Martin. And if you think that's complicated, wait til you see the historyof Alpine. 8:07 Yes, and if that happens, you can basically kiss your victory goodbye. However, in the 1984 South African GP, Alain Prost started from the pit lane and somehow finished second. And it boggles the mind that F1 didn't include that crazy flex in their Top 10 Moments of Prost Brilliance video, cause that isn't even close to normal. 9:43 In 2012, it was Alonso, but otherwise, the dude was pretty much uncontested, because Vettel's teammate, Mark Webber, was in very bad terms with Vettel and Red Bull didn't want to see them take each other out, so they heavily prioritized Vettel. 10:18 That's 60 degrees Celsius, so 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Basically, you would melt. 11:58 Vettel not having a mega ego? You clearly didn't watch his Red Bull years live, cause he was insufferable back then (just ask Mark Webber). Tbf, I think anyone would develop a mega ego if they were so successful at such a young age and he has... let's say cooled down since then. There is a great video by Aldas about how Vettel went from being the most hated driver in F1 to one of the most popular. 13:48 Ah, yes, everyone's favorite race finish: the behind-a-safety-car finish. Yes, that can happen and unfortunately that reminded me of what happened last year in Belgium. I'm still mad about it, cause I love Spa-Francorchamps. 16:32 Not always, but it has been like that for some years now. 18:18 Toro Rosso was Red Bull's sister team, or their B team, if you will, but in 2020, they became Alpha Tauri (still Red Bull's B team). Basically, Red Bull has young talents prove their worth in Alpha Tauri (Toro Rosso back then) and if they think that young talent can become world champion, they promote them to Red Bull, which is what happened to Max Verstappen.
@@karl8805 he was also dominant in 2011 and banged the season with most point which this record is hold till today (15) and in 2013 he dominanted the season from the 2nd half with 9 wins in a row (still he holds this record) and 13 wins in a season matching Michael Schumacher with also (13) in season. Beating the both RBs in 2008 with TR and getting the youngest pole sitter(still holds the record) also holding the records for youngest world champion, x1,x2,x3.
yes you can start from the pitlane if u want to make big changes to ur car but if u start from thee yo have to wait for the whole pack to move and a few secodns after the last car is gone the pitlane light turns green and u can go after u start u can be like 5 seconds behind last place so it isnt desired
There are a few rules that say when you have to start from the pitlane. Most simple one ist the clock. If you aren't on the grid a few minutes (I think 15 but I'm not sure) before the race starts, then you have to stay in the pitlane. When the race starts, you are allowed to leave the pitlane when the field is Already a few corners away.
After qualifying you are only allowed to make minimal changes to the car, if anything more is done then the driver must start from the pit lane where basically they wait for the rest of the drivers to start the race before joining the track
Aston Martin is a rebranded Racing Point (the pink cars from older seasons), which is a continuation itself of Force India (where Perez spend a lot of his career before moving to Redbull in 2021).
For information to Vettel starting from pit lane in 2012 Abu Dhabi GP in F1 there is rule that say:"if team any make modification to car after qualifying car must start from pit lane" the rule is called Parc Ferme rule
In abu dhabi 2010 said the team boss your are the world champion the world champion 11 years later the team boss said the same woords to max verstappen
Yep, during 2010-2013, it was all about Vettel vs Alonso (except for 2011 where Button had a shot at the title). Essentially, Hamilton was absolutely horrible during this time, while his cars weren't bad at all. Infact, Button who finished 2nd in 2011 was his teammate; Lewis finished 5th. Throughout 2010-2013 he never managed to finish better than 4th in the final standings, even though his cars we're always among the top 3 in terms of pace and were quite capable of fighting with RedBull. Rosberg was struggling with Mercedes a bit, they were still a pretty new team so they had a bit of catching up to do.
18:16 Toro Rosso became Alphatauri Redbull bought Jaguar to be the main Redbull team and they bought Minardi to be their junior team Toro Rosso which would then become Alphatauri. Fun fact: When Vettel won for Toro Rosso in 2008, Toro Rosso got their first win before the main Red Bull team got theirs.
Vettel is a very good driver, as long he had backing and a good atmosphere in the team he was in. Vettel is younger than Hamilton, 2007 Hamilton was 2nd behind raikkonen in his rookie season and got his first title 2008. So yes he was there at his debut and he actually won the us gp in 2007. He had Weber, Alonso and Hamilton as rivals for his title years in 2010 he was only ahead after the last race (not that sure about the year, but he got 1 title where he was never in front until the end). Toro rosso is now alpha tauri and the junior team of red bull. Vettel actually got the first win of the franchise and made the sister team the first winner. Vettels main rival depends as said on the year, he was the biggest rival for hamilton from 2017-2018
8:16 Start from the Pit Lane, also known as a Pit Lane start is mostly done after technical issues FORCED a driver to start from there, but there's a catch. The driver must wait at the end of the pitlane and wait till the light turns green. That is mostly done after the other 19 (or ore) drivers have already passed the exit of pitlane....-> A dead last start and not ideal man!
Starting from the pitlane sees you behind the white line on the pitlane exit waiting until the last car gets ahead of you, then you are good to go usually 3s behind if it's a short run to T1
Vettel was at one with the car, it was a combination of best car and best driver. Most wdc sit in the best car, that’s just how it works. But Webber had the same exact car and was 30 Seconds behind, so certainly Seb showed that he won the titles, not the car. Sad to see people still saying he only won bc of the car
8:18 starting from the pitlane is a penalty, if you breach the parc ferme regulations and make changes to the car after qualifying. You stand at the pit exit until every car passed you, then you will be released
i stand by the fact that without a winning driver, it doesnt matter if you have a winning car. you have to have a capable car to win, absolutely, but you need a capable driver as well. they go hand in hand. if it was all the car, thats saying someone like me or you could get in the best car on the grid and win the championship which is just...not true.
8:20 with the first entry into qualifying your car become to match the "parc ferme" rules with includes, that you're not allowed to change anything setup based, if you decide to break the parc ferme you have to start from pitlane after the last car passes the pit out line. 18:20 Toro Rosso became Alpha Tauri
Main contenders for title since 2005, hope this helps :) 2005: Alonso (Renault) v Raikkonen (McLaren) 2006: Alonso (Renault) v Schumacher (Ferrari) 2007-8: Hamilton (McLaren) v Raikkonen (Ferrari) v Alonso (McLaren) v Massa (Ferrari) 2009: Button (Brawn) v Vettel (Red Bull) v Barichello (Brawn) v Webber (Red Bull) 2010-11: Vettel (Red Bull) v Alonso (Ferrari) v Webber (Red Bull) v Hamilton (McLaren) v Button (McLaren) 2012: Same as 2010-11 plus Raikkonen (Lotus) 2013: Vettel (Red Bull) v Alonso (Ferrari) v Hamilton (Mercedes) v Webber (Red Bull) vs Raikkonen (Lotus) v Rosberg (Mercedes) 2014-16: Hamilton (Mercedes) Vs Rosberg (Mercedes) 2017-18: Hamilton (Mercedes) v Vettel (Ferrari) 2019-20 Hamilton (Mercedes) v Bottas (Mercedes) 2021: Hamilton (Mercedes) v Verstappen (Red Bull) Some of these championships weren't that close in the end, but all the drivers listed would have been considered 'top' cars for that season
Well it technically was allowed due to a loophole in the rules... Except nobody ever thought of doing that. But since Seb did, it's definitely not possible anymore.
No, Toro Rosso is Red Bull's B team, where they test their young drivers. Today, the team is called AlphaTauri, which is the name of a Red Bull clothing store. Sorry for making three comments on the same video
Basically if you change too much components on the car after qualifying, and if you change your tires as well, you start from the pit lane at pit lane speed until you cross the pit lane exit and race like everyone, except that this means you’re just dead last
Vettel did have a pretty big ego until he went to Ferrari. He was one of the more hated drivers but he really matured and grew into one of the nicest guys in f1. Also toro rosso is the junior team for red bull and was re named alpha tauri in 2020. It’s like if tsunoda won a race last year
@@EinfachnurItax360 but then again there was his response to multi 21. Didn’t really care at first, then apologised in an interview then retracted his apology at the next race
Answering your two questions: Yes, drivers can start from the pits. This can happen for a variety of reasons, like the driver has received a penalty, or he enters the pits at the end of the formation lap to put on new tyres. In the past, if an accident happened in the final laps that caused the entry of the Safety Car, the race ended behind the SC. Nowadays, if an accident happens in the final laps that would cause the entry of the Safety Car, they red flag the race until the car is removed.
Toro Rosso (now named Alpha Tauri) is a separate team also owned by Red Bull, and serves as the first step into F1 for drivers in the Red Bull young driver program.
F1 has a system called Parc Ferme (Closed Park), Once cars leave the garage for qualifying the teams can no longer make changes to the car unless it is critical repairs. If a team makes changes to the setup or fit new parts then they have broken Parc Ferme and they must start from the pit lane. Honestly there is so much to know about F1 that comments aren't enough, you really need to sit down and study it to understand some of the rules
Red Bull joined F1 in 2005 when they bought Jaguar. Toro Rosso was formed in 2006 as a Junior team for Red Bull's young drivers. In 2020 Toro Rosso became Alpha Tauri and has now the status of sister-team rather than junior-team
Why don`t you dive into MotoGP aswell. There you had much much intenser rivalries, tougher fights, harder crashes, and just as much drama. But those guys are doing it on 2 wheels with 300hp going 360 km/h elbow to elbow to elbow... You`d love the history of Valentino Rossi and his rivalries troughout the years...
2:30 Sebastian is a very gifted driver in my opinion, you don’t just end up in Red Bull you must prove yourself worthy and show you are better than everyone, one does not simply become a 4 time world champion because of the car alone. 8:08 yes according to FIA regulations any changes on the car of replacing one part with a different spec part can result in a pit lane start 9:36 Nico was at Mercedes, at the time a very midfield team, and Lewis was occasionally winning races in McLaren so no they were not a big deal 9:45 Seb had Lewis and Alonso as his main rivals for the most part 11:46 welcome to Ferrari they don’t make cars, they make ruined careers 13:44 There is no doubt that Micheal let Seb through but there are two factors here, Micheal was good friends with Seb and treated him like a son, he was Seb’s mentor plus this was Micheals last race so it was basically a gift for Seb. 13:53 yes if there is a crash near the end of the race and the Safety Car is deployed the race can finish behind the Safety Car 16:35 yes we F1 always ends it off in Abu Dhabi as that is a part of their contract that the season finale must be held at the Yas Marina Circuit 18:22 No, Torro Rosso (now Alpha Tauri) was once a team called Minardi, then Red Bull bought it and rebranded it as Torro Rosso and basically tested the skills of their driver candidates by having them race at Torro Rosso prior to joining F1
About the Torro Rosso and red bull thing, Torro Rosso didn’t become Red Bull, they’re two seperate teams, Torro Rosso (that is now called Alpha Tauri) is Red Bulls “sister team”. Basically their B Team in F1 where they sign young drivers coming up through F2 etc. Also Torro Rosso literally means Red Bull in Italian lol
10:25 feeling as "60 degrees Celcius" is more likely what the commentator tried to tell, due to Malaysia's humid weather.... 60 Celcius = 140 Fahrenheit (that's hot)
8:08 Yes there are rules under what is called "Parc Ferme". That is a guarded place in the pitlane where the cars are held between qualifying and the race. If any alterations are made to the car while it is in Parc Ferme the team has to start from the pit lane. Parc Ferme starts when the car leaves the pit garage to start Qualifying 1. The driver gets the green light to go when the last car exits turn 1. Weeeeell Alonso did beat Schumacher for the title in 05 and 06, so it makes sence for Schumi to let Vettel take it. Doont get us starting of Safety Cars.... its a touchy subject right now :D
In the most brutal honesty possible, F1's video on Seb is an absolute shitshow. Poor choice of moments of his brillance, no context to portray how and why it was brilliant, and many other things that made it unengaging in general. I can list some races they SHOULD'VE added. China 2009 where Vettel has a major mechanical problem where he only have one qualifying run for per section, whereas others had 3--5 runs (had refueling). He got the first pole in a RB and dominated the field in one of the wettest race in F1 history and got his first win for RB where he would establish himself as an All Time Great. Add Christian Horner's quote saying, "There's nobody that can lead better than Sebastian Vettel..." and list the greatest example of that in Singapore 2013 where he consistently lapped the next fastest car by over 2 seconds and inspite of the safety car reducing his 40second lead to 0 in the final 10 laps or so, he still finished over 30 seconds ahead. Without the safety car, Seb would've lapped the field in the longest race lap in the calendar. I am absolutely surprised nobody in the comment section criticize it. I said this once on Kimi's video on his moment of brilliance and I'll say it again. Don't let this journalist make the Moments of Brilliance video ever again. Bring back Will Buxton or whoever made the Alonso, Hamilton, and Rosberg video and I demand a redo where Will Buxton this time will do the honors.
There's a rule that says that the cars can't be changed from the start of qualifying to the end of the race. If they do then they have to start from the pitlane. Given Vettel had to start from last anyway it wasn't that much worse and the changes they made were worth it.
Starting from the pit lane is normal. Usually see it when cars have been altered right before the race, but we also saw it at Hungary last year when the entire field minus Hamilton pitted for dry tyres at the restart. I think there was a race last year where Checo had problems with his car pre-race as well, and there was speculation as to whether Red Bull would chance it and start him from the pit lane after they rushed to fix it, or if he wouldn’t race. Correct me if I’m wrong, remind me if I’m right. Basically, you wait at the pit exit line until the rest of the field passes you, then you go. It’s a step more severe a penalty than a grid drop pre-race and a step or two under being DQed entirely.
Vettel is two years younger than Hamilton who started at the beginning of 2007 and was one of the youngest race winners at the time but not one of the youngest to score a point. Plus the good thing about F1 is that they'll finish behind a safety car near the end of the race if they have to rather than risk more accidents like in Nascar.
I think you never can say that it was the car its always the driver who wins if it would been the car then there was his teammate and his teammate was nowhere close to Seb
Toro Rosso was what Alpha Tauri is to RedBull now. The sister team, the 2nd team, the less important team... Infact, that last moment in the video is more important than they made it look. Sebastian not only won his first race, but secured a victory for the sister team, BEFORE the main team (RedBull) managed to do it.
@@APFJJ idk how that works, all i can do is guess why thats possible... They're completely separately run; Different engineers, mechanics, team principals and stuff like that. Pretty sure both have different facilities/bases and factories. All thats the same are the owners of both teams, but they maybe present themselves as a completely different company/owner, if that makes any sense (alpha tauri is a clothing company, but its owned by RedBull). Obviously similarities go further than that behind the scenes *(If you pay attention even today, you can see that visually RedBull and Alpha Tauri look quite similar, if not identical in terms of car design).* Actually back then, Red Bull and Torro Rosso ran completely different engines as well, RB had Renault engines while TR had Ferrari engines.
Between the time of Hamilton's first championship win and his move to Mercedes, he was still considered one of the best drivers of the grid, but the McLaren was no longer the best car. Even so, when he moved to Mercedes in 2013, many people considered him crazy for moving from a championship winning team to a team with only a single race win, and since then Mercedes have won 7 championships and McLaren have only a single race win.
Lewis was definitely a big deal already during Seb’s dominance as he already won a WDC in 2008, but McLaren had quite a lot of issues in those years that affected him. He was still recognized as an amazing driver, just not as dominant as he was after joining Mercedes
of course, every champion has won with the best car on the grid, maybe 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012 were exceptions, but is like that everytime, in 2010 there were 5 different drivers from 3 teams that could have won the title, button-hamilton(mclaren), ferrari(alonso) and last vettel-webber(red bull racing), in 2012 alonso could have won the title with a inferior ferrari, that was 1 seconds behind redbull in qualy and in race too but with alonso's greatness he almost made it happend, althought the last race was absolutely disgusting because of the way it ended(ended with safety car, not by racing)
The way they portrayed Seb winning the title in 2012 in that F1 video annoyed me so much because Seb only needed P7 to win the title and he got there all on his own so he already was champion and did all he had to when Michael let him through.

9wins in a row is the record for a reason.
The car was brilliant, especially in 11 & 13, but I would say Seb made the difference most of the time!
But his driving skills especially in rain allowed him his first ever race win.
the redbull era of sebastian vettel was amazing! Toro Rosso was Red Bull's 2nd Team, what is now known as Alpha Tauri
Very well said!
Vettel was uncanny in its ability to manage extremely well the levels of downforce of the Red Bull, but he has some indisputable natural talent, amazing qualifying speed, and really good race craft.
Biggest Rivale from sebastian Vettel
1.Fernando Alonso (2010 - 14)
2.Lewis Hamilton (2010 & 2015 - 2018)
3.Jenson Button (2009 - 11)
WAIT YOU HAVE SO MANY F1 VIDEOS, I’ll binge watch rn
18:14 Torro Rosso (now Alpha Tauri) is a separate team. It's linked with RedBull tho. RedBull uses it for development of young drivers from RedBull family. It rather always was a team from midfield or lower midfield. Torro Rosso also means Red Bull in Italian
Toro Rosso is now alpha tauri
Sebs rb was only dominant in 2013... the other 3 seasons ferarri mclaren and rb were equal....
I dont know what you were watching, but it wasnt f1
Seb was NOT insufferable; you may have thought so, but I did not, so that’s just your opinion.
technically in 2013 mercedes had a car equal to the rb but they were to unreliable so thats why rb and vettel ran away with it
@@synthrl4229 yeah but that was the only reason his season was a dominant one in 2013... it was the rb speed
Actually Hamilton was already in F1 in 2007. At the Canadian GP, the race before the USA GP, Hamilton took his first F1 victory.
yes you can start from the pitlane if u want to make big changes to ur car but if u start from thee yo have to wait for the whole pack to move and a few secodns after the last car is gone the pitlane light turns green and u can go after u start u can be like 5 seconds behind last place so it isnt desired
Toro Rosso (now known as Alpha Tauri) is the B team to Red Bull
Red Bull own the team and use it to give their junior drivers a chance in F1
I liked the fact he was like : “ You can start in the pit lane “ and vettel started on it in 2020 I think in a race or maybe 2021
For information to Vettel starting from pit lane in 2012 Abu Dhabi GP in F1 there is rule that say:"if team any make modification to car after qualifying
car must start from pit lane" the rule is called Parc Ferme rule
There is allot of Funny Vettel moments, he is amazing
The principal rivals for Vettel were Alonso in 2010 / 2012, Hamilton in 2010 / 2011, Webber in 2010
3:32 bro wtf HAHAHAHA
Rosberg was struggling with Mercedes a bit, they were still a pretty new team so they had a bit of catching up to do.
i really needed this explanation lol thank you
@@APFJJ anytime man!
Keep up the good content :)
18:16 Toro Rosso became Alphatauri
Redbull bought Jaguar to be the main Redbull team and they bought Minardi to be their junior team Toro Rosso which would then become Alphatauri.
Vettels main rival depends as said on the year, he was the biggest rival for hamilton from 2017-2018
ooh u should def react to abu dhabi 2010 radio rewind
8:16 Start from the Pit Lane, also known as a Pit Lane start is mostly done after technical issues FORCED a driver to start from there, but there's a catch. The driver must wait at the end of the pitlane and wait till the light turns green. That is mostly done after the other 19 (or ore) drivers have already passed the exit of pitlane....-> A dead last start and not ideal man!
2007 was also lewis' rookie year but he was much older than vetted and lewis was fighting for the championship too in that year
Starting from the pitlane sees you behind the white line on the pitlane exit waiting until the last car gets ahead of you, then you are good to go usually 3s behind if it's a short run to T1
6:15 Thats Max V. for u right there. Thats his mentality. But then his fans get upset when he crashes
Toro roso is Alpha tauri on the grid this days. Junior team for Redbull. They changed their name a few years back. Marketinkg purposes.
Main contenders for title since 2005, hope this helps :)
2005: Alonso (Renault) v Raikkonen (McLaren)
2006: Alonso (Renault) v Schumacher (Ferrari)
2007-8: Hamilton (McLaren) v Raikkonen (Ferrari) v Alonso (McLaren) v Massa (Ferrari)
2009: Button (Brawn) v Vettel (Red Bull) v Barichello (Brawn) v Webber (Red Bull)
2010-11: Vettel (Red Bull) v Alonso (Ferrari) v Webber (Red Bull) v Hamilton (McLaren) v Button (McLaren)
2012: Same as 2010-11 plus Raikkonen (Lotus)
2013: Vettel (Red Bull) v Alonso (Ferrari) v Hamilton (Mercedes) v Webber (Red Bull) vs Raikkonen (Lotus) v Rosberg (Mercedes)
2014-16: Hamilton (Mercedes) Vs Rosberg (Mercedes)
2017-18: Hamilton (Mercedes) v Vettel (Ferrari)
2019-20 Hamilton (Mercedes) v Bottas (Mercedes)
2021: Hamilton (Mercedes) v Verstappen (Red Bull)
Some of these championships weren't that close in the end, but all the drivers listed would have been considered 'top' cars for that season
4:11 It wasn't a thing then and it still isn't now, he just did it and everybody else just thought "wait, is that allowed?":'D
Torro Rosso/Alpha Tauri(currently) is the second team of redbull racing
pit lane start happens when a team changes a component in the car example:internal combustion engine
It’s like if tsunoda won a race last year
Idk wich year it was? But in his Redbull years he said in an interview he just like driving fast cars he was Always down to earth.
@@EinfachnurItax360 but then again there was his response to multi 21. Didn’t really care at first, then apologised in an interview then retracted his apology at the next race
@@JB22. This is Something People want Bottas to do but Vettel isnt allowed to? Im okay with both ways.
Answering your two questions:
Yes, drivers can start from the pits.
Baku wasnt for Verstappen car, Red Bull asked to Red Flag the race for the high posibility of another puncture
8:08 yes according to FIA regulations any changes on the car of replacing one part with a different spec part can result in a pit lane start
9:36 Nico was at Mercedes, at the time a very midfield team, and Lewis was occasionally winning races in McLaren so no they were not a big deal
9:45 Seb had Lewis and Alonso as his main rivals for the most part
11:46 welcome to Ferrari they don’t make cars, they make ruined careers
13:44 There is no doubt that Micheal let Seb through but there are two factors here, Micheal was good friends with Seb and treated him like a son, he was Seb’s mentor plus this was Micheals last race so it was basically a gift for Seb.
13:53 yes if there is a crash near the end of the race and the Safety Car is deployed the race can finish behind the Safety Car
16:35 yes we F1 always ends it off in Abu Dhabi as that is a part of their contract that the season finale must be held at the Yas Marina Circuit
18:22 No, Torro Rosso (now Alpha Tauri) was once a team called Minardi, then Red Bull bought it and rebranded it as Torro Rosso and basically tested the skills of their driver candidates by having them race at Torro Rosso prior to joining F1
"He had a good day"🤣 (germany 2018)
Toro Rosso is like Red Bulls 2nd Team, they were renamed Alpha Tauri in 2020 👍
when you realise he probably doesnt know what happened the day after that Quali in Germany............. :(
In the most brutal honesty possible, F1's video on Seb is an absolute shitshow.
Hamilton made his full time F1 debut in 2007, Vettel didn't start full time until 2008
In the Top 10 Moments i miss the 9 Wins in a row in 2013
Vettel at the time was better than anybody else!
You need to react to vettel and hamilton bromamce
Yesss boy
YESSSS please react more to Seb. Maybe you should react to multimap 21, it's pretty iconic, it's about vettel and his teammate Webber.
ToroRosso(now AlphaTauri) is Red Bull's midfield team. If you prove yourself with them, you have a chance to become Red Bull's top team driver
yeah a race can be finished in safety car but all teams agreed that this should never be an option, well 2021 abu dhabi gp is the closest example
Starting a race from pit lane is a penalty because you don't get a warm-up lap before the race (actual one).
13:46 Massi in last race 2021: "absolutely fucking no"
Vettel is two years younger than Hamilton who started at the beginning of 2007 and was one of the youngest race winners at the time but not one of the youngest to score a point. Plus the good thing about F1 is that they'll finish behind a safety car near the end of the race if they have to rather than risk more accidents like in Nascar.
F1 ITV coverages 2000 2001 please and longer extended outro as well
Seb greath driver and great hart❤️
I think you never can say that it was the car its always the driver who wins if it would been the car then there was his teammate and his teammate was nowhere close to Seb
3:34 yes he was
Still waiting for your reaction on top gear tribute to ayrton senna. You gonna love it..
If u r at the back and do stuff to the car that requires a penalty, u will start from the pits about 5-15 seconds behind the rest.
Toro Rossi was what we now know as Alpha Tauri is the JV team to Red Bull’s Varsity team
yeah I finally am starting to understand that
Vettel wasn't always the car. 2 of his championships went down to the wire. People forget how good these years were for racing.
torro rosso is the old name of alpha tauri, red bulls junior/sister team
Lewis also Started racing in F1 in 2007 👍
Torro tosso now alpha tauri is the sister team of red bull racing. Where the young red bull drivers start there F1 career
Toro Rosso was what Alpha Tauri is to RedBull now.
The sister team, the 2nd team, the less important team...
Infact, that last moment in the video is more important than they made it look.
Sebastian not only won his first race, but secured a victory for the sister team, BEFORE the main team (RedBull) managed to do it.
im so confused why is the best team and the 2nd team allowed to both compete in the same competition?
@@APFJJ idk how that works, all i can do is guess why thats possible...
They're completely separately run;
Different engineers, mechanics, team principals and stuff like that.
Pretty sure both have different facilities/bases and factories.
All thats the same are the owners of both teams, but they maybe present themselves as a completely different company/owner, if that makes any sense (alpha tauri is a clothing company, but its owned by RedBull).
Obviously similarities go further than that behind the scenes
*(If you pay attention even today, you can see that visually RedBull and Alpha Tauri look quite similar, if not identical in terms of car design).*
Actually back then, Red Bull and Torro Rosso ran completely different engines as well, RB had Renault engines while TR had Ferrari engines.
2021 hungarian gp everyone started from the pitlane lewis hamilton was the only one who didnt started from the pitlane

Can you react to the F1 2008 Brazil race and the F1 2012 Brazil race
Woooo Vettel
Heyyy what about Germany in 2019
Hey I think you should watch the final laps of the 2021 season
Lewis was definitely a big deal already during Seb’s dominance as he already won a WDC in 2008, but McLaren had quite a lot of issues in those years that affected him. He was still recognized as an amazing driver, just not as dominant as he was after joining Mercedes
you should react to the top 10 moments of Fernando Alonso's brilliance, in my opinion the best f1 driver ever.
He is certainly top 10.
Vettel’s main rival was “multi21” 🤣🤣
Vettel vs lewis for me is the best rivalry
of course, every champion has won with the best car on the grid, maybe 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012 were exceptions, but is like that everytime, in 2010 there were 5 different drivers from 3 teams that could have won the title, button-hamilton(mclaren), ferrari(alonso) and last vettel-webber(red bull racing), in 2012 alonso could have won the title with a inferior ferrari, that was 1 seconds behind redbull in qualy and in race too but with alonso's greatness he almost made it happend, althought the last race was absolutely disgusting because of the way it ended(ended with safety car, not by racing)
