Back in march 1982 or 81 I was still living in NY and I found a big box of Hindu books. The picture books, karmi entertainment I sold to weisers bookstore. Then I was carrying all the rest in my bag. I set up with other wares right by the Bowery on Astor place. I laid out the books I could not understand because of the Sanskri. There was one " Kasmir Shivism ". Within minutes a humble dressed Hindu man wearing a dickies unitard, and a parka, it was chilly, asked me "what are you doing with all these great books, right when I looked into his big, beautiful lotus eyes he slowly put his finger like a trigger, no now I think it was like a USB shape. We didn't know or I never imagined USB s back then. Also never let any stranger touch me but those eyes we're so entrancing! I looked down and I blinked when my eyes opened that was no human! His effulgence from his armored clad chest, gauntlets and weapons were magnificent! His fur was golden and so soft looking I was surrounded by pink, bright, sky and when I wanted to beg him to take me with him, and hug his enormously soft stature I blinked and it was my Indian customer. I now was able to see his beautiful eyes. He let out a great bellowing laugh and shook the foundation of Astor place. He asked " how much"? I begged to take it please sir! He laughed again. I was blown away and it was so intense I blocked or maybe he wanted it that way just in case I became lost again. I still wonder why me? I must of did something else in my past lives. To have any contact with the temple, kirtana, Karma Yoga, chanting the Maha Mantra is so important so beneficial in these dark times.
