The really dumb thing about Islam is that they believe Allah is the all-seeing and all-knowing god. So, here's the question that has never occurred to any Muslim; if Allah is also the best of planners (deceivers), then why did he not foresee that Christianity would rise to be the biggest faith after the crucifixion supposedly never happened?

One of my favourite verses in the Qur'an is Surah 8, line 12 which reads as follows: "Strike terror in the hearts of the unbelievers. Cut them above the neck and strike off their every finger". Islam reveals itself as a threat to civilization everywhere.
There are many that are worse.
The Torah and the Gospels are much worse, the Torah explicitly calls for genocide in Deuteronomy 20:14-16 which says to kill women and children of your enemies and take everything for yourselves.

As a Christian, I try to be respectful and tolerant of other religions, while holding steadfast in mine. I spent a number of years in a job which had me travel to many primarily Muslim areas of the world. I met and worked with many peaceful Muslims. However due to that exposure I have also long questioned the true intent of the Quran and it's teachings, although I never took the time to study them. I am glad that you are clarifying these passages. It is eye opening. Thank you.

Probably why Arabic was mostly a spoken language among Bedouin tribes. Arabic or any other Semitic language that did not arrive until after the first century A.D. I'm obviously no scholar of languages but all languages have been developing over time since people began speaking. At one point, some speculate around 10,000 years ago, Hebrew and Arabic were the same language called "Proto-Semitic"? The two languages share many roots and idioms, but they have been growing apart. Arabic was spoken language of desert nomads for at least many centuries before attestation in writing. The earliest indication of such a dialect is from 900 BCE, which makes it roughly contemporaneous with Hebrew, but how much longer a prehistory Arabic may have had is impossible to say. In terms of oldest attested writing and writing system, Hebrew is much older than Arabic, though not nearly the oldest attested language. Another thing, under Muslim rule Jerusalem was often a very neglected, is that why Jerusalem is mentioned over 600 times in the Bible and not once in the Quran? So, not once in the Quran but Muslims took the place which was holiest to the Jews 1500 years prior to the existence of Islam and made it the third holiest place? Was Jerusalem called something else? If not, why is the third holiest city in Islam but its never mentioned in the Quran? I guess because nothing makes a place more holy than competition with another religion?
The problem is moslems are raised to follow the Imam only...never to question. Most Moslems have no real understanding of the Quran. Only what the Imam tells them...this is why they are so fixed to not accept reality.

Just finished reading Seeking Allah Finding Jesus by Nabeel Qureshi. Such an amazing testimony. Recently converted back to Christianity months ago after rejecting the faith for years. After hearing all the Muslims propaganda on the internet I was close to becoming Muslim until I found Nabeel's story on UA-cam. He changed my life. It also worth knowing the following Islamic principles:
1) Abrogation--what was written later in the Koran overrides what was written earlier.
2) Taqiyya & Tarwayh--Islamic allowance for deception
Taqiyya is a Shia thing, lying is literally haram, abrogation just means that some verses were meant to be temporary and in some temporary contexts
Romans 12:9: Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Colossians 3:14: And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Ephesians 4:2: Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

The Quran says fight those that do not believe, but the Bible says if a person of another belief doesn’t eat a certain food, you too shouldn’t eat that food around them to not offend.

Years ago I like most people didn't know much about "islam", but I have been learning a lot and each time I learn something new, my jaw drops down. I read a lot of the Koran in an old Arabic/English version from Egypt. I later got an American paperback version and it made a much more subtle distinction between the jihadi Medina surahs and the Mecca surahs. It was clearly evident that the American version was written after 911 when Islam started rebranding itself as a religion if peace. It was when I got into the hadiths that the endemic violence of the Islamic records really began to startle me. I began to realize that deception was equally important iwith submission n Islam.

I'm a Bible-believing Christian and have learned some things from the Qur'an. Particularly, when my Muslim friend tells me we worship the same god, I explain that Surah 112 in the Qur'an teaches that Allah had no son. Compare that with John 3:16 of the Holy Bible, which teaches us that God gave his only begotten Son, begotten means birthed from the father's POV. So, we can learn that Allah and the God of the Bible are two different gods; one had a son, one did not. Only one is God. One can save you. The other cannot. They are not the same.

I have completed two different English translations of the Quran, and am now going through my notes to determine how many contradictions it has. I spoke with a Muslim from Indonesia last month, and he claimed, "In over 200 years, many scholars have probed through the Quran trying to find just one contradiction, and they have not been able to do so." I told him that I lost count after 50 in chapter 2 alone. I am also reading 3 other translations, including the one you suggested.
Here's something hilarious about "scholars:" I was told by another Muslim that since I did not have a doctorate degree in religious studies, that they would not believe in anything that I stated or had confidence in whatever I stated when discussing the Gospels with other Muslims. I asked him, "Then why do you follow Muhammad who was illiterate and never a scholar? (all I heard was crickets)

There is context to some verses and can easily be misinterpreted. You need to know the context otherwise anything can be taken out of context. The same can be done for Judaism and Christianity.

@@mohammedarteish7335 I have read the hafs quran and some of the hadiths and found the following very disturbing about Mohammed and his allah:
- Islam teaches that child marriage is OK which implies child rape (Surah 65:4) which is evil. And Mohammed of course led by example when he raped a 9 year old little girl.
- Islam teaches that it is OK for a husband to beat his wife (Surah 4:34) which is evil.
- Islam teaches that it is OK to use women captured in war to be used and sold as sex slaves (Surah 33:50) which evil.
- Islam teaches that Christians and Jews must be fought until they have been killed (murdered) unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in the own country (Surah 9:29) which is evil.
- Verily those who believe not [in Islam], among those who have received the scriptures [Jews and Christians], and among the idolaters, [shall be cast] into the fire of hell, to remain therein [for ever]. These are the worst of creatures.

Hello David, and happy new year! You once agreed that a general video on Islam's most trusted sources would be a good idea (can't find it though I'm sure it's on this video). You asked me to remind you over 6 months later, so here I am.
What better way to arm your ministry than to give tips on what to read, so that they can do some on their own too! It's not just the Quran. The hadith (but which hadith?)? The Tafsir (but which ones?) The Seerah literature? History of al-Tabari? So much to choose from. I imagine you're all set up now so this would be great.
Because well you know... show a man a Quran, and you expose Islam for a day. Teach a man to read the Quran, and he'll expose it for a lifetime. (Or something like that 😊 )

David Wood is serving humanity by sifting through the Quran for us. I don't think I could get through all of those books, but these videos are, for me, extremely helpful.
I attended a college class where a College Professor provided a lecture on the Muslim faith. I was surprised by my ignorance. Later I saw a lecture on UA-cam where a college professor provided even more detailed information. She said when Muslim religion was expanding, some elements of the existing religion was incorporated in that regions version of the Muslim religion.
In my earily youth, I wasn't in the position to determine which religion I was raised to belive. A child simply does what his parent's tell them and a good child follow's their parent's order's, command's, etc. etc. etc. But then being the extremely inquisitvie and courious child I was, which got me in trouble of various degree's qutie often with those who were supposedly more educated in various subject, one of them being religion. I spent year's that eventually caused me to be in my mid twenties, when I came to the conclusion and accepted the fact that I'm an Atheist. But it wasn't by accident, I asked question's never getting answer's, I read any and all of the various book's, and listened to any and all of those who would speak in regards to their choices of religion's. And only after all of my research and study, was I able to make such a conviction.
However, "IF" I were to be mandated to choose one and only one religion or face death. Although the Jew's simular to the Musslim's which have a couple of dozen different and separate sects, faction, aka denomination's, where as the Christian's have well over 1,200. I'd never choose Christianity. And in as much as any and all of the Koran and the Bible are in a sence plagoristic copies of the various part's of the "TORA". I'd choose Judism over any and all of those monolthic belief's. For an expample, the Jew's have more than 350 of what the Christian's refer to as commandment's. In which their, meanng the Christian ten can be found. And using semantic's the Musslim's have their commandment's all of which can be found within the Jewish more than 350. Thus the Jewish commandment's being so much older than the other's, the other's have basically using semantic's are just plagorized version's of the Jewish.
One learn's starting in grade school how to reduce thing's to that of a common denominator. Doing such with the three largest monolithic religion's. Makes the Jewish reliegon, though which of the more than two dozen sect's, faction is a factor. A no brainer, if and when one is mandated to choose a reliegon or die.
It’s an interesting opinion to hold - that Christianity “plagiarised” Judaism - considering the Old Testament is literally Jewish scripture! And though I understand the angle you’re coming from with the thousands of different Christian denominations, the differences are smaller than you might think - imo many pertain just to different Christian vocations rather than actually being different
@@JT-dm3tp I've no issue with one's belief in anything that gives them personally to any degree solist. It's only when they mandate to various degree's; I do the same as they. Though as an atheist and going out on a limb, agreeing there is but one god, it's seem's to be insufficent in regard's to the path one is supposedly to follow. That causes there to be so many difference's. More preristioner's mean's the persih, church, temple, etc. Has more money and as we all know, though money isn't everything, it beat's to the N-th degree, what's ever in first place.

Thanks for dropping this video, even though I'm eight months late ;-) Great to point out these verses, and I get where they're coming from, but I have a hard time ignoring a glaring problem with that first verse and point. As we know it, the devil is the Master of Confusion, and it makes sense the way that statement is set up. You're putting someone else in the place of Jesus on the cross. If you knew you had already lost the battle and the war, you'd need to come up with an idea so outlandish that it actually starts to sound true the more you look over the passage. Yes, we think to the verses in the first chapter of Corinthians that says the foolishness of God is greater than man's wisdom. The same is true with God and the devil, and replacing man's wisdom with the devil's wisdom in the passage actually does not change the context of the verse at all in the grand scheme. See what I did there??
The harsh truth still remains that Satan is a master manipulator, and getting a predominate group of people in the Middle East to believe in something so corrupt that they're probably doing circles around people like Joe Biden.

My sister was dating a Moslem when I was around 19 years old. She was quite enamoured of him and to convince me of her choice, gave me a copy of the koran to peruse. I did so. When I got to the part that said neither the Christian or the Jew was to be your friend I closed the piece of trash, gave it back to my sister. She married him anyway.
The point I make is that even at that age I knew this was not a "religion". I was not sure quite what it was in reality, but for sure not anything to do with a loving Supreme Being.
My response ever after that to any who asked about Moslems was, just read the koran. You will know how they really think.
Your sister should not go and live with your brother-in-law in a Muslim country, because that is the end of her and her freedom.

Like you said in the beginning ...unfortunately most Muslims don't read the Quran but listen to their Imam who preaches his rendition or interpretation of the verses. According to them you can't question your Imam.
Doubting scripture or what their clerics say is heresy, and carries a severe sharia punishment. They learn very early not to question anything. They see the consequences of those who argue or leave the cult. Over 90% of all honor killings are by members of one particular cult. No prizes for guessing which one.
They may as well be Roman Catholics who bow to the Pope's and priests.
Kind of like many so-called Christians. They fail to read and understand their Bible, preferring to listen to the wolf-in-sheep's-clothing in the pulpit who is preaching man-made doctrines and trying to rake in as much cash as he can from them.

I found the Quran breached copyright laws from Bible if they existed. Yes a direct copy. But since then I have learnt dark books of the Quran , the song verses, are really copied from Aramaic lexicons with minor changes. Another copyright breaching, just by moving dots from Aramaic text.

You have said it right how Muslim listen to verbal preaching, not reading the Quran. However, same situation is with Christians, in general they never read the Bible but follow rather verbal preaching.

I'm glad there are people studying Islam to educate those of its fallacies. We see this in the Bible where Paul shows that he educated the Greeks about their gods and how he approached every group differently according to what they believed in. This is even more true today with so many beliefs and subjective morality.
That being said, studying Islam is definitely not my calling nor desire. These kinds of videos are my limit of education of it.
