It's funny... but when I think of Kim's greatest love, I think of Dan Stewart (John Reilly). I grew up watching this show. And the Kim-Dan-Susan-John story was riveting back in the day. Add Dr. Jim Strassfield (Geoffrey Horne), Pat Holland (Melinda Peterson), and Valerie Conway (Judith McConnell) in the mix, and it was must-see TV. Unfortunately, at the height of the story, Kathryn Hays was on medical leave and Patty McCormack filled in. When Hays returned, John Colenback resumed the part of Dan and the chemistry wasn't the same as with Hays/Reilly. And of all Bob's wives (Lisa, Sandy, Jennifer, Miranda, Kim), Jennifer (Gillian Spencer) was my favorite mate for Bob. As much as I like Elaine Princi, the Miranda character was just so off-mark and unsuitable for Bob.
