Nostalgia online. While extra bugs and gliches may occur online, it still would've been cool. I mean, mobile can do it, why not the Xbox? Or Switch? Or... Whatever type of PS you have

meh, it would prob have alot of the networking problems that mario maker 2 has lol (slowdowns, input lag, etc etc)

I wish there was an online multiplayer for two people to help each other out! So basically you’d have sonic and knuckles going through ALL of sonic 3 and k together! Imagine sonic and knuckles fighting through sky sanctuary together 😮😮
Imagine if in hidden palace (the sonic and knuckles version not the sonic 2 version) the players had to fight EACH OTHER (think something like the shadow fight in generations
you can do that on every version of sonic 2 and 3 except the mobile one, you play normally with 2 controllers and the second player can move tails

So basically there's a multiplayer for playing all the zones together with a friend but unfortunately there isn't no online (I completed sonic 3 with my bro)

Every time trials gets off screen in sonic 2 he jumps like a maniac
@@gamercentral2417 that could be hard to fix , if the problem is about the way tails works , they would have to recode the entire AI , which can be hard
This is really cool and this has a lot of potential I think it would be fun trolling random people and maybe a win system and if you win a game then you get coins and over all this would be a fun experience so I really hope that Sega sees this and decides to make it or at least something in this sort of theme. Nice work man!

Sega needs to do this feature for sonic origins and sonic mania.
We can only dream. Sega doesn’t do the amazing shit Nintendo can pull off. I like both companies though.

At first, I thought you meant co-op, until I realized that they did online competition mode on the mobile ports/decomps.
I would like to see Sega add Online Multiplayer to Sonic 1, CD, 2 and 3&K, but other than that, nice editing skills.
This is exactly what I want
The Sega Megadrive and Genesis Classics on Steam already has official online multiplayer support and it contains Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The Kega Fusion emulator also supports this and it works pretty well.

Should had added a power-up attack feature like in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle that harms the other player if it was to be just Competition Play.

It's actually not an animation. This was recorded in the offline multipayer mode in Sonic Origins, but without the stretched screens.

It would’ve been cool if there was an online co-op like Mario maker two so that maybe there will be secret passage ways that would you would need all three to be in the same place like what the thumbnail said it would make traversing marble zone look like a cakewalk

What if Sonic 1 introduced Amy as a second playable character? Along with both 2-Player modes: Co-Op and VS? While the Spin Dash was thought of sooner. While also including a few more Zones based on Japan, China, SE Asia, and the Moon(based on the early-concept arts)? With only 2-Acts per-Zone. With Scrap Brain Act 2 and Final Zone being the same Act. And all levels are easy, fun, and fast-paced like in Sonic 2?

Seems like most people here aren't aware of the 2013 Christian Whitehead remaster of sonic 2. It stayed exclusive to mobile until origins came out. It actually had (and still has) online multiplayer, which was taken out in origins in favor of the local multiplayer. But it's a *NIGHTMARE* to find a match tho

That isn't impossible, Sonic 2 iOS and Android had that (which is where you got the footage from I assume)
