Here's a little fun read you guys can waste a little time on if you like hahaha. This MV, theoretically, is supposed to be the "sequel" to Secret. The main plot of both the Secret MV and I Wish MV is that the girls have been separated by the "evil villain dude" we saw in Secret and he has cast away our girls in different planets/universes. The main goal of the girls now is to reunite all members and be whole again. In Secret, they needed to summon their final member Yeunjung and were successful in doing so. Now their mission is to complete and unite ot13 and this is where the video starts. Also, notice how the pairings from Secret have been kept and are still being used in this MV. After discovering her crash site, Bona and Yeunjung have been travelling together looking for a way to find their other members. Yeoreum is still alone at the start of the MV but later on finds Bona and Yeunjung with the help of some green fireflies. Exy and Seola are still together and it looks like they've traded in their flying car for a robot unicorn. EunXiao are still together too. What happened to their wings, who knows? The only slight variation to the groupings is with the trios. The twins, Soobin and Dayoung are still together but it looks like they've traded in Dawon with Luda. The same goes with Xuan Yi and Mei Qi. They're still together but have traded in Luda for Dawon. The switch is unclear yet but the theory is that from what was shown in Secret, these two trios are capable of strong magic with Dawon being the strongest and most experienced sorceress of the 6. Maybe at some point, she needed to help Xuan Yi and Mei Qi with their magic (as we see in the MV her performing some stuff on China duo) and had to get Luda to babysit the twins (and as we see in the MV, she's just asleep while the twins play lol). What's happening in the MV is that the girls are trying to find a way out of their planets/universes so they could reunite with the other members. And it looks like the only way through is getting out of a door which can be seen at every grouping's background but is heavily shielded by some sort of force field. The first member who was able to go through their door was Yeoreum and it looks like the green fireflies have something to do with it and eventually a green firefly is seen on every grouping's world and they are able to break the shield guarding the doors and are able to walk through. During the "mannequin challenge" scene is where all the members have finally been reunited and are just playing around now and the door that Bona is holding is probably the door that led them to their meeting place. Sorry for the long post. Lol. The theory is convincing and I would be excited for a trilogy. Hahaha. As of now, keep supporting our girls. WJSN fighting!!!
I hope you don't mind if I add my own interpretation. No? Cool. To me, this video is about growing up and leaving fantasy behind. For the bulk of the video, when we're in the colorful world inside the force field, the girls are dressed like children. They are obsessed with unicorns, have charms all over their phones, play video games, etc. It's indicative of a childhood of fantasy, especially as that relates to children who grew up with the internet and cell phones. The reason they are all frozen at the door is because they don't want to leave. (Sorry for not knowing their names, but the one in front seems to be being pulled away from the door by the next person in line, and several of the other girls have concerned expressions). However, when they do leave, we see them at the beach together, wearing, I'm going to say, high school uniforms? They definitely match the anime "sailor uniform" so that could be what they're going for. They send off sky lanterns (representing leaving the past behind) and, judging by their facial expressions, have mixed feelings about it. They are happy to be moving on, but also sad to see that colorful world of their childhood go. But that's just a theory An MV theory

Anyway, here in NY State I used to have a cable TV company that carried the Korean Broadcast System (KBS) station. I dropped that cable company about 8 yrs. ago (too expensive lol) but the year or so before dropping them while scanning the channels I came across the KBS channel. It was on the weekend (can't remember if it was a Friday or Saturday night) and a Kpop girl group happened to be performing. Evidently it was a Kpop competition show on KBS so I watched the rest of the show. I then learned every weekend KBS would have that competition show on. I watched it every chance I got. Unfortunately I never wrote down names of groups and can't remember them so I don't know what group it was that made me a Kpop fan. So, after I dropped that cable TV company until about 2 yrs. ago when I finally decided to check out You Tube (YT) lol I didn't have access to any Kpop being I didn't do much at all online and didn't have You Tube. Hey! You still with me or did I put you to sleep? lol So, once I started doing YT and made a channel I immediately searched out Kpop. My Kpop playlist is one of my 1st playlist I put together. I was coming across so much good Kpop I was sorry I didn't start using YT years sooner. I don't know who you are but WJSN (Cosmic Girls as 13) is perhaps my favorite Kpop group. I say that because along with many of their songs 2 of their MVs are perhaps my favorite Kpop MVs. One is the dance practice MV of I WIsh and the other is their "Secret" comeback stage (I think it's called) MV. It's the one where they are wearing the classy back and white outfits. Visually this MV reminds me of Secret a lot, is it the same director? Kind of annoyed that they hardly showed Dawon, sure Yeonjung is good but I've always liked Dawon's voice more and she doesn't get enough recognition. Anyway, here in NY State I used to have a cable TV company that carried the Korean Broadcast System (KBS) station. I dropped that cable company about 8 yrs. ago (too expensive lol) but the year or so before dropping them while scanning the channels I came across the KBS channel. It was on the weekend (can't remember if it was a Friday or Saturday night) and a Kpop girl group happened to be performing. Evidently it was a Kpop competition show on KBS so I watched the rest of the show. I then learned every weekend KBS would have that competition show on. I watched it every chance I got. Unfortunately I never wrote down names of groups and can't remember them so I don't know what group it was that made me a Kpop fan. So, after I dropped that cable TV company until about 2 yrs. ago when I finally decided to check out You Tube (YT) lol I didn't have access to any Kpop being I didn't do much at all online and didn't have You Tube. Hey! You still with me or did I put you to sleep? lol So, once I started doing YT and made a channel I immediately searched out Kpop. My Kpop playlist is one of my 1st playlist I put together. I was coming across so much good Kpop I was sorry I didn't start using YT years sooner. I don't know who you are but WJSN (Cosmic Girls as 13) is perhaps my favorite Kpop group. I say that because along with many of their songs 2 of their MVs are perhaps my favorite Kpop MVs. One is the dance practice MV of I WIsh and the other is their "Secret" comeback stage (I think it's called) MV. It's the one where they are wearing the classy back and white outfits. As 10 they are still amazing. Hey! Wake up! I'm just about done. lol So, there you have it. That's my Kpop story. Hope you have a great day!

Visually this MV reminds me of Secret a lot, is it the same director? Kind of annoyed that they hardly showed Dawon, sure Yeonjung is good but I've always liked Dawon's voice more and she doesn't get enough recognition. Cheng Xiao got screentime but no dance break, hopefully they gave her something in the live choreo.

Yeonjung ! I only come for Yeonjung, but who's knows, maybe I'll start getting into this group after IOI disbands (T.T) they're great and I usually don't go for super cutesy besides gfriend, but as long as the song is good, it's worth it

Whenever I go on WJSN MV watching sprees, I always remember how amazing this concept suited them. They were the group that got me interested in magical fantasy songs but I couldn't find any group that did it like like them.
